Today it is common to have adult horses stabled for most of the day. This limits the horses? ability to perform some of their natural behaviors such as foraging and movement. The purpose of this review was to compare the feral horses? diurnal rhythm and time budget with stabled horses.

Background/aims: Extensive studies have found an association between parent - adolescent relationships and adolescents' alcohol use. However, only a few studies have been carried out in Sweden. Also, few studies have focused on 17-19 year olds or binge drinking. The aim of this study is to examine whether there is an association between perceived parent - youth relationship and binge drinking among 17-19 year olds in Stockholm, Sweden. Theory: Social Development Model is a risk-focused prevention strategy which emphasizes the importance of social units, such as the family.

Kultur finns i samhället på flera olika nivåer, och det som binder samman människor inom en kultur, ett samhälle eller en organisation, är att man har samma normer och värderingar.Denna studie identifierar och behandlar likheter och skillnader i kundrelationer inom ett och samma företag med verksamhet i flera olika länder. En jämförande studie har valts, mellan två länder i Europa som kan ses varandras kulturella kontraster, Sverige och Spanien. Dessa båda länder präglas av två nationella kulturer, och syftet med studien är att ta reda på vilka skillnader och likheter som kan finnas i kundrelationerna, i sättet att arbeta gentemot kunderna och även till en viss del finna ursprunget till dessa.

The aim of this study is to understand which strategies helped women escape honourbased violence, by reading the autobiographies of seven women. Honourbased violence is a relatively new problem in Sweden, but it has existed for a long time. According to FN (2012) 5000 women are murdered every year in the name of honour. Honourbased violence is about maintaining the honour of the family. Womens sexuality is connected to men´s honour, and because of that they are not allowed to express it.

This cross-sectional study investigated the use of health benefits in relation to the self-rated health of employees at two medium-sized industrial enterprises in Hälsingland. The method used to investigate this was through a self-designed questionnaire consisting 19 questions about health, lifestyle and health benefits at the workplace. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed in the two companies, hence 50 surveys at each workplace. The response rate was measured to 88 % and 74 %, which means a loss of 6 persons and 13 persons. The results showed that Company nr 1 offers its employees a health benefits consisting of free access to gym in the company premises after working hours and financial contributions to training-cards.

In this essay I have studied how the kid?s school start are described in picture books. The studied questions are: How the school is described in these selected picture books; what feeling does the main character have into the school start; how the teachers are described in this selected picture books and how are the power relationship described in these selected picture books?The method I have chosen for this essay is a discourse analysis of seven selected picture books with the meaning of starting school. All books studied are written during the 1990 and forward.

Den handeln har i Sverige haft en trög tillväxt jämfört med den elektroniska, en förklaring till detta kan vara säkerhetsaspekten. Flera forskare uttrycker att det råder en osäkert hos konsumenten i transaktionsutförandet.

Studiens syfte har varit att se vad sjuksköterskan i sin omvårdnad kan göra för att stödja barn i åldrarna tre till tolv år som är anhöriga till svårt sjuka föräldrar samt i samband med förälderns bortgång. Studien har genomförts som en litteraturstudie. Det har inte direkt forskats så mycket om sjuksköterskans roll vid bemötande av barn som är anhöriga till en svårt sjuk förälder. Den forskning som finns om barn fokuseras till stor del på situationer då det är barnet som är sjukt och föräldrarna är anhöriga. Vissa forskare har dock intresserat sig för stöd av anhöriga i stort.

Examensarbetet tar upp frågor som handlar om konsumentens inköpsbeteende på konsumentmarknader och vad som påverkar hennes beslut. Syftet är att undersöka hur stor betydelse de faktorer som nämns i teorin faktiskt har på konsuments inköpsbeteende. Med hjälp av dessa visar det sig även vad konsumenten värdesätter hos produkter, varumärken samt företagen. Metoden som användes till det är olika typer av sekundär- samt primärdata. För att sammanställa teorin användes sekundärdata medan för empirin användes mest primärdata.

I denna uppsats undersöks ungdomars användning av gratis mobilapplikationer. Uppsatsen lyfter fram faktorer som påverkar applikationsanvändningen och förklarar hur faktorerna i jämförelse med varandra påverkar användningen. Genom detta nyanseras även skillnader mellan användningen av gratis-applikationer och betal-applikationer.En kvalitativ studie gjordes i form av två fokusgrupper där den åtskiljande faktorn var förvärvsinkomst. Deltagarna fick i grupper diskutera olika teman, till exempel pris, sociala påtryckningar och attityd kring användningen av mobilapplikationer. Resultatet av gruppintervjuerna tolkades och analyserades utifrån en tolkningsram baserad på företagsekonomiska teorier.
