How the running and controlling goes, vary on different municipalities, depending how the organization is constructed and what is being prioritised. There exist laws and directives which the businesses have to follow, but beyond this the organisations are quite free to prioritise and to decide what the best is for the community as a whole unit. The municipality has access to different tools which purpose is to help them running the organization as good as possible, so they can create a well-operated business. This is very important, regarding that the tax money should be spent in an effective way, and be able to do so it is required good and well-functioned system of control.A big change has happened when the instrument BSC (Balanced Scorecard) was introduced in certain municipality. In this essay the focus lies on two municipalities, Vellinge and Kristianstad.

There are many different recommendations on how to keep pelargoniums over winter, but most of the recommendations suggest ?the higher the temperature, the more light and water the pelargonium needs?. The purpose with this paper is to try to explain the best and the worst results that are achieved with different storage alternatives of zonal pelargoniums. The results are based on an orientating investigation carried out in January-February, and a questionnaire that members of the Swedish Pelargonium Society answered to. Both the orientating investigation and the questionnaire showed that zonal pelargoniums are best stored light and cold but frost free. They should be irrigated according to their needs which is when the soil is dry, about every second to third week. Zonal pelargoniums are very resistant to drought and can survive without water for at least 44 days, both when kept under light and cold as well as under light and warm.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the perception of Christianity in nine textbooks andidentify changes in-between them and over time. The content of the textbooks will also bediscussed in relation to the steering documents connected to each book.I have chosen to focus on three curriculums, Lgy 70, Lpf 94 and Gy 11. My researchquestions are: how Christianity is treated in textbooks in religious studies in relation to theperception of Jesus, God and man? What are the differences/similarities across time andlearning materials? In what way does the textbooks change with the syllabuses?Text consumption and discursive practices is analyzed with the help of a set of tools thatare based on the critical discourse analysis and Fairclough's three-dimensional model. Theimage of Jesus, if described by a textbook, is also analysed.Three textbooks were chosen from each curricula.

This study focusses on how people in Sweden commemorate their dogs and handle their demise. By examining memorial texts for dogs that are presented by their owners on internet forums, memorial texts that are used on gravestones on an animal cemetery as well as an interview with an animal nurse, the study examines how dogs are humanized and treated in human-like ways. With theories about new animism, social acceptance (nomos) and ontology as the theoretical framework, the study provides an analysis of strategies by which people tend to humanize dogs in ways that are often similar to the handling and mourning of human deceased.                                               The empirical data illustrate how dog owners in Swedish society who have lost their beloved pet express themselves in terms of religious terminology. According to memorial texts, the dogs go to heaven, where they may be reunited with their owners, become free from their diseases, and in some cases they are buried in separate graves in animal cemeteries. The study also illustrates how dogs in Sweden today have almost equal opportunities and access to medical care as human beings.

Breast cancer is the most common tumor disease among women in Sweden. About 7000persons, having a median age of 65, are diagnosed each year with this disease. Withmammography screening, breast cancer can be detected in an early stage which improves theoverall survival (OS). 20-30 % of the breast cancer tumors are overexpressing humanepidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), which is a protein that stimulates cell proliferation.Trastuzumab (Herceptin®) is a humanised monoclonal antibody that targets the HER2-proteinand prevent the signals for cell proliferation.Trastuzumab has earlier been used for treatment of metastatic breast cancer. In the year of 2007trastuzumab was approved for adjuvant treatment of patients who has been medicated withsurgery and/or radiation.The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of adjuvant treatment with trastuzumab inHER2-positive breast cancer patients.

It is sixty years since Sweden's first star-shaped housing estate was built in Gröndal, a suburb of Stockholm. Olle Engkvist, the building contractor, was the driving force behind the residential area and it was designed by architects Sven Backström and Leif Reinius. The estate comprises detached star-shaped houses suited to a more hilly terrain and terraced star-shaped houses on the flat land. The eight gardens of the terraced houses form the shape of a hexagon. It is these gardens, designed by Sven Hermelin and Per Friberg, which are the main focus of this thesis. The buildings on the estate have recently been renovated and it is now time for the gardens to be restored.

In order for a judgement to be enforceable in another Member State, there is a certain requirement for an "intermediate? court procedure, a so-called exequatur procedure. An exequatur procedure is both expensive and time-consuming. The average cost of the procedure within the EU is 2 200 euro in a case without particular difficulties. In more complex cases, the cost of the procedure can be validated up to 12 700 euro.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att göra en metodutvärdering av metoden, Reading to Learn. Utvärderingen kommer visa om metoden har några begränsningar, för- och nackdelar och om den passar i olika skolämnen. För att komma fram till ett resultat används aktionsforskning vilket innebär observationer, intervjuer och eget utförande. Genom observationer och intervjuer ficks en bra inblick i metoden och utifrån det insamlade materialet kunde metoden utvärderas. Resultatet visar att metoden är användbar enligt olika perspektiv hos lärare.

Officially, the EU gender policy since 2000 has been guided by the strategy of Gender Mainstreaming. This strategy aims to promote gender equality and is informed by a feminist ontology which stipulates that women are structurally subordinated.In this essay, I examine whether the European Commission has adequately adhered to this gender policy in its free trade negotiations with the ACP (African, Caribbean, and Pacific) countries as part of the Cotonou Agreement. As a result of my text analysis of documents related to the negotiations, opinion pieces by interested actors and policy papers of the EU, I find that the Commission does not act in accordance to its stated gender policy.To explain this discrepancy between policy intent and actions, I employ postliberal feminist theory and Robert Putnam's Two-Level Game Theory Model. By analyzing statistics and published research, I explore how gender issues are being represented politically on a domestic and international level.My findings show that a key cause of this discrepancy lies in the low levels of female participation in the political institutions of the EU and ACP; a lack of participation that is especially pronounced in the area of international economics. In explaining the constraints on female participation and the prospects of full implementation of the EU's gender policy in the international political economy, I emphasize the role of culturally and historically gendered institutions..

The investigation aims to clarify to what extent non-conscious thought has efficacy in for instance decision making,and also examine some aspects of the question whether decisions are caused by free will. This is done by an analysisof new research in neuroscience, economics, the combination of the two within neuroeconomics, evolutionarytheory and especially the new theory of Unconscious thought (Nordgren & Dijksterhuis 2006), which will enjoyspecial scrutiny due to its recentness in the scientific field. A decision strategy ought to put high-level consciouscognition to use where it is most effective, and this is on a different level than the canonized one. Meta decisionmaking is decision making concerning which decisions ought to be made consciously. It is the area where the largestamount of freedom can be obtained wherein the largest amount of thought effort ought to be invested.

Syftet med magisteruppsatsen är att undersöka om filminstruktioner ur ett pedagogsikt hänseende är bättre eller åtminstone upplevs som bättre än andra typer av instruktioner. För att få svar på det har mina frågeställningar varit: Hur fungerar utbildningsfilm kopplat till QR-kod i industrin som verktyg för lärande? Hur upplever arbetarna olika typer av instruktioner? Vad krävs för att filmade instruktioner kopplade till QR-kod ska fungera som ett medel för lärande i industrin? Hur ser arbetarna på kombinationen av QR-kod och video som instruktionsform? De metoder jag använde var av kvalitativ karaktär och bestod av observation, intervjuer, analys av filmade testningar samt experiment.Det finns för- och nackdelar med alla instruktionsformer och uppgiftens utformning, svårighetsgrad eller riskgrad styr preferens. Arbetarna i min undersökning föredrar filmade instruktioner på grund av deras effektivitet, multimodalitet, individualisering samt tillgänglighet till expert. Försökspersonerna upplever dock att tekniken tar tid.

Regler och lagar som hanterar revision har över tiden modifierats i syfte att undanröja sannolikheten för att skandaler och oegentligheter skall inträffa på nytt. Dessa regelförändringar har bidragit till att revisorns roll förändrats under det senaste århundradet. Vad sedan klienter har för bild av revisionen samt vad revisorn i sitt arbete ämnar utföra kan influeras av den makt som massmedia utövar. I takt med detta är det inte förvånansvärt att det uppstår vanföreställningar gällande vad revisionen egentligen innefattar samt vad klienten förväntar att revisorn skall leverera eller hur revisorn uppfattar klientens föreställningar om vad revisionen syftar till. När sedan massmedias rapportering och inflytande ständigt tilltar, hur påverkas då förväntningarna mellan revisorer och klienter? Syftet med studien är att skapa förståelse för vilken påverkan massmedia kan ha på förväntningsgapet mellan klienter och revisorer.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att skapa en förstudie avseende möjligheter till en eventuell eliminering av egen lagerhållning och övergång till e- handel av förnödenheter vid SSAB Tunnplåt AB i Luleå. Syftet har uppnåtts genom att analysera möjligheter till avveckling av egen lagerhållning och övergång till behovsbeställning av förnödenheter inom VVS. Vidare har en analys och beskrivning av alternativa e-handelslösningar genomförts där för- och nackdelar redovisats och renderat i rekommendationer.

Transfer pricing innebär i grund och botten att den vinst som företagsgrupper får ska fördelas på ett korrekt sätt mellan deländer där gruppen har aktörer.Armlängdsprincipen är den internationellt accepterade tillvägagångssättet att fastställa priser när närstående företag handlar medvarandra. Principen innebär att företagen ska handla med varandra precis som om de vore oberoende företag, påarmlängdsavstånd.Immateriella tillgångar har en rad egenskaper som gör dem speciellt svårvärderade ur armlängdsperspektiv. Marknadsvärdetbehöver inte vara samma som värdet för ägaren. I regel finns det heller inga transaktioner som innefattar immateriella tillgångarvilket gör det svårt att få en lämplig armlängdsvärdering med hjälp av de tre traditionella metoderna.De två vinstbaserade metoderna (Profit Split Method och Transactional Net Margin Method) är de mest lämpliga för atttillgodose armlängdsprincipen. Profit Split Method:s kanske största fördel är att man för att använda metoden inte behöver hajämförbara transaktioner till hands.
