The continual challenge? A case study of sports clubs marketingIn recent decades the mass media have come to play an increasingly important role in society and culture. The purpose of this qualitative study is to research how four nonprofit sports clubs in Umeå handle social changes such as commercialization and mediatization. To answer the study?s purpose three questions were examined.

Examensarbetets mål är att bygga något intressant att visa upp på rekryteringsmässor i Sverige. Detta för att öka intresset att söka till tekniska utbildningar inom elektronik. De två delarna projektet består av är att konstruera två kretskort, ett huvudkort som ska monteras på ett litet motordrivet fordon och ett styrdon att styra bilen med. Huvudkortet har elektronik för kommunikation med dator via en seriell port till en mikrokontroll samt fotodetektorer för kommunikation med styrdonet. Kommunikationen mellan huvudkortet och styrdonet sker via infrarött ljus.

Syftet med vår studie är att få ökad kunskap om hur pedagoger tänker och arbetar med bild- och formskapande med de yngsta barnen i förskolan. Bakgrunden ger en litteraturgenomgång om de områden som är relevanta för att det ska ske ett positivt skapande med barn och för att främja deras utveckling. Det har gjorts fem kvalitativa intervjuer med utbildade förskollärare som arbetar med bild- och formskapande med barn i förskolan. Detta har gjorts för att få kunskap om pedagogers uppfattning om detta ämne. Resultatet visar att samtliga respondenter anser att de yngre barnen i förskolan är kapabla att delta i bild- och formskapande aktiviteter och att det är viktigt att börja med skapandet redan med de yngsta barnen.

Recently, retailers within the Swedish grocery retail sector have launched lines of products under its own brand, quite often produced by manufactures within the same category of products. The common term of this phenomenon is called private labels. Therefore, private labels could be seen as competitors against branded goods, despite the fact that it is, in several cases, the same manufacturer who produces each of the products.The main purpose of this study is to provide understanding of how the manufacturers choose to position themselves, formulate their strategies and compete on the market among private labels, also to examine the motive behind the manufacturer's choice to produce private labels. The study intends to provide a broader view of how the interaction between manufacturers, retailers, private labels and branded goods appears on the Swedish market. We decided to use a qualitative research method and personal interviews to approach the study.

Syftet med studien har varit att beskriva erfarenheter av dialogen mellan distansstudenter och dialogens betydelse för förståelse och meningsskapande. Vårt empiriska material utgörs av semi?strukturerade intervjuer. Respondenterna består av studenter som vid något tillfälle har varit distansstudenter vid distansutbildningar hållna av Blekinge Tekniska Högskola. Vissa respondenters erfarenheter grundar sig även i distansstudier vid andra universitet och högskolor.

The first vampire film I ever saw was Interview with a vampire. ?I haven?t been human for two hundred years?, opened up not only the film, but a whole new world I knew nothing about. The world, as it were, opened its doors to me again after I had seen the film adaption of Stephenie Meyers Twilight. I decided to write down a few thoughts, capture my frame of mind, and these paragraphs then turned into a text: ?I tankarnas skal?.              When I did research for this essay I discovered that my text held certain similarities with the modern vampire novel.

Today there is a shortage of skilled IT-technicians in Sweden. It is approximated that Swedish companies can hire 31 000 IT-technicians in 2015 and the need seems to increase in the coming years. One proposed solution to this problem is to make programming more desirable to youths. In this study we attempt to investigate the effects of an introductory course in computer science on youths? (16-17 years old) in a classroom setting.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a visual identity to the café Trädgårdscafét. This was to increase the awareness of the cafe among the population of Borlänge. To make the company's visual identity visible, we also organized a guerrilla marketing. The outcome of the guerrilla marketing were then measured by calculating the number of guests during a certain period of time and also through a survey conducted in Borlänge.Graphic material, such as a graphic identity, business cards, feel good-cards, store signs, standing information folders to place on the tables and pavement board was created. Flyers and posters were also created for the guerrilla marketing.

Bakgrund: Postoperativ smärta är en subjektiv och unik upplevelse. Faktorer som oro och ångest kan bidra till att smärtupplevelsen förstärks. Vid omvårdnad av postoperativa patienter har sjuksköterskan en central roll. Utifrån ett helhetsperspektiv ska hon, med sin kliniska blick samt vetenskapligt beprövad erfarenhet, bedöma smärta, identifiera patientens behov av lindring samt utvärdera dess effekt. Syfte: Studiens syfte är att belysa de rutiner och strategier som sjuksköterskan använder sig av för att bedöma, lindra och utvärdera postoperativ smärta hos nyopererade patienter.

Denna studie undersöker ett antagande om att konst är bra för hälsan. I Sverige finns en tradition av att använda och producera bilder i vårdsammanhang men ingen traditionsbunden forskning eller utbildning för att utvärdera detta. Vem säger att bildskapandet är hälsosamt, och vilka argument används för att styrka detta?Vad sägs egentligen om bildskapande verksamhet och hälsa, av i första hand pedagogerna själva, men även av verksamheterna i deras informationstexter? Genom att använda diskursanalys som verktyg har jag samlat in och bearbetat material som består av institutionernas publicerade material samt transkriberade intervjuer med tre pedagoger. Mitt syfte är att undersöka talet om hälsoeffekter av konst bland i första hand pedagogerna själva från utvalda institutioner som på olika sätt arbetar hälsofrämjande.Studien är etnografisk kvalitativ.Resultaten visade att pedagogerna beskrev sinsemellan liknande observationer gällande konstens påverkan och klientens reaktioner, kommunicerande och producerande av bilder.

Den språkliga medvetenheten börjar utvecklas så snart en människa har förmåga att ta intryck från omvärlden och utvecklas genom samtal,språklekar och sagor. Språklig medvetenhet är en förutsättning för att kunna lära sig läsa och skriva. Läsutvecklingen sker i flera steg och startar långt innan den verkliga läsningen. Jag ville genom mitt examensarbete få veta mera om hur jag som lärare kan hjälpa barn att lära sig läsa och skriva. Det är en nödvändig kunskap i mitt framtida yrkesliv som lärare.

There are about 3 500 churches protected under the Heritage Conservation Act in Sweden today. These churches still belong to living congregations that want to be able to adapt them to the needs of today, just like people have done throughout history. But since the churches are protected, the congregations have to apply for a permit and that is not always given. This can lead to frustration, and you can sometimes hear representatives of the church express the view that antiquarian authorities are enemies that oppose the church. On the other hand we have the antiquarian authorities that, in a way, have to act as advocates for generations to come and make sure that there is a cultural heritage preserved for them when they grow up.

Swedish Encyclopaedias and the Explanatory Perspective of History, Essay in History AbstractIn my essay I describe how Swedish 20th century encyclopaedias interpret the coming about of the British Empire, the overall purpose being to establish a pattern of evolution in terms of historical understanding on the part of the encyclopaedic literature. Firstly, I have tried to determine whether the presentations at all constitute explanatory efforts. In those cases where they do, I have sought to ascertain whether the reasons put forward are to be understood as structural and stable, or as matters of less permanence. I have also tried to link these interpretations to significant ?constructions? of history ? i.

The aim of this study is to create an increased understanding of shared leadership and how it takes shape in the relationship between first-line managers in human service organizations. Shared leadership is seen as a complement to the traditional one-man leadership and briefly means that two managers share the role that usually is held by a single leader. The study has a qualitative approach based on semi-structured interviews with managers in human service organizations. The interviews mention the mangers thoughts and experiences about shared leadership and gain approval in the hermeneutic science field. The study is analyzed based on symbolic interactionism where perspectives from the theoreticians Mead and Goffman are used.
