The purpose of our research is to explore the investigation process of the cases of unaccompanied children by the social authorities. We present both national and international legal documents which are of importance to subject we have chosen. We also aim to study how these are put into practice by social authorities. This can help us to identify the problems and shortcomings in social authorities` practices in dealing with unaccompanied children?s cases.

Att varje förskola ska erbjuda en likvärdig verksamhet var den än anordnas i landet, är ett av de kraven från Skollagen. Vi undrar om skillnaden mellan stadsförskolors verksamhet och landsortsförskolors verksamhet är synlig genom deras arbetsplan. Påverkas förskolans verksamhet och förskollärarnas arbetssätt av det geografiska läget?Genom att göra intervjuer med förskollärarna kan vi se om deras metoder går hand i hand med deras lokala arbetsplaner. Med en sammanställning av de aktuella förskolornas arbetsplaner har vi gjort likheter och skillnader mellan stadsförskolor och landsortsförskolor synliga.Undersökningens resulterade inte som vi förväntat oss.

Många välgörenhetsorganisationer har idag second hand-butiker knutna till sin verksamhet som ett sätt att omvandla gåvor till likvida medel som doneras till välgörande ändamål. Detta innebär att organisationerna måste arbeta aktivt med sin varumärkesidentitet för att kunna särskilja sig från andra aktörer på marknaden. Författarna till denna uppsats har försökt klargöra varumärkesidentiteten hos Röda Korsets mötesplats Kupan som bedriver försäljning av second hand. Inom teorier och tidigare forskning betonar man vikten av att varumärkesinnehavare måste veta vad som kännetecknar deras varumärke och vad det skall förmedla, annars finns risken att konsumenterna får svårt att bilda en tydlig uppfattning utav varumärket. Det önskade scenariot är att varumärkesinnehavaren och konsumentmarknaden skall uppfatta varumärket likadant.

Begreppet livssituation är stort och kan omfatta många företeelser. Syftet med denna undersökning var att belysa hur livssituationen för föräldrar med hemmaboende vuxna utvecklingsstörda barn har förändrats när dessa har flyttat hemifrån. Som anhörig kan man vara både avlönad och oavlönad anhörigvårdare, men i den här studien är de i första hand föräldrar och i andra hand anhörigvårdare anser informanterna. I studien har åtta personer intervjuats och deras barn har olika grader av utvecklingsstörning och har flyttat till eget boende för ett antal år sedan. Deltagarna har mycket tydligt beskrivit hur livssituationen hade förändrats från att de har varit styrda av klockan, inte fått sova en hel natt till att de kan bestämma över sin tid och kan slappna av när de ser att deras vuxna utvecklingsstörda barn har det bra.

AbstractRelationships between white women and black men have become a topic of interest in various discussion forums. By examining different arguments within certain discourses, it becomes clear that discourses that have a distinct autocrat outline, i.e. a closed and declaring nature which excludes alternative discursive arguments, also define these relationships as different and deviant in comparison to relationships that does not encompass and include the constellation white women and black men. As a result of the use of autocrat discourses the white women and black men who enter into relationships are displaced and positioned as subaltern. A position which, on the one hand, allows for uninhibited criticism, but, on the other hand, and most importantly, it is a position from where they can be defined by others.

AbstractThis essay discusses the negotiation of the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) and the process that led up to a signed agreement. The CTBT forbids all nuclear weapon test explosions and all other types of nuclear explosions. The purpose of the study was to distinguish the critical steps of the negotiations that resulted in the success of the CTBT. Based on these insights, my intention was to identify relevant events and actors in the process around the Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT), which has been on the nuclear disarmament agenda for over a decade. Furthermore, my ambition was that the examination of the CTBT negotiation would give me some clarity in what the next step would be to get the FMCT back on track.

When children are hospitalized they will face a new and unknown environment. Many children experience this situation as stressful and with fear. It is important that the nurse is aware of this fact in order to facilitate the hospitalization for the child. The purpose of this study is to investigate the fear that children feel when they are hospitalized, and to investigate the meaning of being well prepared for clinical examinations and procedures. The method used was a literature review.

This thesis has been done in collaboration with Peab Stockholm Building 3, which is a region within the Peab Sverige AB. The report is based on a survey and studies of Peab business management systems and production literature. For general information gathering has literature from well-known sources collected in libraries and through the Internet. It shows through the work that Peab has routines for experience feedback in the construction process, but that these procedures work in a small scale and the practical work experience feedback does not work at all. This is also something the construction industry in general also perceived as problematic. The questions in the report are of a wide scale and concerns construction errors cost, how the employees perceive that the company takes advantage of the skills and the mental stress in production line. The goal is to find how Peab Stockholm Building 3 will work on the experience feedback to allow for better productivity. In conclusion, the report author tries to demonstrate what can lead to increased productivity and improved work experience..

Background: Postoperative infections are a serious patient safety problem and affects about 3 % of all patients undergoing surgery. The consequences are prolonged hospital stays, high social costs, increased use of antibiotics and impaired quality of life for the patient. It has been shown that postoperative infections may be caused by contamination already in the operating room. Today we know that there is growth of microorganisms on the instrument table´s top, but there is a research gap about the instrument table's edges.Aim: To examine if the sterile drape on the instrument table´s edges are sterile after finished surgery.Method: Contact plates are printed on strategically selected areas on the sterile drapes top and edges. In the pilot study, a total of 51 cultures were taken at the end of three operations which lasted over three hours.Results: Growth on the top surface and the edges of the sterile drape were detected.

Detta projekt, i kursen Examensarbete i teknisk design, produktionsdesign vid Luleå tekniska universitet, har utförts på Scania CV AB i Södertälje mellan januari och juni 2014. Utöver denna rapport presenterades projektet både vid Luleå tekniska universitet och vid Scania CV AB. Fokus i arbetet var att ta fram en metod för riskbedömning avseende hand- och armvibrationer hos handhållna verktyg som är anpassad för Scanias produktionsverksamhet i Sverige. Målet var att Scania på ett enhetligt sätt ska ha kontroll över vibrationsexponeringen som arbetstagarna utsätts för, i enlighet med kraven från Arbetsmiljöverkets föreskrift, AFS 2005:15 ? Vibrationer, där insats- och gränsvärdet är 2,5 m/s2 respektive 5,0 m/s2.

To which extent elderly people at nursing homes have an influence on their daily living is currently debated. Studies have shown that they have limited influence due to restricting routines associated with nursing homes. Therefore the aim of this study was to examine how elderly people experience the ability to influence their daily living at nursing homes and how limited influence is revealed in the daily care. Five elderly people, from four different nursing homes, underwent a structured interview. The outcome of the interviews was analyzed in relation to established theories related to geriatric care.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to investigate how actors involved in a municipal's adult education view students access to information- and library resources. The adult education in the municipal is on contract which means that there are several different actors involved in the realization of the adult education. The raised questions in this study deals with; libraries role within adult education, students needs for becoming information literate and where responsibilities for students access to libraries lies. We used a qualitative method which includes interviews with two principles, a controller, three pedagogues and a librarian. The empirical data is analysed against taxonomies and categories which originates from the theories of David Loertscher and Christine Bruce.

The study presented here is about how to make the special needs user who has a profound intellectual disability and additional disabilities more involved in their implementation plan. Based on a life story interview the study aims at analyzing perceptions of procedures to enhance special needs users? influence. The method used in this study was a qualitative research approach as an overall approach in order to use a narrative method where life history is the method. The focus has been to study a part of an individual life history - a specific domain in the life of the interviewee?s working career.

The study aimed to evaluate picture communication during clinical as-sessment and intervention procedures in paediatric care. As part of the project KomHIT (Augmentative communication in paediatric health care settings) care professionals at different care units were provided with education and designed pictorial supports. These consisted of appointment letters with pictorial support, visual schedules and communication boards with both general and specific vocabulary. Care professionals and parents to children with and without communication disabilities participated. Survey data from care professionals and parents at five care units was supplemented with qualitative data from an interview with a multiprofessional group at one of the care units.
