This Master?s thesis has governmental cultural policy in focus and concludes a textual idea analysis of the governmental bill Time for culture. (Tid för kultur.) The aim of the study is to examine how the government is seeking legitimacy concerning the cultural policy. One of the starting points is that the society has changed over time in terms of for example increased globalization and multicultural and even the market adjustment is more evident. Also the economical basis in the society is different nowadays.

Syftet med vårt arbete var att fördjupa oss i några läs- och skrivinlärningsmetoder genom en litteraturstudie av syntetiska och analytiska metoder. Vi ville även ta reda på svenska respektive finska lärares motiv bakom val av metoder, samt deras tankar kring PISA-undersökningens resultat (2003) där det framkom att finska elever har en bättre läsförmåga. Bakgrunden behandlar följande områden: styrdokument i Sverige och i Finland, svensk läs- och skrivinlärnings historia, barnets språk, språklig medvetenhet, filosofers tankar, läs- och skrivutveckling, syntetiska och analytiska metoder, samt forskares syn på barns läs- och skrivinlärning. Vi valde att utföra en kvalitativ undersökning med förutbestämda frågeområden, där följdfrågorna varierade. Intervjuerna genomfördes med tre finska och två svenska lärare i år 1?3.

Studien utforskade de närståendes livsvärld när partnern drabbats av Alzheimers sjukdom. Deras livsvärld och existentiella villkor var i fokus. Studien utgick från ett existentiellt fenomenologiskt tolkande perspektiv. Den teoretiska grunden bestod av ett tänkande kring de närståendes livsvärld utifrån fyra existentialer: det levda rummet, den levda tiden, den levda kroppen och den levda relationen. Datainsamling skedde utifrån Max van Manens utforskande intervjuer med tio närstående, fem kvinnor och fem män i yrkesverksam ålder 40 till 64 år, de levde alla tillsammans med en partner som fått sin diagnos för ett år sedan eller längre.

Avsikten med vårt arbete var att bidra med kunskap om specialpedagogens syn på sitt uppdrag vad gäller handledningssituationen samt hur specialpedagogen kan agera då en konflikt uppstår i handledningssituationen.

Det här arbetet utgör en av fyra delar i ett projekt om Sorgenfri industriområde. Detta examensarbetes undersökningsobjekt är småföretag (0-49 anställda). Syftet har varit att undersöka hur småföretag som hyr lokaler inom Sorgenfri industriområde vill att området skall vitaliseras samt vilka möjligheter dessa småföretag tycker att de har att påverka stadsdelen Sorgenfri. Arbetets övergripande slutsats är att problemet i första hand gäller hur kapaciteter som redan finns i Sorgenfri industriområde kan organiseras till en sammansatt policy (strategi), inte om resurserna som sådana är tillräckliga..

The purpose of this study is to explain how shame can be experienced by women with the stigmatizing illness of alcoholism. Another aim is to illustrate how this shame can be affected in social interaction with others and by other circumstances. The following questions will be highlighted in this essay: How can shame be experienced by female alcoholics? What can affect shame in interaction with other people, from the view of female alcoholics? What other circumstances can affect the shame, from the view of female alcoholics?This study features interviews with women who have successfully gone through the process of rehabilitation from the illness of alcoholism, have a long going and stable sobriety and arecurrently part of the work force. The study also features interviews with therapists specializing in the field of addiction recovery and have considerable experience in their fieldof working with women suffering from alcoholism.The subject matters shame and stigma form the theoretical/analytical tools for this research.

The topic of this thesis interest is the relation between branding as a place making/marketing technology and the process of regionalization. The main proposition advocated is that the officially communicated image of the Øresund Region, as a cohesive place and community, is a space that has been configured with branding and can be described as a territorial simulation. The concept of territorial simulation consists of two conjoined terms: simulation which aim at explaining the idiosyncratic brand image, as a social formation, which does not represent the place it imitates but commoditise it; and territorial which seeks to visualize the process of the unfolding of this image as a territory. The main argument is made in the third chapter, which traces the process of actualization of the brand image as a territory: ?Øresund?.

The aim with this independent degree project of master thesis is to find what the user opinions of the intranet in a county council is. The paper seeks how the question about how the culture in the organisation was affected by the use of the intranet. An important part is to explore the expectations and acceptance of the intranet and get a picture of which functions and services support day-to-day work with good quality. One goal is to find out how the intranet users feel that the communication, information and usability can be developed.The focus group interview is a qualitative method that has been applied for gathering data from the respondents, who participate in the investigation from the county council. The used method is unstructured focus groups containing the three dominating categories of staff in the county council.

Denna kontraktsekonomiska studie behandlar fotbollsklubben och företaget Manchester United, en av världens största och framgångsrika klubbar alla kategorier. Syftet med uppsatsen är att dels kartlägga Manchester Uniteds kontraktsnät, dels att begripliggöra de kontraktsrelationer som särskiljer Manchester United från vanliga nuvärdesmaximerande företag utifrån kontraktsekonomisk teori. Den ekonomiska teori som ihuvudsak används i uppsatsen är kontraktsekonomisk teori som innefattar teorier om kontraktsnät, principal-agentrelationer och transaktionskostnader. Uppsatsen tar främst upp det som skiljer Manchester United från ett traditionellt företag. Nordmaling is a small muncipality that has gotten a lot of critic in media over the last two years. In order to regain a good reputation and to communicate a strong message towards external groups, Nordmaling have decided to develop a branding platform that can represent the organization in both external and internal communications. In order to develop a brand the organization must understand its identity.The purpose of the study was to examine the employees? thoughts of their organization in order to be able to define the organizational identity and give recommendations of core values that the organization can apply to their brand. To understand how the employees perceive their organization and what they think the organization stands for, the main focus was to study their view on values, standards, goals and vision of the organization through focus interviews and a survey.

This thesis includes a description of the project flow for our projects at Semcon. The emphasis is on designing a manual for elMaster Concept.The project flow provides several minor and major elements plotting schedules for this project and the establishment of a manual. When a schedule is drawn, lists and tables with components and connections can be created. This is done to better manage drawings and make changes. These diagrams and tables are used in product manufacturing, testings, controls.

En av de svåraste uppgifterna en sjuksköterska kan stå inför i ett akutläge är att både ta hand om patient och närstående. Då all kraft fokuseras på den vårdkrävande patienten är det av förklarliga skäl som närstående kan hamna i skymundan. Att som ambulanspersonal efter avslutad behandling ta sig an de närstående i deras kaosartade situation åskådliggörs i denna studie vars syfte är att belysa ambulanspersonals erfarenheter och strategier i mötet med närstående i samband med plötsliga dödsfall i hemmet.För att på ett öppet sätt försöka förstå beskrivna situationer så valdes det en kvalitativ intervju som metod. Då metoden var bestämd kontaktades två verksamhetschefer vilka godkände genomförandet av studien. Urvalskriterierna för informanterna var sjuksköterskekompetens, minst fem års ambulanserfarenhet samt intresse av att medverka.

Undersökningens syfte är att ta reda på hur datoranvändning vid skrivprov påverkar elevtexters kvalitet. 37 handskrivna och 37 datorskrivna elevtexter från skrivprov jämförs utifrån både kvantitativa och kvalitativa aspekter. Texterna är skrivna av elever från det tekniska programmet i gymnasiet årskurs 3.Jämförelsen mellan elevernas handskrivna och datorskrivna texter visar att de datorskrivna texterna är längre, går snabbare att skriva och har en mer korrekt styckeindelning. De datorskrivna texterna får något högre omdöme vad gäller innehållet i texterna men de bedöms språkligt inte vara bättre än de handskrivna. Skillnaderna är små när det gäller texternas disposition.Skillnaderna mellan texterna är dock inte tillräckligt stora för att det ska påverka betygsbedömningen när den sker med den fyragradiga betygsskalan (IG ? MVG) utan betygsresultatet blir lika för de två grupperna.
