Abstract Etel Fredriksson och Elin Friman (2010) De första mötena på dagen, en studie om möten mellan pedagoger och barn i förskolans hall. Undersökningens syfte är att genom ett genusperspektiv synliggöra pedagogernas bemötande gentemot barnen, samt deras tankar om detta. Frågeställningarna är, hur bemöter pedagogerna barnen vid ankomst till förskolan? Samt, hur tänker pedagoger kring bemötandet av barn vid ankomst till förskolan? Studien bygger på material från intervjuer med tre pedagoger samt observationer av 12 barn mellan cirka ett och fyra år på en förskola i södra Sverige. I texten används material från fem observationstillfällen och från tre intervjuer som är genomförda på förskolan. Centrala slutsatser är att pedagogerna lägger stor vikt vid barnens personligheter och att pedagogerna tycker det är viktigt att de har ett positivt beteende i mötet med barnen. SammanfattningSyfte och frågeställningSyftet med studien är att undersöka vilken betydelse idrottshallens utformning har avseende lärande, lek och fysisk aktivitet i ämnet idrott och hälsa för elever i grundskolan på fem skolor.Hur upplever läraren att idrottshallen fungerar för undervisningen?MetodUndersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av metoden kvalitativ intervju på fem skolor i Stockholm. Skolorna kallas i studien för Nordskolan (F-6), Östskolan (F-3), Sydskolan (F-9), Västskolan (F-3) och Centrumskolan (F-9). En lärare i idrott och hälsa intervjuades på respektive skola. Lärarna kallas för Nora, Olga, Siri, Vera och Cissi.ResultatNord-, Syd- och Centrumskolans idrottshall är stor till golvytan, cirka 24x48 meter, och när varje hall delas av med en vikvägg är vardera halva cirka 24x24 meter.

In May 2010 the plans for Malmö?s new Concert Hall, Conference Centre and Hotel were announced publically. The purpose of this thesis was to present strategy for communication in order to gain approval for the new concert and conference center from the inhabitants inMalmö and to incorporate the use of it in their everyday life.Material from the receiver?s as well as the sender?s perspective has been collected from qualitative interviews. Through group interviews we have investigated the general consensus of the inhabitants of Malmö regarding the investment, placing, offered events, expectations as well as how they collected information.

Gunnebo House and Gardens was designed during the late 18th century by architect Carl Wilhelm Carlberg as a summer residence for the wealthy merchant John Hall Sr. and his family. The garden consists of formal garden, kitchen garden and English park. For the first two parts several original drawings have been preserved and here a lot of restoration work has been carried out. This paper aims to examine how the English park might have been implemented during John Hall Sr.?s time and to create a plant scheme for the area called ?Engelska kullen? (The English hill).

SUMMARY This pilot study tried to answer the question however the present animal welfare regulations for horses regarding lying hall area requirements are adequate for horses older than 24 months. The study was carried out at one of the largest stud farms for standard bred horses in Sweden. Mares in late pregnancy with an initial mean age of 10 years was used in a behaviour study. The influence of varying space per animal in a loose-housing system on behaviours like the horses' lying hall use, standing, resting, moving behaviour and threats was studied. The behaviour at three different horse densities ? 18 mares, 13 mares and 8 mares (7.4 m2, 10.3 m2 and 16.7 m2 per mare, respectively) ? was recorded by use of video.

The purpose of this study was to find out how swedish newspapers writes about Lettland during 2005-2009, who gets to speak in media, which key words being used, and if the news articles content changes over the years. As a basis for my discussion I?ve used Stuart Hall's theories for representation and language. In the same litterature, Hall presents theories for stereotypes and power from different researchers which I have studied for this study. I?ve also used Van Ginnekens theory about who may be heard in media.

Vårt intresse för hallen väcktes under våra praktiktillfällen. Vi har under dessa upplevt att det finns olika gränser i hallen, vissa mer synliga än andra. Hallen har dessutom karaktär av både inne och ute samt är ett gränsland mellan hemmet och förskolan. Detta kan ibland medföra att det kan bli otydligt vilka regler som gäller för stunden. Idag tillbringar de flesta barn i Sverige sina första år i förskolan.

This study analyses two non-western novels used in the subject of Swedish in upper secondary school: Fatou Diomes The Belly of the Atlantic and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichies Half a Yellow Sun. Looking at how the books female main character relate to Stuart Halls theory of cultural identity, I come to the conclusion that they somewhat differently relate to an essential ?authentic? self. Salie talks explicit about a generic African soul that she possesses. Olanna never talks about anything ?authentic?, but her narrative and contrary subject positions can be read as a way of demasking her European ?white? self in favour of a truer Igbo self.

The Animal Protection Agency was in 2006, commissioned by the Government to: Evaluate how free range animals in the winter, can be kept and managed with special emphasis to animal welfare. The Animal Protection Agency was closed later in 2006 and the commission moved to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. The keeping of free range out wintered cattle, certain basic requirement are needed: by regulation, cattle should have access to a lying hall or other building that gives protection against aversive weather and wind and should offer a dry and clean lying area. There is a possibility for farmers that get an exemption from this regulation. But cases regarding farms which have had difficulties for this exemption has led to a discussion about if the animals can get the same protection in the nature which is comparable to a lying- hall.

This thesis deals with the design of a combinated rescue-, personal-, and firefighting elevator for a nuclear waste storage facility to be constructed by the client SKB, Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB. SKB:s mission is to dispose of all nuclear waste from all swedish nuclear power plants. The storage facility will be built in the rock 450 m under the surface and will consist of several kilometers of tunnel where capsules containing the nuclear waste will be placed. It will also hold a central area which contains spaces necessary for the operation and construction of the facility, such as elevator hall, storage hall etc. The facility will have two ways of access: a vehicle ramp and an elevator shaft.
