Att välja rätt entry mode har en stor påverkan på om företaget kommer att nå framgång eller ej på den nya marknaden.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka olika faktorer som påverkar småföretag val av entry mode vid expansion.

Chalmers University of Technology today have numerous computers which are never powereddown, at the same time there is a need for more computation power for researchers.Hence, we have investigated the possibility to use the computers for computing power andsecondly, if there is no work to be done, to put them into power saving mode.We have made a thorough study where we compared different distributing systems andin the end HTCondor was chosen as the best to implement. HTCondor is an excellent systemfor opportunistic use of computing power, i.e. make use of computers that no one elseis currently using. The system is used at several universities around the world with goodresults and would be excellent at Chalmers, where there is a need for such a system.Our implementation shows that HTCondor is well capable of handling unused computingpower. HTCondor can handle most file types that may be run on the system.

Normally the operational amplifier is used as a component in active filter design. The goal for future components in filter design is large bandwith and the use of low supply voltages. The use of current-mode instead of voltage-mode circuits gets a step closer to the required performance. A component that use current as the signal conveying part is the current conveyor. In this report a comparative study between two current conveyor structures of second generation (CCII) is performed.

Syfte: Studiens syfte ?r att unders?ka hur modef?retag kan jobba med h?llbar utveckling inom modebranschen. Metod: En kvalitativ metod har till?mpats d?r studiens datainsamling best?r av semi-strukturerade intervjuer samt offline observationer. Slutsats: V?ra resultat tyder p? att modef?retag borde till?mpa CF-modellen d? den p?pekar hur modef?retag borde endast v?lja ett typ av material f?r att underl?tta kl?dernas demonteringsprocess.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga hur ett tänkbart samband mellan mode och varumärke kan se ut i modeföretag. Metod: En kvalitativ studie med ett abduktivt angreppssätt. Slutsatser: Sambandet mellan mode och marknadsföring i modeföretag är mycket starkt, även om branschen i sig, historiskt sett inte agerat som om så vore fallet. Samverkansarbete har under det senaste decenniet genomgående förändrats bland svenska högskolor på grund av bland annat lagändringar, samhällsförändringar och internationell påverkan. År 1997 instiftades en samverkanslag i högskolelagen vid namn den tredje uppgiften. Den tredje uppgiften är idag en naturlig del bland svenska högskolor och syftar till samverkan av utbildning och forskning med det omgivande samhället. Diskussionen har varit omfattande när det gäller hur samhället och högskolan tjänar på att samverka, på vilket sätt det ska ske och hur man på ett konkret sätt kan påvisa de bästa tillvägagångssätten. This report deals with the performance of a batch flow treatment of landfillleachate compared with a continuous flow system. The parameters in focus were total Kjeldahl nitrogen (TKN), BOD5 and COD. The pilot-scale experiment used eight barrels with a volume of 150 liters. Each barrel was constructed differently concerning its flow, its bed material grain size and its presence of plants or not. Four of the barrels worked in batch mode, thus four in continuous flow mode.

The purpose of our essay is to develop an understanding and an insight for the fashion industry. We want to examine what the creative industries can learn from the unique position that fashion hold in a field between commercialization and art. We used a theoretical ground to enlarge our understanding for the distinctive place that fashion holds. To gain further insight in the fashion industry we complete the theory with empirical facts. The empirical facts were collected through a qualitative method with deep-going interviews.

The fashion industry in Kenya is slowly growing. The middleclass is getting bigger and theinterest for fashion among these consumers is increasing. One major problem for the growthof the industry is the extensive second hand trade, which has given several problematicaffects. The textile production has almost disappeared, the western influences are evident andthe consumer?s price sensitivity is prominent.The aim of this thesis is, by conducting a field study; to qualitative examine how to develop astrong domestic fashion brand on the Kenyan market and to give a foundation for a brandingstrategy for people involved within fashion in Kenya.

Uppsatsen behandlar hur modet sprids till och mellan flickor i förtonåren, ett område som enligt oss hittills är otillräckligt utforskat. För att ringa in ämnet har vi valt att behandla kända teorier om både modespridning och generell spridning. Även teorier om barnkonsumtion behandlas i uppsatsen. För att komplettera dessa sekundära källor har vi utfört kvalitativa intervjuer med fem flickor i åldern tio till tolv år. Under intervjuerna diskuterades hur flickorna får inspiration i sin modeadoption och vem som har störst betydelse för hur de uppfattar och tar till sig mode.

Recently, researchers have begun to voice concerns about the potential risks if we do not address the inherent biases in these systems. After all, AI is merely code based on mathematics produced by humans. This essay focuses on Stable Diffusion and Midjourney to examine biases in fashion representation and how fashion is visualized and reproduced concerning race, social class, and culture. A series of prompts were intentionally written in simple terms such as ?rich,? ?poor,? and ?race.? The results revealed troubling biases, as these programs consistently depicted poor individuals as people of color and portrayed wealthy, elegantly dressed individuals as exclusively white..
