The aim of this study is to examine the experienced life situations of siblings growing up with a brother or a sister diagnosed with autism. The study is qualitative and therefore suitable to the purpose of studying the informants´ own experiences. Three women and one man, aged between 18-24 years, were interviewed through chatt programs on the Internet. The constituted perspective is phenomenological and the analysis were made by identifying meaning units in the text from the interviews. The theory used to interpret the result is systems theory and more specifically the structual family therapy by Salvador Minuchin.

Reindeer husbandry and Forestry are both area related industries and will in big extent use the same lands. Conflicts often arise because of that the industries have different interests. Many of the activities done by the forestry influences the reindeer husbandry in an undesirable way, simultaneously as the reindeer husbandry activities can have negative consequences for the forestry. One such forestry activity is fertilization. This literature study deals with the pig industry and how group size and available floor area affects the animal welfare and the production results. It shows that both the pigs? welfare and production result can be affected negatively if the environment seems stressful for the pigs, and if they are housed in a narrow area. The global wood pellet market has seen a rapid Growth after the adoption of the Kyoto protocol and the renewable energy incentives created within the European Union. The global consumption of wood pellets reached 13,5 million tonnes in 2010 and several experts estimate the consumption to be between 35-50 million tonnes by 2020. These forescasts raise the questions which regions that can supply this vast amount of wood pellets and what the conditions are for producing it. This study evaluates the conditions for wood pellet production and export from British Columbia, on Canada?s west coast, focusing on existing industry structure, raw material supply and the distribution chain.

The point of this study is to present how youths today experience fellowship and deviancy in relation to the different themes that have been chosen to interpret the results. I have treated questions about family, friends, experience of fellowship and deviancy. I have chosen to interview five young adult women and men in order to be able to understand their experiences of fellowship and deviancy. The study has a qualitative approach.In order to be able to interpret the result I have used theories about symbolic interaction, normality and meaning of fellowship. The results show that family is an important part of fellowship and that fellowship means much to form a conception about oneself.

Detta arbete undersöker frågan om hur man kan gå tillväga för att skapa en känsla av liv i en postapokalyptisk spelvärld med hjälp av färger, former och animationer i en egen spelproduktion. Arbetet tar upp flera teorier kring spelutveckling, post-apokalyptisk fiktion och färglära. Arbetet tar också upp verktyg som användes i produktionen av det spel som skapades och hur arbetet fortskred. Diskussionen som följer tar upp hur metoderna som användes påverkade resultatet och vad resultatet blev, samt hur man gick tillväga för att tolka det. Slutsatsen som dras i diskussionen visar att det är möjligt att skapa en känsla av liv i en postapokalyptisk spelvärld i en egen produktion och hur man kan förbättra de metoder som använts i en eventuell uppföljning av detta arbete.

The aim of child health care is to promote health and development for all children, to early identify problems that concern children´s Growth and development and to prevent ill-health among children. Today in our society the proportion of children who are underweight are few.The aim with this study was to describe paediatric nurses experience in meeting with underweight children and their parents. Interviews were implemented and analyzed according to qualitative content analysis. Focus was placed on looking at differences and interpretations in the text content. The analyse resulted in six main categories, such as a need of sensitivity and a holistic view from the nurse, difficulties in handling the meeting because lack of tools.

Botswana has reached economic Growth and democracy and Sierra Leone has not.The purpose with this study is to explain why Botswana is more democratic and has reached a better result economic than Sierra Leone.The questions in this study are:What explains the democratic and the economic results in Sierra Leone and Botswana?* Dahl?s institutions that furthers a polyarchy?* Gunnarsson?s and Rojas? institutional explanations?* Diamond?s and Morlino?s ?rule of law??* Other explanations or a combination of the above-mentioned explanations?The method that has been used in this study is a comparative case study with a qualitative contents analysis. The result is that it?s hard to say that one explanation is the right one.

The objective of this thesis is to examine the capital structure of Swedish small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Accounting data from Swedish game developers, combined with the result from a survey, is used to examine their financial conditions and capital structure decisions. We find that non-debt tax shield, firm size, Growth opportunities and age are, to various extents, the determinants of capital structure in the game industry, while effective tax rate and asset structure have marginal effects. Our study also implicates that most of the existing capital structure theories can explain SMEs leverage decisions to some extent; however, some adaptation is needed to fit these theories into the SME context. Additionally, we find the existence of a financial gap in the game industry which might need efforts from both demand side and supply side to eliminate..

This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic Growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.
