This study contains how pre-school teachers talk about their mission as tutors and their assignments to educate student teachers in relation to the document that contains information concerning practice-based learning. The students are involved in communities of practice regarding pre-schools for children between one year and five years old. The pre-school teachers will share their daily work and pedagogical responsibility in the activities, meaning that the students are expected to show social engagement in interaction between children and adults. When teachers from the University visit the pre-school, the students are supposed to have a lesson or activity with the pupils in the practice class. And afterwards the students, the pre-school teachers and the teacher from University together have a developing discuss about the outcome objectives that the students are supposed to reach during the practice.

In Europe, the central governments are the ones to coordinate the international standards and strategies regarding GPP; Green Public Procurement. However in Spain a GPP program was introduced late and only applied to the Central Government Institutions, (AGEA) (BOE nr. 027, 2008). These means that smaller administrations, such as, Autonomous Regions, Municipalities and Town Councils were not included in the program. The absence of a national program which excludes those governments made them introduce their own criteria for GPP, and the difference in criteria varies from one government to the other.

In today's society, the internet is an important part of everyday life. Over recent years the number of electronic services has increased markedly. Communities such as Facebook, consume more of people's time than 5-10 years ago. How can public authorities benefit from these communities or are the municipalities not ready for this? The municipalities determine how their resources should be allocated based on the municipality's needs.

Arbetslösa ungdomar är ett problem i dagens samhälle och kunskaperna om de projekt som finns om ungdomsprojektens innehåll, vilka deltagarna är, vilka resultat som uppnås och hur de uppnås är liten. Syftet med denna uppsats är att få en ökad förståelse för hur ett ungdomsprojekt kan påverkar en individ och se vad olika insatser kan ge för effekter och hur denna effekt uppstår hos individen. Syftet besvarades genom att finna svar på följande frågeställningar:? Vad anser de intervjuade före detta deltagare i Green Team varit betydande insatser?? Vilka effekter har dessa insatser haft på deltagarna?? Hur kan det förklaras att insatserna gett de effekter som uppstått? Kvalitativa intervjuer valdes som metod för att svara på frågeställningarna då det krävdes för att få informantens egen upplevelse av sin situation innan, under och efter Green Team. Två före detta deltagare i projektet Green Team intervjuades.

I dagens samhälle där allt fler lever ett liv via elektronik och Internet på olika virtuellacommunities finns det en risk för att ett samhällsproblem ska uppstå. Internetavtalenpå de flesta communities blir inte lästa, användarna på de olika sajterna agerar därförutan att veta vilka regler och riktlinjer som ska följas. Utan vetskap om vad som står iavtalen kan användare omedvetet bryta mot reglerna eller bli utsatta för risker somkunde ha undvikts genom den enkla åtgärden som att läsa avtalen som annars baragodkänns vid registrering av ett användarkonto. Genom en informationsinsamling avteori kring avtal, virtuella communities, risk management, webbdesign, softwarequality assurance och människa-dator-interaktion skapades en bakgrund för att medhjälp av den kunskapen kunna ge ett förslag till morgondagens Internetavtal som kanskydda både användare och ägare. Med kunskapen från teori som grund granskadessedan dagens avtal på Facebook, YouTube och MySpace.

In this diploma work the approach of determining the required amount of reinforcement in slabs exposed to pure tension is processed, on behalf of Ramböll Uppsala. It is a well-known problem in the industry that there are uncertainties in the determining of the amount of crack reinforcement, especially for structures exposed to pure tension. Cracking caused during the time of dehydration in concrete slabs is the most common defect according to statistics made by CBI[1], which provides numbers as high as 35 % of all the defects caused on slabs are generated by cracks. Comparisons between Sweden's former national standard BBK 04, Building Regulations for concrete structures due to restrained forces of shrinkage, and the current European standard Eurocode 2 are carried out through theoretical studies and concludes with several examples of calculations. Rigorous calculations of both standards, BBK 04 and Eurocode 2 with application of the national annex in Sweden and Denmark are performed.

The aim with this master?s thesis is to examine the information practices and information literacies among social workers in the field of the social services and in the work with child welfare investigations. This is in this study related to their ambition to fulfill the requirements of an evidence-based practice. On a theoretical level, the study is based on three theories grounded in the idea of situated learning and of human activities based in a social context. These are the sociocultural theory, the theory of communities of practices and the theory of information practices.

Problem definition and purpose: A debated question in journalism today is if the mass media have the power to affect norms and values in the society. There are therefore many who believe that the media must works for democratic and equitable news coverage. Studies have shown that there are still many differences in how women and men are being portrayed in the Swedish media, even if Sweden is one of the most equal countries in the world. This inequality may affect the democracy and equality in the society negative.Previous studies have mainly been using gender as the only explanatory factor to explain the difference of coverage between men and women in the news content. The purpose of this study will therefore not only be to compare the coverage of the Green Partys two spokespersons, Åsa Romson and Gustav Fridolin, from a gender perspective but also to take in count other factors that could contribute to differences in the news coverage.Method and material: To find an answer to the purpose of this thesis a quantitative content analysis have been done on a total of 238 news articles in which Åsa Romson and/or Gustav Fridolin occur.Main results: The results of the content analysis show that Gustav Fridolin occurs more frequently in the news than Romson does, and that the articles he appears in is lager than the articles in which Romson appears.

Responsible production is a subject of increasing importance for companies toadopt and communicate to their environment and many companies choose to implementenvironmental ? and ethic considerations into their brand strategy. There is, however, adividing line between companies according to what extent they choose to implementresponsible production into their brand strategy and to which extent they choose tocommunicate it to their stakeholders and surroundings. It is the hypothesis about a dividingline that is the foundation for this essay and something we believed could be interesting forfurther analysis.The purpose of our essay is to find out how the brand strategy of a company is affected by theresponsible production and in what extent they communicate it to their environment. Byanswering those questions we hope to find out why some companies communicateresponsible production more actively than others.We have conducted in-depth interviews with the Swedish clothing companies; MariaWesterlind, Zion and Dem Collective and we have through our analysis reached interestingconclusions.

Gävle beräknas inom de kommande åren växa med cirka 500 invånare per år, vilket måste avspeglas i satsningar på bostäder, arbete och service. Fastigheten Skeppsbyggaren, mer känd som Philipsontomten, bär anor från svunna industriepoker och har sedan mitten av 1990-talet stått oexploaterad. Genom att närma sig vattnet med en alltmer publik verksamhet och bostäder kan kvarteret Skeppsbyggaren medföra en förtätning samt utvidgning av de centrala delarna i Gävle. Vidare kan fastigheten bli ett bidrag till en redan värdefull kulturmiljö, något som bör ligga i både invånarnas, kommunens och ägaren CA Fastigheters intresse.Vårt arbete har gått ut på att projektera ett miljöcertifierat gestaltningsförslag för Skeppsbyggaren som bidrar till en hållbar stadsutveckling och en positiv exponering av Gävle som stad. Att miljöcertifiera byggnader är något som vunnit mark de senaste åren, men vid projektering av hela bostadsområden finns ett värde i att ta ett ytterligare steg och behandla hållbarhetsfrågor rörande hela stadsdelen.Den problembild som varit knuten till fastigheten är den intilliggande industriverksamheten, områdets ansträngda trafiksituation och att gator i anslutning till fastigheten upplevs som otrygga och därmed oattraktiva att beträda.

This final project discusses renewal and upgrading of the area of Prim. It is discussed how this industrial area can be an attractive neighborhood with a varied range of services and commercial trade. Prim is located 2km north-east of the center of Barcelona. The area boarders to a deep railway valley that historically has separated Prim from its neighboring districts. At present there is almost no housing, services or commercial trade within the area and the industry is discontinued or the existing industrial buildings are derelict. There is also a lack of green recreational areas.

Hållbar stadsutveckling på stadsdelsnivå har blivit populärt under de senaste åren. Det har byggts flera nya stadsdelar i Sverige med en hållbarhetsprofil och det pågår ett arbete med att ta fram ett svenskt certifieringsverktyg och en svensk standard för hållbara stadsdelar. Traditionellt har det varit stort fokus på byggnadsnivå inom hållbar stadsutveckling. Att fokusera på stadsdelsnivå gör det möjligt att betrakta byggnaderna i relation till omgivningen och på så sätt skapas ytterligare förutsättningar att nå en hållbar stadsutveckling. Denna rapport är en del av ett forskningsprojekt i samarbete mellan Linköpings universitet och Linköpings kommun med syfte att utveckla ett processtöd för hållbar stadsutveckling på stadsdelsnivå.

Miljökontoret i Luleå har sedan 1997 gett tillstånd till ett antal minireningsverk i Luleå kommun. I april 2006 fanns det totalt 42 hushåll med minireningsverk. Syftet med examensarbetet har varit att ta reda på vilka typer av minireningsverk det finns i kommunen, hur de fungerar, vad som egentligen kommer ut från anläggningarna och om serviceavtal finns. I examensarbetet finns en litteraturstudie över vad avloppsvatten innehåller och allmänt hur minireningsverk fungerar. De reningsverk som finns i kommunen är från tre olika tillverkare, arbetet innehåller en beskrivning av dessa anläggningar baserat på det material som finns från tillverkarna.

The goal with our research has been to describe how often and in what way female athletes are represented in the sport section in Sweden?s biggest evening newspaper Aftonbladet. The material we?ve used are the newspapers that we collected during two weeks in 2008, the 3rd of November to the 9th of November and the 11th of November to the 17th of November. We?ve conduced two qualitative researches ? a text analysis and an image analysis ? and one quantitative analysis on our material.

Taking a qualitative approach, this research investigates different theories and methods for creating parks that people will cherish and visit during their daily life. It also takes on the task to understand how principles of developing recreational values in a small forest is affected by the addition of a new element to the landscape, i.e. a major highway. Data was collected through the combination of focused literature review and study trips. This provided a framework which in turn was applied to the subject of the study, i.e.
