De faktorer som främst skapar motivation och arbetstillfredsställelse har visat sig vara resultatet av det utförda arbetet, dess utmaning och hur ansvarskrävande och omväxlande arbetet är. Man kan se vissa skillnader när det gäller utformningen av belöningssystem inom den privata sektorn jämfört med den offentliga sektorn. En av skillnaderna är att arbetet inom den privata sektorn anses vara mer utvecklande och leder ofta till högre lön och större utmaning. Resultatet av detta, inom den privata sektorn, blir att medarbetarna känner en ökad arbetstillfredsställelse. Lönen i sin tur fungerar som ett incitament för att delta i den utbildning och kompetensutveckling som finns.

Hospital Mergers have been proved to be troublesome, the most crucial ingredient is believed tobe the participation of members of the organization on all levels. When the hospital mergerbetween the hospital of Malmö and the hospital of Lund is a fact, it seems clear that knowledgeabout managing motivation is important. The knowledge could also lead to increased possibilitiesto improve support for motivation where needed at the hospital.I have through a literature review created a descriptive model of the theoretical view onmotivational factors for participation in change and their relationships. The theoretical modelwhere then tested in a empirical study in which additional data created a more true model of themotivation on participation at the hospital.The findings of the study show how the descriptive model illustrates how the twodifferent departments both work with a empowering philosophy that have built in properties thatenable the employees to gain more motivation. The model also underline the importance of thecommunication role to enlighten the employee in what, where, when and why the change takesplace.

This master thesis takes its point of departure in the conflicting worldviews of modernism and post-modernism. As traditional segmentation theory springs from the modernist worldview, this study aims to contribute to the understanding of the complexity regarding market segmentation for lifestyle brands in contemporary society, where the consumer is often claimed to be post-modern. The research was conducted in Malmö and Lund and involved 25 Converse users as respondents. The methods used in this thesis starts with observations as a sampling technique in order to locate the respondents. Short interviews and photo documentation followed.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur en företagsledning bör arbeta för att skapa goda förutsättningar för gästen att få en helhetsupplevelse. För att avgränsa vårt syfte har vi valt att titta närmare på Gröna Lunds organisation. Vidare har vi samlat empiri till studien utifrån tre perspektiv; konsulter, företagsledning och gäster. För att nå ett resultat har vi genomfört kvalitativa intervjuer med personer som representerar de tre nämnda perspektiven, som sedan kompletterats med en litteraturstudie för att definiera relevanta begrepp. I analysen har vi sedan tolkat resultatet och tagit in litteratur för att till sist nå våra konklusioner.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how structural changes are depicted as well as formally brought about in the documents of rule and regulation of Uppsala University and Uppsala University Library the years 1999?2013. Beside the documents of rule and regulation, also documents that is commenting on (or in other ways relates to) these are investigated. The study is based both in organizational theory and modern rhetorical theory. The results show that the University to a certain extent gained an increased possibility to micromanage the library?s working routines during the time span covered and the study traces the consequences this had on the library organization and reactions it evoked among the leaders and representatives of the library staffThis raised a debate between representatives from the University library and its mother organization, the University, regarding at which level in the whole organization decisions regarding the library?s forms of funding and everyday praxis.

Vår kandidatarbetstid har resulterat i nio stycken småfilmer som är till för att ge mer information om BTH och regionen för nyfikna. Fyra av dessa filmer innerhåller lite mer information om region, boende/kommunikationer, skolan och det studiesociala. Syftet med dessa fyra filmer är att blanda in BTH på olika sätt, att man sätter skolan som en röd tråd även i region och bostadsfrågorna. Vi gjorde även fyra stycken studentintervjuer, för att visa vad nuvarande studenter tycker om bostadsmöjligheterna och det studiesociala mm. Vi ville även visa att det finns folk från Kiruna i norr till Lund i Söder, som går på skolan, och att det finns många olika typer av människor som du får möjlighet att lära känna om du börjar studera här.

Tail-biting in pigs is an animal welfare issue and in Sweden during 2002 the producers lost tree million Swedish crowns because of tail biting. This economic loss depends on the pigs which are discarded at slaughter because of tail biting. Tail biting can be separated into two stages, "pre-injury" and "injury". The aim of this study is to investigate if tail biting depends on environment or genetic background.A lot of research on the environments effects on the behaviour of pigs but not so much on the genetic effects has been performed. The frequency of tail biting in pig farms influence among others of environment enrichment, ventilation, gender and breed of the pig.

Bakgrund: År 2013 uppmättes Sveriges befolkningsökning till den största på nästan 70 år. I Malmö finns ca 170 länder representerade. Enligt Hälso- och sjukvårdslagen1982:763 (HSL) ska hela befolkningen i Sverige erbjudas god vård på lika villkor. Kommunikation inom vården är ett riskområde. Socialstyrelsen skriver att bristfällig kommunikation mellan vårdpersonal och patient gällande informationsöverföring och missuppfattning om behandling kan äventyra patentsäkerheten.

The purpose of this study is to examine whether personality traits, self-esteem, performance-based self-esteem and demographic data relate to, and can explain the variation in psychological ill-health among students at Lund University. A questionnaire was distributed to students attending the Psychology program, Bio-technology program, Theologian program and Law program. There were 247 respondents to the questionnaire, mainly attending their second or third semester. General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12), Rosenberg's Self- Esteem scale, Hallstens scale measuring performance-based self-esteem, questions relating to demographic data and a short version of the personality inventory scale Big Five were included in the questionnaire. Positive correlations were found between psychological ill-health and the variables neuroticism and performance-based self-esteem.

The implementation problem refers to the situation when political decisions are not implemented as intended by the decision makers. In this thesis I examine how one part of the new school reform GY11 has been implemented in Social Science in high school in Sweden. The part that interests me is entrepreneurial learning. Using implementation theory, and the actor properties understand, can and will, as described by Lennart Lundquist, I have interviewed five high school Social Science teachers in Malmö and Lund. The result was that they all understood the concept of entrepreneurial learning.

In 2002 the local council of Lund, Sweden, decides to implement the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. A number of actors, such as the state, the civil society, the political society and the bureaucracy, participate in the political process with different authority and points of departure. This thesis studies the actors´ interactions from an inside perspective by applying concepts such as political power, democracy and implementation. The methodological departure is action research from within, a local NGO, the local board of Save the Children Sweden. The results of the study indicate that governance and steering of the implementation process at the communal level is weak.

Examensarbetet utgör en jämförelse mellan två byggmetoder: platsgjutna betongväggar och skalväggar. Studien har gjorts för SEFA Betongentreprenad AB med avsikt att redogöra den mest lönsamma byggmetoden.De centrala aspekter som belyses i detta examensarbete är kostnader, tider och arbetsmiljö.Resultatet visar att byggnation med skalväggar leder till ökade materialkostnader i projektet, vilket också leder till en högre självkostnad för betongentreprenören. Byggtiden blir däremot kortare och det gynnar totalentreprenören vars arbetsplatsomkostnader och arbetsledningskostnader. Utöver detta ger skalväggar en bättre arbetsmiljö i jämförelse med platsgjutna väggar eftersom mindre arbetsmoment krävs på arbetsplatsen vilket också leder till minskning av antalet olyckor.Tider och kostnader baseras på enhetstider från Nybyggnadslistan 1999 samt prisförfrågningar. Därefter har vi gjort en noggrann kalkylering med hjälp av olika datorprogram så som Bluebem, Wikells och Excel för att kunna sammanställa den totala byggtiden och självkostnaden.

This examination work is the final work in our education to become a Bachelor of Science inMechanical Engineering by the University of Lund.The main purpose with this work has been to develop a new effective material handling system for TPPM AB in Lund since the existing system starts to become out of date. The future system that is going to be installed shall have the capacity to support all machines with unit-, semi- and finished goods during full production. The work has also included studying the possibilities to change the material flow in a positive way between the storage and the production when one is using existing buildings.During our work we have been used a simulation program called AutoMod, performing company visits, interviews and reviewed internal and external information to create a picture of what the best conclusion can be. During the work we have contacted five suppliers to receive system solutions and quotatioris. The suppliers, which have been contacted, are Swisslog, Moving, Rocia, Christensen & Hansen and ABB.

About 35 years ago the WHO advocated that countries with injecting drug users should introduce the so-called needle exchange programs (NEP) to curb the spread of infection by blood-borne diseases. In Sweden the first NEP started 1985 in Lund, but the program was extremely controversial in a country with such a restrictive drug policy like Sweden.The study you are about to read shall process this controversy, when a NEP opened in Stockholm, by analyzing the articles published in the newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet. By using discourse analysis as a processing tool we?ll try to see the difference between the two chosen newspapers. We will identify and analyze the different participant?s, such as doctors, politicians, user associations and media, arguments in the needle exchange issue.

På vilket sätt kan konst var ett sätt att locka människor till att besöka naturen? Kring denna fråga, sett ur ett landskapsarkitektperspektiv, kretsar det här examensarbetet. Uppsatsen inleds med en litteraturstudie där avsikten är att få en djupare förståelse om begrepp såsom landskapsarkitektur, konst, natur och Land Art. Även vårt behov av naturen och teorier om att fånga platsens själ behandlas. Härpå följer intervjuer med personer som genom sin yrkesroll och erfarenheter är kopplade till mötet mellan konst och natur.
