During football games neuromuscular fatigue occuring following eccentric movements such as sprint, jump and run that occur during games. To avoid injury, overtraining and performance decreases, it is important to know when players are recovered. The aim of the pilotstudy was to investigate physiological changes that occur during football matches and if they affect the recovery pattern after several games in professional football players. The method was divided into two sub-studies in which 12 professional footballers, in substudy 1 performed counter movement jump (CMJ) and drop jump (DJ) from 40 cm and fill out a recovery form for muscle soreness 36 hours before, 12-16 and 60-64 hours after 11 different competetive games. Blood samples were taken on the players in connection with one match to examine the activity of muscle enzyme creatine kinase (CK) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) of the players.

Background: The latest development within the business world has been characterized by deregulation and globalization which has made the company bigger and even more influential. The increased power has resulted in a shift of responsibility for the community from the public to the private sector. (Steinholtz och Löhman, 2003) There have been many trends regarding what accountability includes and how financial accounting can be complimented in a useful and reliable way. Some trends have come to stay whilst others have shown to be less successful or the world has not been ready for them. (Larsson, a, 2002) Purpose: The purpose with this paper is to look at the historical development towards accounting for sustainability and to investigate what factors that might have hade an impact on this development.

Bakgrund: Många studier gällande compliance har genomförts och flertalet har visat att nivån av compliance är låg. De huvudsakliga områdena där compliance brister är handhygien, rengöring av linsetui, överbärande av kontaktlinser, brist på fullgod uppföljning och felaktigt användande av linsvätskor. Några av dessa områden har tagits upp i denna studie.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka hur kontaktlinsbärandet ser ut hos ett litet antal Internetanvändande personer i Sverige. Personernas vanor och compliance studerades i relation till tidigare studier inom detta område.Metod: En webbenkät med, för syftet, relevanta frågor skapades i webbprogrammet Google Docs. Enkäten bifogades i en länk och presenterades som ett evenemang på Facebook.

 The current estimations in regards to the increase in environmental threats underline the importance of influencing individual behavior towards a more sustainable lifestyle. At the same time current trends show an increasing interest into ecologically produced foods around the world and that the consumption has seen a major rise in the 20th century. It is therefore of great importance that companies show their interest and commitment in order to offer and influence the consumer into choosing the environmentally sustainable alternative. Also, in order to properly reach out to the consumers, it is of outmost importance to map out their attitude towards these types of products. It is equally important, in order to fully realize the potential of successful positioning, to show an understanding for the underlying decision processes that dictates purchase.

?What is happening with open public space?? and ?Why is it happening now?? are the twooverarching questions in this master thesis. In the essay the concept of ?offentligt rum? (openpublic space) is defined as an exterior place accessible to the general public, such as squares,parks and streets. I have, based on the issues, identified the trends and tendencies of openpublic space in Sweden.The study consists of three sections.

Introduction: In January 2005, a nationwide mandatory bicycle helmet law for children under the age of 15 was introduced in Sweden. In the current study, the effect of this law was evaluated by analyzing national trends in hospital admissions due to bicycle-related head injuries during the period 1998-2011.Methods: An interrupted time-series design with segmented regression analysis was used to evaluate the intervention effect on head injuries as a percentage of all injuries (%HI) among cyclists in age- and sex-specific groups. Effect was measured as a change in level and/or slope of the trend at the time of legislation.Results: A total of 35261 cyclists (0-54 years) were hospitalized due to a bicycle injury during the study period. Linear regression analyses of the entire study period (not segmented) showed significant year-to-year decreases in the %HI of 1.3-1.7% in all age and sex-specific groups (p < .0001). Results from the segmented regression analysis showed that, at the time of legislation, a significant drop in level occurred among males under 15 years (-4.5% [95% CI: -7.7% to -1.3%], p = .01) and a significant change in slope occurred among females aged 30-54 years (-1.6% [95% CI: -2.9% to -0.2%], p = .025).Conclusions: The law seems to have had an effect on males in the target population (<15 years).

The aim of this paper is to empirically examine the ideological trends and positioning of the Swedish liberal party with the Danish social liberal party. This paper also aims to analyze the reasons behind the trends. By examine the development in these two Nordic liberal sisterparties, this paper contributes to our understanding of why and how party change is initiated. The paper commences with an intuitive notion that the Swedish party has in fact, made a lurch towards the right, during the past ten to fifteen years while the Danish party has retained their social-liberal position in the centre of the Danish political spectrum. The questions then asked are: can this hypothesis be verified empirically? If so, how can this phenomenon of divergence, be explained?The method used in this thesis is process-tracing and the empirical material does to a large extent rely on interviews with central agents as they are specified in the theory of each party.

The world around us is shrinking and globalization and capitalism are processes affecting the world. Global trends, like outsourcing and relocation of firms to low-cost countries, have become more common. This creates a huge vulnerability in the municipalities that today are concentrated around a single large company. One of these is Olofström which today is one of the most vulnerable municipalities in Sweden and whose survival today lies in the hand of the company ?Volvo Cars Corporation?.

The newspaper industry changes with the society. New trends and developments affect how layout and design are perceived. Therefore it is important for the survival of a news­paper to catch up with trends and retain contemporaneity. This demands that a daily paper frequently updates its appearance and sometimes even redesign the whole newspaper. Folkbladet, a newspaper in Norrköping, is currently in need of a new layout. The employees often deviate from the graphic guidelines that exist at the company today, due to that it doesn?t feel contemporary, but also because they don?t appreciate the appearance as it is today. This thesis is based on a study of the layout of Folkbladet and analyse: which tools can be used to create a distinct identity regarding layout, which tools you can use to create a clear structure and readability in a newspaper, and how Folkbladet can make use of these tools. To find out about the company?s situation today and their identity, interviews have been made with employees.

Att varumärken utvidgar sig är inget nytt fenomen, däremot börjar det bli allt vanligare med varumärkesutvidgningar mot banktjänster. Varumärken som ICA, Skandia och IKEA har redan utvidgat sina varumärken till att även erbjuda banktjänster. Trots den omfattandeforskningen om varumärken och varumärkesutvidgningar mot nya varor och tjänster finns det knappt någon alls forskning om varumärkesutvidgningar mot just bankmarknaden. I detta arbete försöker författarna att förklara vad som påverkar utvärderingen av en varumärkesutvidgning mot bankmarknaden.Syftet med denna uppsats är att utveckla en modell för vad som är viktigt i en utvärdering av en varumärkesutvidgning mot bankmarknaden. Detta genom att utgå från Aaker och Kellers modell från 1990 för sedan utveckla den med variablerna varumärkeskapital, varumärkesförtroende och uppfattad risk.För att kunna se vilka komponenter som är viktiga vid en utvärdering av en varumärkesutvidgning mot banktjänster, har författarna utefter vissa förbestämda kriterier valt tre varumärken.

Tidigare studier av IT i undervisningen har fokuserat på kvantitativ inventering av hur många datorer skolor har och antalet lärare som utbildats för att använda IT i undervisningen. Jag vill ta reda på vilka möjligheter som finns, hur vi använder oss av dessa möjligheter i vår undervisning och varför vi väljer att använda eller inte använda dessa möjligheter. Eftersom IT ständigt utvecklas borde det vara logiskt att sättet vi använder oss av IT i undervisningen tar jämna steg med teknikens utveckling. Syftet är att undersöka hur gymnasielärare andvänder sig av IT i undervisningen, vilka förutsättningar som lärare upplever finns för IT i undervisningen, vilken kompetensutbildning lärarna genomgår eller erbjuds och hur lärare ser på användandet av IT i undervisningen. För insamlandet av primärdata har jag som metod valt att göra en elektronisk enkätundersökning i en av Googles applikationer, Google Drive.

Denna studie undersöker hur lärare arbetar med kartor i skolan och hur elever uppfattar användandet av kartor, både i skolan och i vardagslivet. Hur lärare uppfattar förändringen i mötet med kartan genom bytet från Lpo 94 och Lgr 11 kommer också att belysas. För att få svar på dessa frågor har åtta stycken intervjuer av lärare på högstadiet samt fyra fokusgrupper innehållande fyra elever styck genomförts. I intervjuerna uppger lärarna att det idag finns en bristfällig helhetssyn gällande kartan hos eleverna, fokus ligger ofta på ett litet område. Lärarna anser att denna utveckling inom ungdomars kartuppfattning påverkas av dagens teknik, som till exempel GPS där fokus ligger på start- och slutpunkten.

Collaborative music making on the Internet is not a new phenomenon, but no applications have yet caught on with the vast number of laptop and bedroom studio musicians active today. This is strange considering the inherent social and interactive nature of music, especially amongst trends like Web 2.0 where collaboration and user-generated data is key. In this paper I study the problems these applications face, and why they do not have a greater appeal to musicians. With the results I develop and evaluate my own framework, known as Crescendo Online: a multi-user sequencing and modular synthesis environment, intended to pave the way for a new type of online music creation platform..

Mitt examensarbete har utgått från Tyréns AB i Luleå och delvis Boden, där jag i samband med en förstudie för Boden som häststad fick i uppdrag att titta närmare på Bodens ridklubb och utifrån deras önskemål bygga upp en 3D modell, vision över hur ridskolan kan se ut.Modellen är uteslutande gjord i Google SkechUp. Där befintliga byggnader och hagar byggts upp och sedan de önskemål som ridklubben har på nya hagar, lösdrift etc.Till detta arbete har inte någon egentlig litteratur och källor varit aktuella. Utan bara önskemålen från ridskolans sida, men dock vissa bestämmelser om exempelvis hagarnas storlek som Jordbruksverket har..

Smartphones med Android som operativsystem har under de senaste åren blivit en allt större del av vår vardag. Kandidatarbetet undersöker vilken försäljningsmetod man som utvecklare ska använda sig av för att få största möjliga förtjänst, när man säljer ett spel på Androids marknad. De försäljningsmetoder, som studerats, är reklam, prissatt och in app billing. Från insamlad statistik av Google och enkäter har en förståelse kring vilken metod att föredra tagits fram. Resultaten visar att alla fungerar trots deras olikheter sinsemellan.
