Den här uppsatsen grundar sig i en enkätstudie riktad mot publiken av realityprogrammet Paradise Hotel som sänts på TV3 hösten 2014. Anledningen till denna studie var att se hur publiken mottar programmet, vilket motiv dem har och vilket behov som uppfylls med sitt tittande. Och även där jämföra mellan män och kvinnor och hur ofta dem tittar. Detta för att se varför ett så omtalat program som Paradise Hotel toppat listorna över antal tittare hösten 2014.Teorierna som använts i denna studie är Uses och gratifications-teorin och den danska mediaforskaren Kim Schrøders multidimensionella teori om mottagande. Det främsta materialet samlades in med hjälp av en enkät skapad i Google Docs och som delades via Paradise Hotels officiella facebooksida.

Bakgrund: Trycksår är en hudskada som uppkommer i förhållande till ihållande tryck som leder till att hud och vävnad skadas och det bildas sår på utsatta ställen på kroppen. Såren är svårläkta och väldigt smärtsamma. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa patienters erfarenheter av att ha trycksår och hur det inverkar på deras upplevelse av livskvalitet. Metod: Metoden var en systematisk litteraturstudie och här sökte vi systematiskt i olika databaser som CINAHL, PubMed, ELIN, PsycInfo och Google Scholar. Sex artiklar som stämde med syftet inkluderades.

June Aim: From the basis of Self-Determination Theory find those motives that are the sources of the greatest motivation at Sandvik Tooling and determine if the employees are mostly driven by intrinsic- or extrinsic motivation.                      Method:  The study has a quantitative approach where the empirical part consists of 24 questions from the SDT-theory?s Aspirations index that is divided into six groups evenly distributed on intrinsic- and extrinsic motivations. The questionnaire has been developed in Google forms and distributed digitally to the organisation by e-mail through a contact person at Sandvik Tooling. The respondents? answers are accounted for question by question in the empirical chapter and have been processed with a factor analysis and compared with the SDT-theory.Result & Conclusions: The results we received are in line with SDT-theory and whether people are motivated differently by intrinsic-Personal growth and Community contributions higher than all of the extrinsic motivational factors.

Within the last year many companies have proactively started to communicate their flaws and weaknesses, believing that this will lead to they being perceived as more personal and human. Dominos Pizza is one of many examples of a company using this practice as a strategic tool for communication. However, the problem concerning the above arises as we found that there was a very limited amount of research defining the effects of communicating flaws, where the company's both dispatcher and initiator. Our study aims to fill the gap between this growing trend and the limited research explaining the communication effects. The study was carried out as an experiment where a total of 420 respondents participated.

Innehållsmässigt behandlar rapporten företags ansvarstagande för hållbarhet inommiljön, det vill säga en del av Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR. Efter undersökningen om CSR, bestämde vi oss för att fördjupa oss inom miljöområdet. Målet var att analysera skillnaden mellan tillverkningsföretag och tjänsteföretag då det gällde miljöarbetet. Gruppen intervjuade endast Atlas Copco och TeliaSonera som fick besvara frågeställningen om just de två företagen - Hur sammanfaller/skiljer sig det egna initiativarbetet mellan tillverkningsföretag och tjänsteföretag för att minska dagens miljöpåverkan? För att kunna besvara frågeställningen började gruppen med att samla information.

The use of temporary workers gives companies the opportunity to be flexible, by avoiding hiring and dismissing workers because of economic conditions and trends in demand. The management control in use at the company has the purpose of influencing employees? behaviour to act in the company?s best interest and towards its goals. The management control should also influence the behaviour of the temporary worker. The companies have to create motivation and commitment among the temporary workers although they are employed by a staffing agency.

The purpose with this essay is to evaluate the retrieval performance between Googles basic search and the advanced search functions. A secondary purpose is to evaluate the differences between the binary relevance scale and a 4- point scale. The basic search is defined as a search with two terms combined with the Boolean operator AND. The advanced search is based on search functions that are adequate to compare to the basic search. They are categorized as AND-searches, OR-searches, AND and OR-searches, exact phrase, and depending on where the terms occur on the page.

The purpose of this paper is to provide insights into how companies should handle images on the social media channel Instagram by testing two different strategies against each other.

There are numerous of ideas and theories around the present development in our global society, describing an ever changing era based and propelled by information and communication technology (ICT). How influential has this development been on political visions and intentions and on the business worlds views on important competencies? The purpose of this thesis is to describe the national and international visions of important competencies in the ?information society?. Through a case study, focused on how the training and consultancy industry apprehends and answer to this change and development, as they often act as agents for new trends in the business world both as accommodators and originators. The growth and speed of the universally available information demands knowhow in seeking, analyzing and managing information, and this competence is crucial today.

Since July 2005 the major companies listed on the Swedish stock exchanges are required to apply the Swedish Code of Corporate Governance. The code states that companies shall have a nomination committee responsible for nominating new board candidates and seek to obtain gender equality in the Board of Directors. This paper examines the trend of board as well as nomination committee composition among Sweden's 60 largest publicly traded companies between 2005 and 2008. Our overall finding is that neither the board nor the nomination committee composition has changed to a notable extent during the period and that the share of newly appointed female board members has actually decreased. However, the trends vary between different sectors.

Det finns god kunskap om verksamma behandlingar för hypertoni. Trots det är följsamhet till behandling av hypertoni bristfällig och många patienter uppnår inte ett kontrollerat blodtryck. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att granska och sammanställa vetenskapliga artiklar om sjuksköterskans möjlighet att påverka följsamheten hos patienter med primär hypertoni gällande omvårdnadsåtgärder och läkemedelsbehandling. Utifrån syftet utformades två frågeställningar för att nå en djupare förståelse för ämnet. Metoden utgjordes av en systematisk litteraturstudie bearbetad genom Goodmans sju steg, vilka är utformade för en forskningsprocess.

The study has been done on behalf of and in cooperation with LRF Konsult. The purpose of the study was to try to find out how forest estate buyers valuated different parts of the estate at the time of the purchase and to see if it was possible to identify different trends between different kinds of purchasers. The study is delimited to Västerbotten County and all the purchases were made thru LRF Konsult. The background of the study is that the forest estate purchasers are paying more and more for the forest estates. The prices are often much higher than the net present value which means that they are paying for something more than just the timber value. The study is made with a questionnaire mailed to one hundred forest estate purchasers. Answers got returned from 48 of them.

The main purpose of this Master?s thesis is to analyse the portrayals of working-class life in a selection of works by the Swedish authors Ragnar Järhult and Per Gunnar Evander. The research questions are: * How is the working conditions described?* What political messages can be found in the works?* What image of the class society is shown?The second aim of this Master?s thesis is to analyse the concept of working-class literature and to investigate if the works of Per Gunnar Evander could be seen as working-class literature. Methodologically, the study draws on established theories, concepts and methods from the sociology of literature and the history of ideas.
