Studies have shown that user participation is a good method when improving or developing a product. The method gives a company insight in what the customer wants and needs. It has also been shown that user participation benefits all parts included. For example, it creates a greater relationship with customers than most other methods do. The aim of this essay is to analyze the discursive production of Food, within the Slow food movement, by its members. Through a discourse analysis inspired, theoretically and methodically, by Michel Foucault, this essay examines how the idea of food ? that is ?what should be eaten? ? in opposite to what can be eaten, is constructed within by Slow Food members in the Gothenburg area. The essay analysis how Slow Food?s food discourse is structured and what results this formation has on food within this discourse.

WesDyne TRC AB is a fully owned subsidiary of the global WestinghouseElectric Corporation. WesDyne is a world leader in non-invasive methods for theinspection of nuclear power plants. One of the inspection platforms used to scanfor defects in and around the welds in the reactor vessel is called the T-crawler.The T-crawler operates under water in a radioactive environment by stepping onthe vessel (reactor tank) inner wall using suction cups. The environment is harshand many traditional positioning sensors are not suitable for implementation. Thisthesis investigates the possibility to use a gyroscope and a pressure sensor tocreate an alternative and independent positioning system.

The single market is one of the underlying ideas of the European Union. Free movement of goods and efficient competition are central for the function of the union and are therefore carefully protected by the Treaty of Rome. Exclusive rights of trademarks in the EU can be seen as a method of dividing the common market, preventing the free movement of goods and to be anti-competitive. What comes out of this is that there is a conflict between exclusive rights of trademarks and the rules of both free movement of goods and competition. The aim of this work is to see in which kind of situations the exclusive rights of trademarks can be a part of this conflict but also to study how this problem is resolved by the European Court.

Alternatively if media produces an image ofpolitical activity which does not comport with the forming of actual political standpoints.

Men e-handelsföretagen måste först och främst känna att de har någonting att utvinna av dessa.

Första januari år 2013 trädde den senaste versionen av MARPOL Annex V i kraft. Denna studie har genom en litteraturstudie samt intervjuer med nautiska befäl sökt svar på vilka förändringar som skedde, hur dem implementerats ombord samt hur förändringarna upplevts av sjöfarare. Syftet med studien var att bidra med en pusselbit till bilden av hur avfallssortering utövas till sjöss samt hur arbetet med det upplevs. Litteraturstudien kom fram till att den stora skillnaden är att papper, glas, metall samt aska inte längre får slängas i havet. Inom specialområde får endast matavfall destruerat genom avfallskvarn slängas överbord.

DeLaval är en global koncern som tillverkar mjölkningssystem och utrustning för attunderlätta det dagliga arbetet för mjölkbönder. Den första januari 2009 introduceradesen ny utvecklingsmodell för att ta fram produkter och lösningar som kallas DeLavalCorporate Standard 015 (DCS 015). Syftet med detta examensarbete var att utreda hurmiljöaspekter kunde implementeras i DCS 015 och utveckla ett mätbart miljöverktygför att erhålla information om vilken miljöpåverkan utvecklingsprocessen faktiskt bidrartill.Examensarbetet inleddes med en teoristudie av området hållbar utveckling och företagsmiljöarbete vilket resulterade i den teoretiska referensramen i rapporten. Sedan utfördesinterna intervjuer på DeLaval för att utreda hur tidigare och nuvarande miljöarbete harutförts och vilka delar av detta arbete som kunde vara värdefulla att bevara i DCS 015.Samtidigt utfördes intervjuer på stora, internationella företag med en uttaladmiljöprofilering för att utreda vad DeLaval kunde ta till sig från andra företagsmiljöarbete. Informationen som inhämtats från teoristudien och de utförda intervjuernaanvändes sedan för att presentera förslag på hur DeLaval kunde implementeramiljöaspekter i DCS 015.Examensarbetet resulterade i insikten att för att ett företags miljöarbete ska varaframgångsrikt behöver det bestå av en kombination av miljöverktyg ochmiljömanagement.

This study in Environmental Science examines the amendment of the EU-Directive on. Greenhouse gas emission allowance trading. The Directive is to be considered as a tool for fulfilling the obligations that the Union and its member countries have taken on through the 1997 Kyoto agreement together with the protocols proposed at that time. The flexible mechanisms of the protocol are intended as instruments for limiting the climatic changes arising from anthropogenic sources, emission allowance trading being one of these mechanisms. The results presented here consist primarily of an analysis of interviews with various experts in the field of emission control concerning the possibilities and problems attending the process of implementation.

This essay intends to provide an understanding of the developments in the right of public access and recreational activities in the forests of Sweden, and which factors and prerequisites that have affected this development. The forest and its history, along with recreational development has in many ways shaped today?s rights of public access, but there is also an age-old tradition of public access that has affected how we have used the forest, and that also has enabled the development of outdoor recreation. Many are unaware of this, which causes misunderstanding to appear around the rights of public access and how it is supposed to be used.The essay opens with historical descriptions of public access, the Swedish forest and outdoor recreation, to thereby provide a picture of how these three fields have influenced each other over the centuries. This is followed by a description of the current access rights and the problems associated with those, and a description of other countries' equivalent of the right of public access.

Background: Ambiguity and confusion of ideas within the area of social responsibility have led to that companies not really know how to work with these types of questions. One way for companies to deal with their social responsibility is to affiliate to an initiative that exists and through this show their standpoint. One of these is Globalt Ansvar, a Swedish governmental initiative that is based on Global Compact?s principles and the guidelines of OECD. What does it mean for the companies when showing their point of view? Is this a way to gain legitimacy?Purpose: The purpose with the thesis is to judge if organisations? work with Corporate Social Responsibility gains more legitimacy by affiliating to Globalt Ansvar.Research method: A survey made through telephone interviews with representatives from all of the fifteen Swedish companies which today are affiliated to Globalt Ansvar.Conclusions: In order to give the affiliated companies more legitimacy, Globalt Ansvar has to be a legitimate initiative.

Physical inactivity is the fourth leading risk factor for global mortality. To prevent and change this the society need to develop good approaches and interventions to promote physical activity. The purpose of this thesis was to investigate which experience existing users have of smartphone training applications. Also to study if this can be a possible resource for health promotion. Det finns idag ett flertal teorier om vad som kännetecknar god service, hur god service presteras och vilka krav detta ställer på dagens serviceföretag. Dessa teorier förklarar dock inte hur man i praktiken ska gå tillväga för att uppnå det optimala servicemötet (Svingstedt 2005). Den kraftiga expansion av extraanställningar som nu äger rum inom detaljhandeln förändrar förutsättningarna för levererande av service ytterligare. De krav som ställs på service och flexibilitet inom detaljhandeln, i förhållande till extraanställningar, gör det således intressant att studera hur servicemötet skall fungera enligt teorin, hur det fungerar i praktiken och vilka problem man kan urskilja gällande extraanställningar i servicemötet. Vårt syfte är att belysa problematiken med extraanställda gällande servicemötet i detaljhandelsbranschen, dels ur ett teoretiskt perspektiv, dels ur ett empiriskt perspektiv.
