Framtagandet av ett företags visuella produktidentitet

Aqeri has since the past year a new profile with name and logotype, which has createda need for an updated visual product identity. The company is a leading developer,producer and distributer of IT products suitable for extreme environments in industry,defense and vehicles. This new profile with the different segments has together with aproduct identity from two companies resulted in that they have no clear designidentity on their products. From this background the aim of this research is todetermine how a development of a design identity is done to implement it to Aqeri.The design identity can be defined as a product?s identity visualized through its formor appearance which defines what the product is.

This project has been about making a design suggestion for a boat accessory that adjuststhe distance between a sail-or motorboat and the dinghy, which is connected by a rope inthe stern. Today this is all done by hand and can lead to problems when it comes tostressful situations such as harbors and narrow passages.A company called Sailsafe came up with the idea and the construction, which they alsohave tested. I found them through an acquaintance at Dacat AB where I did an internshipin the fall of 2010.Using sketching as the primary tool I?ve worked in an almost-real design project with theaim to develop my skills and give the company a relevant design suggestion. Dacat thenhelped me with a 3d model in Alias, which was printed in 3d and painted in thepaintworkshop at school..

The fact that more companies show awareness of responsible conduct, in particular of the environment and social aspects of management may be a way to build a strong corporate image.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the Management Control System is affected by a change in the owner structure from family owned to not-family owned. The study also tries to identify explaining factors behind the possible effects to the Management Control System. The study is based on a comprehensive case study on the company Alcro-Beckers which, in year 2001, was acquired from the owner Lindéngruppen fully owned by Ulf G Lindén. The acquirer was the non-family owned company Kemira OY, a Finnish stock listed group. The empirical foundation mainly comes from interviews conducted with people who were/are directly connected to the company, either as employees or as representatives for the owner.

Varför stannar soldater i Försvarsmakten? : En studie på 72:a kompaniet

The study was conducted on 72nd company at Livgardet in order to find out what motivators makes the soldiers stay. The material in the essay is based on an interview with soldiers from the 72nd company. The motivators are then categorized in the model Employee Motivation: A Powerful New Model. The model is based on human drives and I used as a tool for the analysis to identify lack of motivation in a working place. The study shows that the key motivators that make soldiers stay is: the opportunity to go on a peacekeeping mission and comrade/esprit de corps, the soldiers state that they will quit without these two essential motivators.

Studies have shown that user participation is a good method when improving or developing a product. The method gives a company insight in what the customer wants and needs. It has also been shown that user participation benefits all parts included. For example, it creates a greater relationship with customers than most other methods do. Webportals is one of the most interactive systems online and it gives companies a unique chance to improve and maintain their relationship with customers.

SyfteSyftet med detta arbete är att beskriva och analysera hur Company TEN bygger och kommunicerar sitt varumärke och hur de uppfattas av andra företag. Avsikten är att även beskriva och analysera hur företagets nätverksrelationer används och bidrar till varumärkesmarknadsföringen. This paper is about transferring a feeling from a physical place to the Internet. The paper explores methods on how this transfer is done. Websites have a tendency to not portray the company behind it in a correct way. For companies with a distinct esthetic and work hard on their image and brand it is important that this hard work is portrayed correctly in every aspect. The problems this paper explores are: the importance of personas in a design process, methods of transferring a feeling from a physical place with design and how this can be tested, and using open-source content management systems in creating usable websites.

Fond-i-fonder med global placeringsinriktning - Ett konkurrenskraftigt alternativ till globalfonder? : - En jämförelse med fokus på risk och avkastning

Bakgrund och problemformulering: Fondbolagen erbjuder spararna flertalet olika fondkategorier, däribland fonder med en global placeringsinriktning. Två av dessa produkter är globalfonder och globala fond-i-fonder. Globala fond-i-fonder placerar i andra fonder, såväl hos externa förvaltare som i det egna fondbolagets övriga fonder. I medierna har de globala fond-i-fonderna kritiserats för att ha höga avgifter och enbart syfta till att slussa in kapital i fondbolagets underliggande fonder. För att utreda om globala fond-i-fonder verkligen lyckats skapa något mervärde för fondspararna, vore det av vikt att undersöka dessa och titta på vilken risk, avkastning och riskjusterad avkastning de haft, i jämförelse med globalfonder.Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen är att utreda om globala fond-i-fonder, vid en jämförelse med globalfonder, tillfört något mervärde för den enskilde fondspararen utifrån parametrarna risk, avkastning och riskjusterad avkastning.Metod: Studien bygger på avkastningsdata från åtta fonder, fyra globalfonder och fyra globala fond-i-fonder, under femårsperioden 1 oktober 2004 ? 1 oktober 2009.

The purpose of this study is to explore the design and critical considerations concerning risks and opportunities when companies voluntarily initiate lawsuits with the partial aim to get publicity in the mass media. In the following paper, the communicative aspects of two such Swedish cases in the European Court of Justice are studied?a large corporation challenging the Swedish monopoly on gambling and a small company challenging the government on their restrictions for individuals to import alcoholic beverages. The case studies have been conducted through interviews, analysis of legal acts and press articles.

Lojalitet på arbetet : Ett perspektiv från arbetare till chef

AbstractThis qualitative study has been made to examine which factors that are required to create a work place that can be associated with loyal co-workers. The study covers half structured interviews with nine people on different levels and with different positions, within a manufacturing company in Värmland. Our ambition with this study is to find out if, and if so, in what way the view on loyalty and which factors that are required to encourage loyalty, differ depending on witch level one belongs to in the organization. Our thesis is that our respondents will have various ways of expressing the term loyalty, and that these various ways are linked to the different levels that each employee is currently stationed at.The result of this study shows that the way people look at loyalty, and what loyalty is really about, does not differ that much among our respondents, regardless of their level. The factors that, according to the respondents, are important if one wants to create a work place that can be associated with loyal co-workers are: to be able to feel trust towards and have faith in those one works with, as well as the company and the way things are being run, to be able to experience the feeling of community, and that one is happy with ones work place, as well as ones co-workers.
