Betygsskillnader på Kallingeskolan : - ett attitydsproblem?
It?s not a new occurrence that Girls have higher grades than boys. Statistics show the same at the Kallinge school in Ronneby. There is a great difference between boys and Girls in their grades from the ninth class. There are many different factors that affect the pupils.

This essay is about young peoples? use of swearwords and four-letter words. Through a questionnaire we have examined in what way 102 Swedish high school students use swearwords and four-letter words. We have also examined if there are any differences between Girls and boys linguistic usage and what these differences may be. Our results show that almost all youths use swearwords and that a majority of them use four-letter words as well. The results also show that there are not any major differences between Girls and boys.
I Love You in the Most Heterosexual Way : En komparativ analys av homosocialitet och framställningen av samkönad vänskap i Entourage och GIRLS
Studien jämför tv-serierna Girls och Entourage utifrån homosocialitet och samkönad vänskap, det vill säga bromance och womance som det i studien refereras till. Syftet var att undersöka om framställningen av homosocialitet och homosociala band såg olika ut, samt om detta stämde överens med tidigare studier och generella uppfattningar av homosocialitet i såväl mellanmänskliga relationer som i populärkulturen. Homosocialitet beskrivs som prefererade och uppskattade vänskapsrelationer mellan personer av samma kön. Homosocialitet och homosociala normer ligger därför till grund för könssegregering och exkluderandet av kvinnor genom att män tenderar att intressera sig för, välja och bekräfta andra män. Ju starkare homosociala band mellan män desto starkare är deras traditionella genusordning, tvärtom är kvinnans traditionella genusordning starkare om hennes homosociala band är svaga.
Grooming : Ur ett socialpsykologiskt perspektiv
The purpose of this essay is to analyse the descriptions of young Girls' experiences of internet contacts, which have led up to sexual abuse. The aim is to give additional understanding and knowledge concerning grooming. Grooming means that somebody gets in contact with someone else with the intention of committing sexual violations at a later stage. In most cases this concerns adults who contact children. We have chosen to confine ourselves to focusing on the grooming on internet that has happened to Girls. By means of thematic analyses of texts from the books Jag kände mig speciell, grooming på internet, 2012 and Alexandramannen, vår tids största nätsexhärva, 2009, we have found certain themes and linked them up with previous research-work and also theory of social psychology.
LVU i ett genusperspektiv : En kvalitativ studie om tillämpningen av LVU 3§ Lag (1990:52) med särskilda bestämmelser om vård av unga
The aim of the study learn about if the court assesses boys and Girls on an equal basis, or if there are norms of gender constructed in society that appears in the Administrative Court of Appeal. And we want to find out how norms, in this field, are different between boys and Girls. We used the judgments of the Administrative Court of Appeal and went through the descriptions of the Girls and boys. What basis was used in the judgment of LVU, to do this, we used discourse analysis. We summarized all judgments and then described the outcome of each requirement in LVU, we categorized the results for three requirements, other socially destructive behavior, criminal activity and abuse.
Genusstruktur på högstadiet : en studie om hur könsidentiteter ständigt bryts och repareras och bryts
The purpose of this essay is to find out how gender upholds in a classroom, both by students as well as the teacher. The procedure has been to observe the relationship between students and also the teachers. The observations is analysed according to theories of gender and a discussion about why gender is maintained follows. The conclusion of the result is that gender is being preserved in different ways, but also the contrary ? students and the teacher oppose it.
Barns föreställningar om de första djuren som utvecklades på jorden
No previous studies have been conducted on elementary school in Sweden about children`s thoughts about the first animals on earth. The work takes up the children`s ideas of the first animals and the difference between Girls and boys knowledge. The purpose of this work was to determine if student`s views are consistent with the science know today. In the interview, five Girls and five boys participated. Mankind is asking where it all began, today we know that the first life arose for 4 billion years ago and it was from the water.
Eleven i fokus : En studie över gymnasieelevers läsning
The aim of this study is to find out what education in literature is like from a student perspective; what kind of literature the students read and how well they understand literature, and the methods and didactics used during the literature lessons. The questions at issue are:1) What kind of literature do the students read?2) How well do the students understand literary texts?3) What do the students think about their literature education?To be able to answer the questions, both quantitative and qualitative methods have been used in the study. The inquiry was accomplished on 29 students, 17 boys and 12 Girls in the upper secondary school. The result showed, despite the limited amount of students, interesting facts.

The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of eight 12-year old boys and Girls about two comics; Sabrina ? tonårshäxan (Sabrina ? teenage witch) and Spiderman. Do children see gender differences in the two comics? Do boys and Girls identify with the heroes in the comics and does this affect the children's own gender socialisation. We interviewed four boys and four Girls from different parts of Sweden.

Gender awareness is considered of absolute importance to Swedish school?s and preschool?s main mission ? equal opportunities for all children. Gender portrayal in childrens literature is now one subject of vast study, since literature often carry underlying messages of the perception of male and female. With this in mind, the purpose of this thesis was to analyse, mainly through Maria Nikolajeva?s scheme of gender ideal types, how the Swedish writer Per Gustavsson portrayed Girls in four of his so called Prince- and princess books.
En grupp ungdomar i tvångsvård: bakgrund, begåvning och självbild
The aim of this study is to describe a group of youths in compulsory care at a SiS institution in the south of Sweden. The study focuses on intelligence (measured with WISC-III) and self-report, i. e. what the youths think of themselves (measured with Jag tycker jag är). Attempts were made to see if background factors (based on information from the standardized ADAD-interview) seem to be coherent with intelligence and/or self-report and if so, what those background factors are.

In this thesis, the results of a survey regarding grade progression between secondary and upper secondary school in a municipality in the north of Sweden serve as the starting point for a study of the experiences and expectations of a number of 16 year old Girls who are in the first year of upper secondary school. The study is performed by means of focus group interviews with female pupils from the three largest upper secondary schools in said municipality in an attempt to gauge their experiences of grades, grade assessment, teacher practices and perceived differences in how boys and Girls are treated. The results show that most of the Girls are disappointed with upper secondary school so far. Many of them feel that secondary school was both more fun and more rewarding in a sense of learning. Their appreciation of how this more rewarding atmosphere affected their grades differed between the various groups.

The factors describes as biological, psychological and sociocultural. Aim: The aim of the study was to illuminate the nurses problem in caring of Girls that developed anorexia nervosa. Den ansiktslösa rösten : Analyser av Jenny Holzers verk och en studie i den konsthistoriska bilden av henne.
Denna uppsats tittar närmare på fyra verk av Jenny Holzer. Hennes konstnärskap jämförs även med Guerilla Girls. Huvudmetoden utgörs av bildanalyser och jag presenterar också tolkningsmöjligheter utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Inte bara invandrare? : Diskursiva villkor för våldsutsatta tjejer i etniska minoritetsgrupper
A mapping process is ongoing in Sweden concerning a phenomenon known as ?honour related violence?. The explanations of ?honour related violence? often focus on culture and ethnicity, thus establishing differences between the majority society and offenders and victims. Given that some scholars critique mapping for focusing on predetermined objects, my aim is to study discursive conditions for abused Girls, who are constructed as being from within ethnic minorities, in relation to their contact with the Swedish welfare system.
