System Andersson AB is a company located in Jönköping that works with developing computer systems for the mechanical engineering industry. As of today, when this report is written, the company is working on the development of a new Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) system. This new system aims to create not only a user friendly interface but also a modern, stylish interface. To achieve this, the company has decided to work with a, for them, new application framework; Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).System Andersson is well known for developing systems for different kinds of touch screens, this project is no exception. For this new user interface the company wishes to implement different types of Drag&Drop functionality.

Bygg- och rivningsavfallet är besvärligt att hantera och sorterapå grund av att mängden är stor, sammansättningen komplex och den innehåller många miljöfarliga ämnen.Syfte med examensarbetet är att ta reda på hur hanteringen av bygg- och rivningsavfall går till, vad som händer med avfallet efter att det har slängts, vilka olika faktorer som förekommer och hur avfallet kan återvinnas, återbrukas och på vilket sätt kan man förbättra hanteringen av avfallet på ett miljömässigt sätt.Examensarbetet består av två huvuddelar. Den teoretiska delen går igenom relevanta teorier ochinformation från litteratur och olika rapporter. This paper aims to describe the geographical changes of Swedish international aid politics since 2007, which was the year the new aid reform of decreasing collaborating countries, came up. To decrease the number of aid receiving countries due to efficiency is not a new idea within Swedish aid politics, but Sweden received criticism from the (DAC) Development Assistance Committee, saying Sweden was active in too many countries, and the government established a policy to decrease the amount of countries given aid. Despite the government?s recent work, science has shown on a failed country focusing. This is followed up in the paper trough examination of statistics to measure the extent of the reduction.

Ett Film som projekt, en film om ljud, en film om ljudet i film. En film inspelad professionellt med professionella medarbetare. Kandidatarbetet gick ut på både skapa en film inriktad på ljud och skapa ett fungerande filmteam. Arbetet tar upp både det tekniska inom filmljud men även processen i ett filmteam. I arbetet följer vi processen från dess början till dess slut.

This bachelor?s degree thesis was conducted in mechanical engineering at Halmstad University during spring semester 2010 in close collaboration with the company Gremo AB, located in Ätran, Sweden. Gremo AB produces, developes and sales forest machines in both Sweden and on the international market.Gremo AB belongs to one of the market leaders in forest industry, especially with their forwarder. In order to become a market leader even with their harvester, the company decided to change the harvester to have a swivel and a leveling driver cabin.The aim with this bachelor?s degree thesis was to develop a design concept for the harvester driver cabin, which Gremo AB can apply on the new harvester.

Cache simulator is a tool to increase the understanding of a cache memory. Therefore cache memory simulation is included in the course Computer Engineering IS1200 at the Royal Institution of Technology. The purpose of this project is to develop a cache memory simulator for education. The existing MipsIt and Mips Simulator which is currently used in IS1200 has been the main source of inspiration. This resulted in the development of the cache memory simulator LMSim.

Informationssystemets uppgift är att tillgodose och hjälpa användarna med information och informationshantering samt att leda till en effektivisering.Arbetet med att utveckla databaserade informationssystem är problematiskt och systemutvecklingsprojekt överstiger ofta budget både vad gäller tid och pengar. Återkommande problem är att systemen inte gör vad användaren vill samt att systemen inte utnyttjas till full kapacitet. Svårigheten med kravhanteringen är något som anses vara en orsak till misslyckandena.Den viktigaste informationskällan för systemutvecklarna då det gäller att ta reda på systemkraven är användarna. Då användarna spelar en viktig roll i kravhanteringen, vilken i sin tur spelar en viktig roll i systemutvecklingsprocessen, är detta ett intressant problemområde.Denna rapports fokus ligger på hur användarna ser på kravhanteringsprocessen.

AbstractIT can facilitate communication among individuals and connect people across geographical distances. On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

When different type of programs are developed one wants to make these adjustable to future changes and requirements. It must be done a good design of the program from the beginning to make it possible to continue development of it without having to redo big parts of it to high costs. In the area of object orientation there are design pattern, which can be used to design systems that can be adjusted to new changes in an easier way. I have in this thesis chosen to take a closer look at how to design a program that sends SMS to cell phones through a system of an operator. One requirement on the program is that it has to be possible to change what operator to send though in an easy way.

Det huvudsakliga syftet med denna rapport är att genomföra och testa en implementationsteknik för ragdolls ämnade användas i spelsammanhang. Implementationen sker genom en kombination av en verletimplementering tillsammans med en fördefinierad bone-hierarki i meshen som skall användas. Verletimplementeringen programmerades som en grund till en enklare fysikmotor och parsningen och struktureringen av meshen sköttes parallellt utanför fysikmotorn. Rotationsmatriser för samtliga större kroppsdelar, såsom över- och underarmar, överkropp, huvud etc. beräknas sedan i fysikmotorn och används för att vrida mesh-kroppen rätt.

Vi har i vårt examensarbete undersökt Helsingborgs studentsituation på uppdrag av Helsingborgs Kommun. Redan nu är det bostadsbrist för Helsingborgs studenter och värre blir det i och med att studenterna förväntas nästan fördubblas dubbelt de närmaste fem åren. Därför behöver Helsingborg ett nytt studenthem omgående. Syftet med denna rapport har varit att utreda studenternas boendesituation i Helsingborg, för att sedan kunna presentera den bästa eller lämpligaste lösningen för ett nytt studenthem. Tanken är att denna rapport ska kunna ge Helsingborgs Kommun underlag för en eventuell nyproduktion.

I den här rapporten presenterar vi vår argumentation angående datoriseringen av två arbetsuppgifter på Habiliteringen, Karlskrona har inneburit ett understöd av det direkta arbetet med patienter eller av det administrativa arbetet. De anställda anser att den direkta kontakten med patienten är det viktiga, medan dokumentering och det administrativa arbetet är det ?oviktiga?, aspekt som också framgår från vår empiriska undersökning. Det finns en ambivalens med datoriseringen av dessa arbetsuppgifter som vi beskriver i vår uppsats. Å ena sidan stödjer datoriseringen dokumenteringen och det administrativa arbetet, det oviktiga, medan å andra sidan användningen av dataprogrammen har en stor potential i att indirekt understödja huvudarbetet, det direkta arbetet med patienter, vilket är det viktiga. För att belysa de här aspekterna skildrar vi i vilket syfte de anställda använder dataprogrammen, på vilket sätt de använder datorn och dataprogram, och de olika problemen som har uppstått sedan datorn har införts. Vi föreslår ett antal förslag/förbättringar som kan leda till effektivisering av huvudarbetet (arbetet med patienter) och kollateralt av arbetssättet..

This thesis has been carried out within the bachelor program for mechanical engineering at Karlstad University in collaboration with BAE Systems in Karlskoga. The purpose with this work was to design a mechanism and associated parts for loading and unloading of shots between primary and secondary magazine in BAE's new 40mm's ship gun.Parts designed or redesigned among other things a transfer mechanism for shot at loading and unloading, well as a hatch mechanism which makes the shots do not fall out of the primary magazine when making separate use. Various important details have been designed to maintain a good functionality of the mechanism.The construction work has mainly been carried out in the CAD software Solid Edge and its associated FEM module. The construction work has also been carried out on rough calculations for constructed details in order to ensure that they meet the stringent requirements of military use in tough marine environment. Two of the most critical parts of the structure where analyzed with the FEM module for estimating the stresses in the material at the applied load.The final design, which is a result of the thesis, meets the requirement specification and the set targets.
