Syftet med den här studien är att undersöka om det går att kombinera genrepedagogik och bedömningsmatriser och vilka för- och nackdelar det kan innebära för dels pedagogen, dels eleverna. Uppsatsen innehåller en sammanfattning av aktuell forskning på området. I studien presenteras en beskrivning av arbetet med cirkelmodellen kring den argumenterande genren parallellt med införandet av en bedömningsmatris i en grupp vuxenstuderande. Dessutom genomfördes en enkät med elevgruppen för att ta reda på deras åsikter om arbetet. Resultatet av den presenteras i studien.   Undersökningens resultat visar att bedömningsmatriser och genrepedagogik är en gynnsam kombination, framförallt för pedagogen.

In this thesis I'm trying to examine the meaning potential of visual elements and layout in a Swedish newspaper front page and the same newspaper's website's start page, drawing on theories about multimodality and social semiotics developed mainly by Theo van Leeuwen and Gunther Kress. The study is focusing on Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet and the website aftonbladet.se and compares these three different days. In this thesis I also try to examine what the newspaper communicate about its identity through the different visual components. My conclusion is that visual elements and layout have a great importance regarding what a newspaper communicate about how the news articles should be read, but what can be said about a company's identity mostly depend on the genre the newspaper belongs to and how well the reader knows that particular genre..

Anna Larsson Frid (2006) Carl Jonas Love Almqvist SONGES Projektarbete på 2000-talet (Carl Jonas Love Almqvist SONGES a school project in the 21th century). Skolutveckling och ledarskap, Lärarutbildningen, Malmö högskola i samarbete med Musikerlinjens pedagogiska kompletteringskurs, Musikhögskolan i Malmö. Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att jag ska få inblick i hur gymnasieeleverna upplever arbetsprocessen i projektarbetet inom en ovanlig genre: Almqvists Songes (med den svenska översättningen Drömmar). Eleverna ska få pröva sina förmågor och lära sig att bäst utnyttja sina resurser. För att uppnå mitt syfte har jag intervjuat fem gymnasieelever som medverkar i projektet.

The essay is an effort to examine and define three examples of liminal dance performances through an aesthetic, hermeneutic and semiotic analysis. The examples are three dance or liminal performances, made by three different choreographers and performed at ?Moderna Dansteatern? and ?Dansens Hus? in Stockholm during September and October 2005. In the effort to determine the liminal and cross-over in the performances, the analysis focus on aspects such as: the character of the work, choreography, the use of scenery, stage light, requisites, conception of place and interior room, the use of costume and mask, the use of different media as text, pictures, film, and music or not using any these, and the interaction with the audience. The analysis depends on a historical background and the use of literature in the subject.

The aim of this thesis is to examine possibilities concerning subject access to fiction film, i.e. appropriate ways to describe fiction film for subject retrieval. Problems regarding subject indexing in general, and subject indexing of fiction film in particular, are identified, as well as the uniqueness of fiction film and film genres. Four types of subject aspects are discussed: form and genre, fictitious characters, setting, and general topics. Several guidelines, form- and genre lists, and subject headings lists are examined and treated as potential indexing tools.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka användandet av drama som pedagogiskt verktyg i gymnasieskolans undervisning och elevers attityder till det. För att ta reda på detta användes en enkätundersökning bestående av kvalitativa och kvantitativa frågor på en gymnasieskola i Mellansverige. Resultatet från undersökningen visar att drama som pedagogiskt verktyg upplevs ha flera olika effekter för eleverna, både pedagogiskt som individuellt. Slutsatsen är således att drama inte bara är ett verktyg förbehållet läraren för att skapa en lustfylld undervisning utan drama är också ett betydelsefullt redskap som elever kan använda för sin sociala och emotionella utveckling..

The purpose of this paper has been to study and to compare three novels, written by Katarina von Bredow, Syskonkärlek (1991), Som om ingenting (1999) and Som jag vill vara (2007), with focus on the protagonists. The aim was also to map how the novels relate to the contemporary youth novel, the girl book, Chick lit and Chick lit junior. The protagonists were compared on the basis of themes, sow as relationships within the family, boyfriend and friends, as well as identity. The protagonists have in common that the relation with their family members is important. The three protagonists consider that friendship is important.

This case study examines how upper secondary schools in a municipality in the northern parts of Sweden structure their special pedagogy with students who have ADHD and dyslexia, students? and parents? experiences of this, and what regulates the schools management in this particular aspect. The results show that all the schools have special pedagogues and other support staff employed, though in varied extent. Furthermore, the resources are distributed differently from school to school. The focus, however, is always around communication between the concerned parties.

This Master´s thesis examines the conceptual ideas of science fiction and science fiction fandom produced in the Swedish fanzine Science Fiction Forum (1960-) between the years 1960 and 1980. Science Fiction Forum was and still is a fanzine published by Skandinavisk Förening för Science Fiction (Scandinavian Science Fiction Club). Both the club and the fanzine are a part of the phenomenon called fandom.A fandom is a collective of people called fans who form a community by sharing a special interest in a special object. The fanzine is one of the many material products produced by fans within a certain fandom. Science Fiction Forum and Skandinavisk Förening för Science Fiction were founded in 1959 and are a part of swedish science fiction fandom, where the object of fandom is literary science fiction..The primary focus of this thesis is the meta discussion on science fiction and science fiction fandom in Science Fiction Forum.

This thesis is covering my design of an architectural object for the use in a pedagogical setting. The purpose is to create contextual premises for students, making possible the testing of designs, involving plants suitable for the urban environment. Hence, the main features in the object design is suggestive to the urban outdoor rooms - rooms that are formed amongst the city facades. The thesis is also about the design process set out from a technical reality, based on camera imagery. To a large extent, the thesis consists of reflections concerning the object's function towards pedagogy, perception and materials. Furthermore, the object claims to be a hybrid between architecture and landscape architecture.

I detta arbete har jag undersökt om det finns några skillnader på gitarrövning inom olika genrer. Jag har försökt hitta en bild av inställningen till övning och tagit reda på om, och i så fall varför det uppstått skillnader mellan klassisk och afroamerikansk tradition. För att få svar på mina frågor har jag intervjuat sex gitarrlärare, tre inom varje genre, som undervisar på olika nivåer. Svaren har varierat en del men jag har fått fram en generaliserad bild med en del skillnader, men också med stora likheter. Attitydskillnader hos de olika genrerna finns inte enligt mina informanter, utan har istället uppstått mycket på grund av media.

Drawing on earlier research, and using observations as the method, this study presents a design of a nature playscape for children. Applying outdoor pedagogy to the fundamental structure of a specific location, the study proposes a design of a playscape, over a more obvious design, for instance one based around a quiz walk.The theoretical framework is Gibson?s theory of affordance, and the goal has been to create a "play flow". The purpose of the investigation is to present students' and parents' thoughts and reflections about violineurhythmics. Data consists of qualitative interviews with students and parents who experienced the method during the last years. Violineurhythmics can be seen like a genre of the method of the rhythmic.

Every now and then, in media research studies and in various newspaper articles, schoolboys´ issues reading habits are discussed. Much of what is written concerns boys decreasing marks in the field of literature, in the Swedish language and also their negative attitude towards reading books. Some scholars claim that boys do not read because they consider reading books as a women´s duty. Other people believe that underlying causes for boys negative attitude towards reading is biological, that it´s genetic and consequently physical, and that male and female brains are functionally different. Another theory of today is that boys actually reads, but not that kind of texts and literature that they are exposed to in school.Based on a selection of these opinions and theories, and my own experience and interest for questions concerning school and gender, the aim of this studie was to examine boys worlds of reading.

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att ta reda på vilka metoder några lärare använder för att främja elevernas läslust, vilka genrer lärarna anser att eleverna bör läsa och vad eleverna faktiskt läser. Jag ville också ta reda på om lärarnas bild av elevernas läsvanor stämde. Jag har intervjuat tre lärare i årskurserna fyra respektive fem samt via enkäter kart­lagt deras 52 elevers läsvanor. Resultatet visade att lärarna använde en mängd olika strategier för att främja läslusten, även om de fokuserade på att hitta rätt bok till varje elev. Precis som lärarna förutsåg var elevernas läsvanor väldigt skiftande, både när man ser på mängden de läser och vilken genre de läser respektive tycker bäst om.
