The purpose of this paper was to examine how people experience the practice of Cannabis in daily life. The study was based on interviews with five individuals who have experience with cannabis use. They do not represent a bigger population only themselves. We chose these particular individuals because all of them began using cannabis at a young age- everyone before they were twenty. But they have been using cannabis because of different reasons.

Furthermore, it is possible to distinguish a movementin Beckett?s use of parrots, from a more or less traditionally use, to one more philosophicallyprofound.Although the parrot graces us with its presence (or at least may be traced) in almost everywork written by Beckett, from the poem ?Whoroscope? Under temat Skräck och rädsla har ungdomar i år 8 läst klassiska skräckhistorier och nyare spökhistorier, skrivit egna skräckberättelser, läst, ritat och svarat på frågor om en modern spökhistoria, sett på film samt gett tips om böcker och film på detta tema. Syftet och metoden med min undersökning var att jag, genom att systematisera och studera vissa givna ämnen,  ville se vad ungdomar påverkas av och hur deras bild av skräck ser ut. Jag har även sökt efter skillnader i pojkars och flickors bok- och filmtips och tolkat bilder av ungdomars sätt att se på döden. Resultatet av undersökningen visade att ungdomar idag påverkas till stor del av innehållet i filmer och dataspel och till något mindre del av böcker. Begreppet skräck innehåller lika mycket monster, vampyrer, mörka skogar, knivar och övergivna hus nu idag som det gjorde då, när själva skräckgenren uppstod.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att studera hur ensemblelärare hanterar situationer där elever motsätter sig att delta i aktiviteten som läraren planerat att undervisa. Studien avgränsas till att undersöka situationer där en elev motsätter sig att medverka i instuderingen av ett musikstycke på grund av dess tillhörande genre. I den teoretiska bakgrunden presenteras forskning som relaterar till relevanta delar i styrdokument, musikens relation till individers identitet samt ensembleundervisningen som lärande situation. En kvalitativ intervjustudie genomförs med fyra ensemblelärare på gymnasienivå med syftet att samla data gällande hur de agerar i denna situation och deras bakomliggande tankeprocess. I resultatet visar det sig att de väljer att inleda ett resonemang med eleven som väljer att inte delta.

The aim with this essay is to penetrate the opinions of how women should be represented on screen. I am using a selection of contributions from the gender debate that Lars von Trier´s movie Antichrist caused in Sweden in spring 2009. The focus of the debate was mainly about the way the female actress was displayed. The provocative thing considered by many was that the female part could be interpreted as evil and in connection with Antichrist. But is that a obvious negative way to present women? In a historical view the discussion have been constantly fluctuated when it comes to the ideas of the correct way to visualize women in the movies which have left us without a true answer to that question.I am interested in investigating what is considered today as the best way to represent women by Swedish debaters.By using Michel Foucault?s term discourse as theory in a text analyse I am trying to look trough their language and see their ideological position..

The purpose of this study was to gain understanding of orthodox Christianity in Swedish educational material. The aim was to compare the presentation of orthodox Christianity towards pupils before the new curriculum and after. With the help of an analytical approach by Bergström and Boreu ?s and the interpretation strategy by Quentin Skinner, I have studied material used in school for the subject religion. I have limited my educational material in one way.

Mot bakgrund av att jag tappade motivationen att skriva skönlitteratur så fort jag i förväg bestämde textens handling, beslöt jag mig för att hålla fast vid en intuitiv metod men att istället byta genre från roman till novell. Syftet med denna studie är att försöka beskriva hur min metod växte fram och analysera förtjänster och svårigheter med en intuitiv metod. Genom att studera författare som varit inspirationskällor för mig har jag upptäckt att flera av dem brottats med liknande problem och att min stil i flera avseenden påverkats av dem. Resultatet av min studie är att det finns uppenbara likheter mellan Franz Kafkas produktion och min egen när det gäller litterär metod, berättarsynvinkel och bildspråk. Vidare betraktar jag mina noveller snarare som dikter än noveller då grundstrukturen i dem påminner om lyrik, vilket jag försöker visa med hjälp av begrepp hämtade från Jurij Lotman och Riffaterre.

The concept of IT has developed into ICT (Information- and Communication Technology) over the years. ICT has an increasing impact in society and the Swedish curriculum (Lpo 94) highlights the importance of school to convey lasting knowledge that constitutes the general frame of reference that everyone in society is in need of. The purpose of this study was to find out how teachers perceive and use ICT in secondary school and discover the teachers? vision concerning ICT.The used approach for the study is a qualitative research with a basis of interviews. Four interviews are made with teachers from the early years of secondary school, at two different schools.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilka läsförståelsestrategier elever använde sig av när de skulle förstå olika textgenrer. För att undersöka vilka strategier som elever i årskurs tre använde när de läste olika slags textgenrer användes tre olika texter, en skönlitterär text, en faktatext och en instruktionstext.Vi använde oss av kvalitativa intervjuer för att ta reda på vilka strategier eleverna använde när de skulle förstå innehållet i en text.Resultatet i studien visade att elever använde olika strategier när de skulle förstå olika slags texter. Resultatet tydde även på att elever var medvetna om fler strategier än vad de använde under våra intervjuer. Dessa strategier var alternativa sätt som eleverna kunde använda om de fick problem med texten. Det kunde till exempel vara svåra ord som eleverna behövde identifiera.Resultatet visade på att elever främst använde strategin att nyttja minnet när de försökte förstå olika slags texter.

The thesis is based on a case study of a Swedish discussion forum where survivalism and prepping is the main focus. The awareness of an abrupt and immanent breakdown together with a full and thorough preparation for any conceivable threat posed by that breakdown is what legitimizes survivalism and prepping. This preparation, or risk-proofing is 1) grounded in an isolation of the body and its predispositions from perceived risks, and 2) actualized through artefacts, theoretical and practical knowledge and awareness. Stories of the embodied survivalist are also stories of masculine and heterosexual subjects and ?the others?.

The Church of Sweden sent during the spring 2010 two documents, Teologiskagrundprinciper för arbetet I 2006 års handboksgrupp and Mässans grundordning forconsideration. The documents are parts in the work with writing a new service-book for theChurch of Sweden. After the documents had been sent for consideration by the dioceses therehas been a discussion about the proposal to make the preparation in the service of HolyCommunion facultative. My main question has been to se if there will be any change of theconfession, faith and doctrine in the Church of Sweden if the preparation becomes facultative.I have seen that the service-book is an expression for the confession of the Church of Sweden,therefore there will be no change of the confession of the Church of Sweden, but a change ofits expression.I have seen that there is no consensus in how the dioceses react over what is written in thetwo documents about the forgiveness and the atonement. My conclusion is that it may bydifficult for the Church of Sweden to fix a new service-book without first fix what the Churchof Sweden means with forgiveness and atonement..

This paper investigates the representations of Africans in the Swedish comic press around the time 1880-1920, with the purpose of establishing how Africans were depicted and how these representations can be explained. The sources consist of four comic magazines: Kasper, Söndags-Nisse, Strix and Naggen.Results show that images of Africans in the late 19th and early 20th century Swedish comic press highly conform to international representations. Traditional stereotypes and overall caricatures are widely applied, mediating racial difference and black subordination. The comic strips and jokes can be divided into categories, defined by their main theme: 1) Exotic animals and nature 2) Skin colour 3) The unintelligent or uncivilised savage 4) Cannibalism 5) The civilised African 6) Imperialistic overtones. The use of international stereotypes indicates that some comic strips might have been directly copied from foreign publications, and incorporated into Swedish contexts.Several theories, likely interacting, can be considered in explaining the imagery.
