Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka tre unga bloggerskor från Jönköping och deras sätt att skriva. Genom att undersöka de grammatiska strukturerna i fem inlägg av varje bloggerska och jämföra dem med varandra, vill vi utläsa ett eventuellt gemensamt bloggspråk. I vår bakgrund beskriver vi bloggens utveckling och dess roll i den svenska skolan. Forskning kring blogg, med särskild betoning på bloggspråk, är begränsad. Vår undersökning syftar till att vara en kvalitativ studie där vi har utgått från en stilanalys kompletterad med en variabelanalys.

Laura Mulvey was the first to suggest that women and men have different positions on the screen; men drives the plot forward, and the women are objects of masculine desire and lust.The purpose of this report was to look at and compare the two characters from the 70?s - and 80's with two characters from the 00?s - and 2010?s to gain a deeper understanding and insight into how female action heroes are presented. This will be done with the help of the questions; How is the female action heroes that are analyzed in the paper?What are the differences and similarities between the past and the present-day action heroes? Just how stereotypical are the women in their genre? The four female action heroes that were analyzed were; Princess Leia Star Wars, Sarah Connor Terminator and Lisbeth Salander Men Who Hates Women and Katniss Everdeen The Hunger Games.The four female action heroes were analyzed based on Rikke Schubarts categories (Moderarketypen, Amazon, Dotterarketypen, Ha?mnerskan and Dominatrix), the character's personal development, the character's violence and the reason for the character's.Characters from the past were more often presented as more uncertain and fragile than the modern confident characters. The female action heroes of modern times was more independent, strong, and in no need of a man in comparison with contemporary female action heroes.

This essay investigates how the author Oline Stig creates identities for her main characters in three short stories; Midsommar, Polly Maggoo and Den längsta dagen from the collection Den andra himlen (2007).My investigation is based on concepts chosen from psychology and narratology: First, Jonas Stier?s definition of human identity. In his definition he focuses on a person?s social context. He also considers identity formation as an ongoing, ever- changing process.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka eventuella skillnader mellan att undervisa män och kvinnor i sång, om sångpedagoger anser att de anpassar sin undervisning efter kön, samt om eleverna upplever någon skillnad i att undervisas av pedagoger av olika kön. Studien bygger på intervjuer med två sångpedagoger; en man och en kvinna, samt med två av deras respektive elever. Studien visar att sångpedagogerna väljer att anpassa undervisningen efter de olikheter de anser finns mellan flickor och pojkar. Det handlar mer om tidigare inlärning än om fysiska olikheter. Samma övningar används för pojkar och flickor, men anpassas efter kön.

For my advanced degree in archival science, I have organized and catalogued the Blomqvist family archive.  The Blomqvist family archive consists of records from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 21th century. The records in the archive depict and describe different aspect of the Blomqvist familys life and work. Specific problems and theoretical questions that appeared during the cataloguing of the Blomqvist archive were related to the great presence of objects and photographs in the archive. A discussion concerning the role of objects in archives and within archive institution took place. The problem with cataloguing photographs as well as the problem of searching for photographs in archives, were also discussed.       .

In the 1969 Le Thor seminar, Heidegger stated that his philosophical journey could be characterized by three different themes: meaning, truth, place. The first two of these have been the subject of countless studies and discussions, but the question of place is still relatively unexplored in Heidegger?s thought, despite the increased interest for this topic in his writings. Even though scholars like Jeff Malpas, Edward Casey, Stuart Elden and Miguel de Beistegui have written books and essays on the importance of the conception of place in Heidegger?s thinking, there are still many important aspects of this theme to be discussed, given the importance Heidegger himself ascribed to this topic.In this essay, I therefore wish to pose the question of how one can understand the relation between place and the role of tragedy in Heidegger?s conception of truth.

This thesis describes a tool for data mining used to optimize ambulance preparedness. The goal with the tool was that it should be able to retract the information necessary to be able to analyze and calibrate the preparedness model used in the software ResQMap. ResQMap is used by SOS Alarm, who are responsible for the Swedish emergency number 112, as a decision support tool for ambulance operators. It is developed by Carmenta AB, who are the supervisors of the thesis work. Also, a minor study of the preparedness models variables has been performed in order to be able to evaluate the function of the tool.

This paper deals with the question of neolithisation of Southern Scandinavia. The main goal is to give an overview of three theories regarding how agriculture and livestock breeding was introduced to the Southern Scandinavia. These are as follows: the immigration theory, the socio-economic theory and the historical explanation theory. Furthermore it is investigated which theory has the most probably support in material culture. There are obvious difficulties in interpreting the archaeological material.

?Fan fiction writing?, or the writing of stories based upon a popular entertainment franchise, has become a topic of academic discussion. Fan fiction writers have waked the ire of movie producers, since they often write fiction that is in direct contradiction to the movie?s plot or spirit. While most academic studies on fan fiction have concentrated on his confrontational aspect of the writers? psyches, we have found that the writers actually have a much more nuanced approach to their work, and are not necessarily hostile towards the directors and producers.

The general purpose of this dissertation is to study picture communication in picture books and it addresses the following questions:What is the illustrator?s role in the process of making a picture book? What communicative qualities do pictures have in picture books and how do pictures interact with texts? What methods do illustrators use to visualize the meaning of stories in picture books?A genre analysis, a literature study and an interview of a professional illustrator has been conducted to answer the questions. I found that all objects that make up pictures, the arrangement, colours and shapes contribute to the meaning in diverse ways. Pictures also communicate in a different way than texts. An important difference between pictures and texts in the context of picture books is that pictures are more open for interpretation.

This thesis contains a wider discussion on the analytical framework of classstudies in political science. The purpose is to put class into the light of a usefulmethodological and theoretical tool when it comes to studies on inequality and political,as well as scientific approaches and explanations to why people have awide range of differences in how they pursue their lives. It is my ambition to discusshow class relations can be theorized and explained within a given context, aswell as in society as a whole. I see the complexity of this field as a resource to enhancethe epistemological as well as the empirical discussions within the politicalscience scholars..

I detta arbete studeras metoder att lära ut jazzimprovisation på elgitarr. I bakgrunden behandlas utifrån litteratur och tidigare forskning, ämnet improvisation samt jazzimprovisation och metoder att lära ut detta på elgitarr. I resultatdelen redovisas och jämförs vad fyra elgitarrlärare vid kulturskola och gymnasium tänker kring ämnet jazzimprovisation, samt metoder för att lära ut det. De berättar utifrån sin erfarenhet som elgitarrlärare om vilka svårigheter som finns vid jazzimprovisationsundervisning på elgitarr. De talar också om metoder de inte använder i dagsläget, men kan tänka sig använda.

I den här uppsatsen visas hur kriminalromanen har gått från att följa de traditionella kriminalgenrernas regler och konventioner till att bryta och modifiera dem. I denna nya typ av kriminalroman som jag kallar ?Den moderna kriminalromanen? hittar man ofta inslag av flera olika kriminalgenrer och nya inslag som skapar en hybridroman som inte kan definieras till en specifik kriminalgenre.                             I teoridelen går jag igenom de traditionella kriminalgenrernas historik och kriterier samt visar på nya influenser, trender och element som är typiska för den moderna kriminalromanen. I analysdelen analyseras Stieg Larssons Millenniumserie, som jag anser är ett typexempel för den moderna kriminalromanen, för att se om recensenternas beskrivning av romanernas genre stämmer. Romanerna analyseras både utifrån traditionella kriminalgenrer och moderna influenser.                             Uppsatsen visar att traditionella kriminalgenrer finns representerade i respektive roman men utöver dessa finns även andra kriminalgenrer och moderna influenser/trender representerade vilket gör att det blir svårt att definiera de enskilda romanerna som tillhörande en specifik kriminalgenre.

Detta kandidatarbete undersöker science fiction, en av de större och vanligast använda genrerna inom medier såsom spel, film och litteratur, genom att studera dess undergrupper, de så kallade subgenrerna. Dessa är specialiserade versioner av genren i fråga och använder den inom vissa förutsatta ramar, exempelvis hur samhället ser ut eller vilken typ av teknologi det huvudsakliga fokuset kretsar runt. Genom att studera hur subgenrer är beskrivna i The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction kan man avgöra att de består av sex punkter: plats, tidsperiod, karaktärer, teknologi, narrativ och visuell estetik. Dessa punkter har använts som ramverk för att utveckla en ny subgenre; Mystech, där scenarier utspelar sig i vad som kan ses som en typisk fantasyvärld med magi och monster, men där dessa egentligen bara är teknologi majoriteten av de påverkade inte förstår sig på. För att demonstrera Mystech har två olika miljöer utvecklats, både i bild och skriven form. Dessa är två mycket olika skådeplatser för scenarier att berättas i men som trots sina olikheter har nog med faktorer gemensamt för att kunna klassificeras som delar av samma subgenre..
