I september 2007 lanserades en ny varumÀrkesplattform för Sverige. Denna uppsats har undersökt hur denna Àr utformad och vilken betydelse den har för svenska företag. För att genomföra en genomförlig analys har Àven det svenska varumÀrket i helhet analyserats. Detta för att fastslÄ om det har nÄgon betydelse för svenska företag. En kvalitativ metod har anvÀnts dÀr den primÀra data blir de genomförda intervjuerna.

My aim with this study has been to examine how the fashion is a leading component in the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray.I have studied the role fashion plays in the novel and in which way it can be seen as a way of letting the reader know the important role of fashion in 19tcentury England and the morals of Oscar Wilde.To prove my thesis I have used literature that shows how Oscar Wilde uses influences from his own life in his writing of The Picture of Dorian Gray. I have also used Judith Butler's theory of performativity in analyzing the characters in ordet to display their way of staging themselves and their lifestyles and their dependence of that performativity in their interactions. Even though the theory of performativity often is used to hold the importance of the sexes, I have concluded that it has an important role in the novel when Dorian Gray interacts with the character Sibyl Vane who is an actress. My results have shown that fashion in the novel is often a way of letting the reader know important elements of a character in the way that certain fabrics and items are mentioned when Wilde writes about his characters. I have also found that fashion is an important factor when the characters judge each when they speak about the way they dress.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how homosexuality and homosexual adoptions are manifested in children's comic "Bamse" and study the result in the light of a brief background about the western society and gay history. The study has a historical gender perspective and focus homosexuality primarily in modern times. Drawing on critical theory and semiotic analysis, the study shows how ideas and ideology surrounding same-sex relations and parenting are negotiated in the ?Bamse? comic. 2010 was the year when the Bamse cartoon took a step into the gender debate and introduced two gay rabbits who adopted an infant.The study shows that despite the obvious intent to anchor homosexuality as normal and integrated in the society there are hidden ideologies that reveals homosexuality as abnormal and excluded.

Purpose The purpose of this study is to explain what possibilities the new license between Youtube and Stim can have for Swedish artists and what impact this may have for the Swedish major record labels? competitive advantage. Based on this, the aim is also to describe how artists' position of power against major record labels may change due to the license.Method The essay is based on an inductive approach. The authors have used a qualitative research method to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon investigated. Primary sources have been collected using a variety of interviews from different parts of the Swedish music industry.Conclusion The Swedish major labels still hold a strong position today both when it comes to power balance and attractiveness.

In Sweden there is an integration policy and a policy for national minorities. The integration policy aims to integrate newly arrived immigrants (nyanlÀnda invandrare), whereas the minority policy aims to maintain and strengthen the rights of the national minorities. The national minorities are though, at times, included into the integration policy, even though they hold a minority status in Sweden. This paper aims to, through discourse analysis, investigate the research question: ?how is the content of integration referred to, when it is related to immigrants, contra when it is related to national minorities?.

Denna uppsats syftar till att undersöka hur investerare inom equity crowdfunding förhÄller sig pÄ den informella riskkapitalmarknaden och huruvida de tillför nÄgot nytt pÄ denna marknad. Uppsatsen ser till vilka möjliga motiv och risker det innebÀr att investera i equity crowdfunding och Àven eventuella förvÀntningar pÄ utfallet av det investerade kapitalet. Denna studie har bidragit till att se investerare i equity crowdfunding som en ny form av karaktÀr pÄ den informella riskkapitalmarknaden, dÀr premisser för risktagande och motivation till investeringen skiljer sig frÄn tidigare investerarkategorier. Genom att se till existerande teorier och litteratur pÄ omrÄdet informellt riskkapital dras paralleller med den insamlade empirin. Investerarna pÄ den informella riskkapitalmarknadens kan karaktÀriseras utefter fyra kategorier: microinvesterare, finansiella placerare, kompetensinvesterare och affÀrsÀnglar. För att kunna analysera motiven och förvÀntningarna pÄ investeringar i equity crowdfunding har teorier om risker och motivation anvÀnts.

This essay has a purpose to understand and investigate how disabled people, where the handicap imply difficulty to speak for one self, get the rights of self-determination and influence satisfied. Our purpose with this essay is to focus on how representatives from organizations, trustees and Support and Service for Persons with Certain functional Impairments- officials(abbreviated LSS after the Swedish title of the Act lag om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade), describe and discuss matters concerning the individuals? opinions and requests from within their respective position. We will with this as a base analyze how these three parties facilitate and meet the individuals? influence and self-determination.

Research in international trade situations has mainly focused on understanding the exporter?s actions and has showed ways on how these can be optimized. Although the importer in most cases, until this day, has been left outside this focus, it has been showed that the importer often is the active participant in an international dyad. It is the importer who is actively seeking suppliers for its production or distribution. Based on previous research in the area, the following study identifies the factors that are vital to the importer for satisfactory relations.

Due to stress, the workplace is a setting where actions of health promotion are of great importance in the perspective of public health. Stress is caused by heavy workload, low control of organizing their tasks and lack of support from colleagues and supervisors. This can lead to cardiovascular disease, depression and insomnia. Due to the health problems that this causes, it is important to examine how senior immigration offices perceive their psychosocial work environment.The aim of this thesis is to examine how the senior immigration offices at the Migration Board perceive their psychosocial work environment. The study is based on a qualitative approach with deductive content analysis and the data has therefore been collected through interviewing six people based on a semi-structured interview guide.The result has shown that the senior immigration offices are pleased with their work environment and that their workload is constantly changing.

In order for companies to be competitive they perform different types of development projects.  Due to globalization a greater focus is added on costs, not least on costs in development projects. Project controllers are involved in development projects in order to review the financial aspects. The authors have examined the role that project controllers hold in respect of two Swedish manufacturers, Volvo CE and Scania CV. The investigation has revolved around three main issues where the authors conducted interviews with controllers that do not work in development projects and project controllers in development projects. The goal of the interviews was to gain a greater understanding of the role of project controllers, how this role will differ from those that do not work in development projects and the difficulties faced by project controllers.

Berörda aktörer Äterfinns inom segmenteninstitutioner, börsnoterade, fonder, utlÀndska samt opportunistiska.Den svenska fastighetsmarknaden har pÄ kort tid upplevt stora förÀndringar. Utvecklingen lÀr Àven fortsÀtta i högt tempo framöver. Detta medför ett allt större krav pÄ en tydlig strategi som inte bara tar hÀnsyn till idag, utan som Àven klarar av att möta morgondagen.Av empirin framgÄr det att aktörerna pÄ den svenska fastighetsmarknaden har olika strategier.

I denna uppsats exploateras möjligheten att med hjÀlp av statistiska modeller skapa relativt tillförlitliga prognoser över framtida varians-, kovarians- och avkastningstermer för en portfölj av riskfyllda tillgÄngar. Prognoserna anvÀnds som inputvariabler i Markowitz?s portföljoptimeringsalgoritm som i sin tur bygger upp en aktieportfölj vars riskjusterade avkastning Àr lÄngsiktigt bÀttre Àn sitt jÀmförelseindex, SBXCAP. Resultaten visar att tradingstrategin lyckas uppnÄ en 26 procent högre Sharpekvot Àn portföljernas relevanta jÀmförelseindex. Denna relativt stora, men inte statistiskt signifikanta, förbÀttring Àr möjlig genom att göra mÄnadsvisa rebalanseringar och minimera den förvÀntade volatiliteten snarare Àn att försöka maximera den förvÀntade Sharpekvoten.

Nyckeln till ett framgÄngsrikt och vÀrdefullt företag Àr att göra bra investeringar eftersom det Àr investeringarna som skapar den avkastning som dess Àgare fÄr som ersÀttning (Froot, et al., 1994). Men eftersom framtiden Àr fylld av risk och osÀkerhet Àr bedömningen av en investerings ekonomiska vÀrde ingen enkel sak (Sandahl & Sjögren, 2005).I företagens strÀvan att tÀmja denna risk och osÀkerhet har Mikes (2009;2011) identifierat tvÄ olika kulturer, den berÀknande kulturen och den visualiserande kulturen. Dessa kulturer prÀglas av sin syn pÄ vad som Àr meningsfullt att sannolikhets bedöma och vad som inte Àr meningsfullt att sannolikhets bedöma (Mikes, 2011).

This study investigates a method for identifying human capital and its effect on company valuation. We devise a measure for the efficiency of human capital based on the personnel cost. We include all companies listed in the financial and industry sector on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm in an attempt to examine human capital and its effect on firm valuation. Our results indicate that a higher efficiency of human capital has a positive effect on return on assets. However, we find that our measure can be interpreted in two ways; either as a firm?s level of human capital efficiency or its dependency on human capital, to achieve its net sales and revenue.
