Since the 1980s, the management philosophy New Public Management has resulted in major changes in the public administration system in several countries, especially in the West. A market oriented approach and an increased focus on performance measurement are ideals that are salient in these changes. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the management philosophy?s influence on international relations through a critical analysis of some of its ideals in the management of international development cooperation, where effectiveness, quality, and results have been new dominant concepts. Through a qualitative content analysis of a Swedish Communication from 2014 ? the Aid Policy Framework ? and a debate in the Swedish parliament where this Communication was discussed, different themes that reflect the strategy of so called results based management in Sweden are identified.

Vad har man valt att inte ha med? Vad har man lagt till i filmen? Vilka sekvenser? Är det nĂ„gonting man har Ă€ndrat vid överföringen frĂ„n boken och i sĂ„ fall vad? Metod: Jag kommer i denna uppsats att anvĂ€nda mig av en kvalitativ metod. Syftet med en sĂ„dan Ă€r att skaffa sig en djupare kunskap Ă€n den man fĂ„r genom till exempel kvantitativa analyser.

The objective with this essay is to establish the benefits of inserting media as an obligatory topic in the upper secondary school. In order to succeed with this I will not only type this essay I will also produce a medial production in the form of a film.  I have interviewed two senior masters on Södertörns College where I have reviewed different questions that relate to the matter's weight in school values and the society. In the study I will also reflect over existing research within the area and to link these to the issue and those interviewed opinions. Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur vÀl informerade och förberedda svenska gymnasieelever blir nÀr det gÀller internationella studier, jobb eller praktik. Resultatet visar att 85 procent av de elever som svarat pÄ enkÀten inte anser att de fÄr tillrÀcklig information nÀr det gÀller utlandsstudier, jobb eller praktik. This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

In the profession of architects there is an element called architectural competitions, where several architects compete in submitting the best solution for a certain task. In this master?s thesis I am studying the competitor?s perspective of an international architectural competition, while at the same time gaining experiences for my future career as a landscape architect. The aim of this thesis is to through an introspection of my own process examine a competitors view of the international architectural competition and how to approach the difficulties concerning international competitions. Through that I hope obtain experience about the international competition as part of the profession of landscape architects and other involved professions. To examine a competitor?s reflection of an international competition, I entered and competed in LE:NOTRE Student Competition, a competition for students where the task was to develop 25 kilometers of complex urban periphery along a chain of natural and artificial lakes in Bucharest, Romania.

Strax efter milleniumskiftet har ett flertal svenska filmer gjorts som Àr influerade av populÀrgenrer som förhÄllandevis skiljer sig frÄn vad filmpubliken i Sverige Àr van vid, dÀribland science fiction och skrÀck. Tre svenska filmer gjorda under 00-talet: Storm, Frostbiten och Kenny Begins, har valts ut för att se hur de förhÄller sig till Àldre och mer vÀlbekanta konventioner i svensk film men ocksÄ konventioner hos de mer internationellt spridda genrer som analysexemplen tillhör. .

Syftet med detta examensarbete har varit att fÄ en större kunskap om den musikaliska gestaltningen av karaktÀrer i film, samt att fÄ en utökad kunskap om filmmusik generellt. Uppsatsen inleds med en kort skildring av filmmusikens historia samt en redogörelse för den tidigare forskning som berör Àmnet. DÀrefter har en funktionell analysmetod, baserad i en kategorisering av filmmusikens olika berÀttarfunktioner, presenterats.
