This essay follows a Media Teacher in her work as a coordinator and an artistic leader for a European project called Legalopoli concerning laws and ethics in a senior level school for 13-16 year-olds in Mora, Sweden. The students write film stories about how their characters have to make choices in ethical dilemma situations. Then the learners create interactive computer games together through practical film work. At the same time we can see how the educator also gets into difficult ethical situations, when she is working with the students. This forces her to self-reflection.

Ambitionen med mitt arbete var att skapa en vacker och intressant 3d-animation med den senaste datortekniken. Animationen bygger pÄ redan befintliga skisser, idéer och material som jag har skapat de senaste tvÄ Ären och ville avsluta i mitt kandidatarbete. Med detta arbete ville jag fÄ mer förstÄelse för 3d-tekniken som ett konstverktyg och lÀra mig mer om hur man skapar grafik. Jag ville Àven öka min estetiska förmÄga och kunskap. Genom att anvÀnda mig av grafikprogrammet ?Lightwave 3D? plus diverse andra applikationer som behandlar datorgrafik har jag skapat min film.

This thesis provides a descriptive study from a pedagogic perspective that analyzesobjectives, directives and content related to the social science core class, SAMSAM01b, atGothenburg public high schools. The purpose is to further explore the role of education inrelation to global development and international relations. The study is built aroundcurriculum representation and course implementation of three aspects considered importantfor global development and knowledge of the operating environment: critical thinking,international cooperation and sustainable development. Knowledge theory and likemindedideas of what constitutes a good education form the core of the study?s theoreticalperspective.

I denna uppsats studeras placeringen av svenska filmproduktionsbolag. Eftersom majoriteten av de svenska filmproduktionsbolagen förlagt sig i Stockholm, trots att hÀlften av all svensk lÄngfilm produceras i VÀstra Götalandsregionen, studeras de olika spatiala förutsÀttningarna för filmproduktionsbolag förlagda pÄ dessa bÄda platser. Den övergripande frÄgestÀllningen rör varför majoriteten av svenska filmproduktionsbolag Àr placerade i Stockholm. Det empiriska materialet har samlats in genom intervjuer med filmproduktionsbolag, filmföretag och samproducenten Film VÀst. Baserat pÄ klusterteorier kring lokalt surr, globala pipelines och temporÀra kluster, har materialet analyserats.

Gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer pÄ film under tre epoker Syftet med denna uppsats var att skapa en djupare förstÄelse för gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer ur ett etniskt perspektiv. Uppsatsen speglar tre olika epoker, nÀmligen vÀstern eran, 1970-talet och 1990-talet, men med en tonvikt pÄ hur klassiska stereotyper gestaltas och om det finns nÄgra befintliga undantag. Med hjÀlp av en analysmall har jag analyserat sex olika filmer, tvÄ frÄn varje epok för att finna likheter och skillnader i gestaltningen av Nord Amerikas indianer i sÄ kallad Hollywood film. PÄ sÄ sÀtt har jag funnit hur tiden luckrat upp dessa stereotyper till stor del men att de fortfarande finns kvar men med mer genomtÀnkta och komplexa relationer sedan vÀstern erans storhets tid. Men Àven att det finns ytterst fÄ undantag frÄn de stereotypa idealen och att faktorer som brist pÄ översÀttning av indiansprÄk fortfarande distanserar ÄskÄdaren frÄn att kÀnna engagemang och empati fÄr indianer som individer..

Filmbolaget Pixar har under de senaste femton Ären legat först med att producera datoranimerad film. Bakom utvecklingen av den animerade filmen finns en tro pÄ att kunna förÀndra. Jag vill i min uppsats se om idéer som dessa framtrÀder i filmerna. Som utgÄngspunkt har jag anvÀnt Karin Johannissons bok Nostalgia, dÀr begrepp sÄsom nostalgi och modernitet diskuteras. Dessa begrepp har jag sedan anvÀnt i min undersökning.

What impact and effects are created by the placement of an international ranking? Could it be that a top rank is detrimental to an entire country's efforts to fight corruption?This bachelor thesis in political science is about Swedish corruption. In essence, so questioning the Transparency International's indexed rankings that placed Sweden in third place. Issues concern since if the third placement has created nonchalance and a careless mentality in Swedish government and in particular in the municipal operations. Research results show that Transparency International's rankings have low validity and low reliability and that the government is not acting sufficiently to prevent and fight corruption.

This study is a qualitative content analysis which sets out to examine the representation of stereotypic masculine traits amongst the main characters in two films from The Swedish Institute of Film's (Svenska Filminstitutets) selection for ?School Cinema? (Skolbio). The study is operationalised through the use of a scheme, constructed by Lorraine Evans and Kimberly Davies for their study No sissy boys here, which maps stereotypical masculine and feminine traits and originates from Sandra Lipsitz Bems ?Sex Role Inventory?. The masculine traits in the scheme are: aggressive, competitive, argumentative, decisive, assertive, risk-taking, self-reliant and adventurous, and the feminine are: affectionate, emotionally expressive, impetuous, nurturing, panicky, passive, tender, and understanding.

A film can attract all kinds of emotions and moods of the audience through its audiovisual communications and cinematic expression, in which music plays a significant role in both understanding and interpretation of film content.It is interesting to explore the musical significance and the emotional aspect of the film out of a media and communications perspective and visual communications perspective because it?s a subject that belongs to the communications of scientific discipline as film is a media text which is working both as communicative and as audio-visual medium with its expressive aspects.The purpose of this bachelor?s paper is to increase and deepen the understanding of music's function and significant role in context with its reinforcing sense of visual expression in film. More specifically, it aims to explore the musical value of the expressive aspect of the media text in form of film musical Les Misérables (2012), which has been transmedialised from the novel of the same name, referring to the sound, music and song in relation to the film's visual expression.The research questions are at the core of the essay study: "how is music used to reinforce the cinematic visual expression?" and "how can music signify the narrative and highlight the emotional aspect of the film?" The theoretical framework is based on some of the key scholars assumptions such as Michel Chion (1994) and Claudia Gorbman (1987), who share the same theoretical views that the soundtrack seems powerful when it expresses its participation in a scene?s emotional moods as the music follows the scene?s rhythm, the image?s flow and contributes emotional and musical codes of emotions and expressions. According to Chion sound and image interact together to tell a story where sound enrich the image with expressive and informative values.

Detta examensarbete handlar ?Verklighetstrogen Effektskomposition?. MÄlet med arbetet Àr att undersöka och utnyttja alla de olika aspekterna som gör att en film med specialeffekter kÀnns sÄ verklighetstrogen som möjligt. Arbetet handlar om de olika delarna i en filmproduktionsfas sÄ som pre-production,production och post-production. Filmen som skapas Àr en specialeffektsbaserad hemmavideo som har som syfte att vara sÄ chockande som möjligt i förhÄllande till vad man förvÀntar sig nÀr man börjar kolla.

I kursplanen för Àmnet svenska finns det relativt nya vidgade textbegreppet, vilket innebÀr att text inte lÀngre innefattas av tryckt text utan Àven kan vara bild, film, teater etcetera. Denna studie tar sin utgÄngspunkt i film som text. Syftet med undersökningen Àr att studera huruvida film som text kan likstÀllas med den litterÀra texten i svenskundervisningen eller om filmmediet fortfarande, som forskningen benÀmner det, anses vara av lÄg status. I forskningsbakgrunden problematiseras filmens roll i svenskundervisningen och förslag pÄ ytterligare bearbetningsmöjligheter angÄende film som text ges. Undersökningen grundar sig pÄ intervjuer med tre gymnasielÀrare samt enkÀtundersökningar med respektive lÀrares elever, vilka lÀser kursen Svenska B.

Abstract: In this study, I have searched for answers to whether teachers use pictures in their teaching with the purpose of making education easier. Can we use the pictures with a pedagogic purpose? In this study, I have interviewed middle-school teachers concerning this subject.My results show that teachers actually use pictures in order to make the education easier for pupils but they do not do it very often. They think that they do not have the time to look for the good pictures that go with their subject and that they can show in the classroom. They also think that the pictures in the textbooks are good enough and they do not discuss the pictures very much.

Syftet med denna studie Àr att undersöka pÄ vilket sÀtt Jesus beskrivs pÄ film. Mer specifikt Àr syftet att beskriva hur Jesus gudomliga och mÀnskliga egenskaper gestaltas i fyra olika filmer. Film Àr ett vÀxande medium och det Àr ocksÄ ett medium för att behandla livsÄskÄdning, bÄde explicit och implicit. Det kristologiska grundproblemet kring Jesus natur aktualiseras pÄ film ibland utifrÄn en teologisk medvetenhet, men ibland ocksÄ omedvetet. Syftet med denna studie Àr alltsÄ att undersöka hur Jesus gudomliga och mÀnskliga natur gestaltas pÄ film.

Increased consciousness about environmental and sustainable issues has led to consumers and companies who are more in favor of reuse and recycle. Even though this is a fact, people today are buying new things more often compared to before. For instance for a mobile phone the functionality lifecycle is eight years which can be related to the economic lifecycle today which is 1.5 years compared to 3 years in 1995. Only 1-2 percent of the mobile phones thrown away in Sweden today are handed in for recycling. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether an international company within the recycling and reuse of mobile phone industry has a market in Sweden.
