Hösten 2006 bestämde sig regeringen för att utforska möjligheterna att införa ämnesmål iskolan ibland annat ämnet svenska för elever i årskurs 3. Ungefär två och ett halvt år senare ärdet första nationella provet i svenska för elever i årskurs 3 konstruerat. Ett år senare har ettnytt nationellt prov konstruerats och det är delar av detta prov denna studie bygger sin analyspå. De texter vilka kommer att analyseras i denna studie är faktatexter skrivna av elever iårskurs 3 vårterminen 2010.Elevernas vokabulär kommer att vara centralt i denna studie då det är elevernas ordförråd somdet visar sig i deras faktatexter som analyseras i studien. I studien framgår det att eleverna iårskurs 3 använder sig ett vardagligt språkbruk när de skriver sina faktatexter.

How does the criticism of landscape architecture in Swedish professional journals look today? Does it exist at all? What is criticism and what is its purpose? These questions have been the starting point for this degree project. I have found a lot of different answers among journals, books and websites, as well as in interviews with five persons that all have a relation to the landscape architecture criticism in different ways. These answers may look a bit disjointed at first, but are at a closer examination pointing in the same direction ? that the criticism of landscape architecture projects hardly exists today.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how six students who attend a high school relate to their multilingualism and emphasize how their multilingualism has affected their views of themselves and their identity. The fundamental questions were:How do six students who attend a secondary school relate to their multilingualism?How has students' multilingualism affected their views of themselves and their identity?I did use a qualitative research method in terms of interviews to receive answers for my inquiries.Carla Jonsson (2010) speaks inter alia about ?the third space? which concerns adolescents creating a ?third room?. Almqvist (2006) believes that adolescents that are exposed to discrimination and prejudices can lead to them turning their backs on society in disappointment. Boyd (1985) has, in his thesis, found that multilingual students communicate with the majority language and with their mother tongue with their parents.

The aim was also to study if the staff reconstruct traditional gender roles and if this can be seen as an advantage or disadvantage in the treatment. Finally the aim was to investigate if the staff encouraged the clients to break loose from the traditional gender roles. A qualitative approach using face to face interviews was used.

SammanfattningDetta examensarbete har skrivits av Rune Bolin och Mattias Lindberg. Båda läser på lärarprogrammet vid Uppsala universitet och ämnar ta examen för grundskolans senare år och gymnasiet.Arbetet har behandlat orientalism och eurocentrism i läroböckers framställningar om hinduism under tiden 1970-2010 och vilket meningserbjudande det medfört. Studien tar avstamp i teorier om orientalism och eurocentrism. Utifrån dessa har representationer av hinduism undersökts med hjälp av en diskursanalytisk metod. Syftet är att undersöka läroböcker och dess beskrivning av hinduism och om denna framställning har förändrats över tid, samt att synliggöra det meningserbjudande som ges i de valda läroböckerna.Analysen har synliggjort tre teman i de läroböcker som har undersökts.

BAKGRUND: I massmedia diskuteras ofta om hur barn med annat språk än svenska misslyckas med att integreras i samhället och hur dessa barn har det svårt att nå godkänt betyg i kärnämnena, svenska, engelska och matematik. Enligt Hyltenstam, K. & Lindberg (2004, s.17) är en viktig förklaring till detta misslyckande att undervisningen i svenska som andraspråk inte bedrivs enligt intentionerna i styrdokumenten. Detta problem kan begränsa barnens möjligheter senare i deras skolgång och yrkesliv.SYFTE: Vårt syfte med studie är att undersöka och beskriva hur skolor arbetar med flerspråkighet.Våra frågeställningar är:? Hur resonerar verksamma pedagoger kring flerspråkighet?? Hur stöttas flerspråkiga elever i skolan??
