This study is about care managers, who process in the care of the elderly, regarding to needs, rules, regulations, guidelines and their freedom of space. The purpose with this study is to understand how the care managers process out of the basis from the needs of the elderly, the municipal guidelines in relation to the caremanagers freedom of space.The study has a qualitative approach and is based on semistructured interviews with five different care managers.To analyze our interview material we have use the street-level bureaucrat theory by Lipsky and Johansson and the theoretical idea empowerment. Before we started our research about care managers we had an understanding in that the organization had an influence in the judgment of the needs of the elderly. Now we have an understanding in that the relative to the elderly is the one who wants to affect the care manager during the judgment of needs in what effort to make. Our study indicates that it exist insecurity regarding to the municipal guidelines, which was surprising. We thought that the guideline was something positive and a help full tool for the care managers.The result in our research points out that the guidelines makes insecurity instead of comfort.Our study shows that the care managers are contradictory regarding to their freedom of space. In the other hand they consider that their freedom of space is positive, but on the other hand when the municipal guidelines don´t work, they become worried and insecure.It´s the none working municipal guidelines who gives the care managers a huge freedom of space. Which leads to that the care managers is afraid of doing misjudgments. Our result don´t distinguish from other studies made in this subject area. .

The goal of this Master?s thesis is to explore the approach and general attitude of public libraries regarding Sign Language Literature. There is a need to study and advance how the deaf can find ways to read in their own language, as it is as important to them to be able to read in their language, as it is to the next hearing person. The purpose is to define and explain the full capacity of the problem. In the process of research, by investigating how library staff approaches and deal with deaf patrons, the nature of the patron-staff relationship is revealed.

Vi har kommit fram till att de flesta människor är miljömedvetna och intresserade av att återvinna pantenheter och hjälpa till med välgörenhet, men för att maximera deras goda gärningar krävs att de har full insyn i vart de insamlade pengarna tar vägen samt att de vill ha möjlighet att välja till vilket ändamål pengarna ska skänkas. Vi har genom en enkät på 19 frågor sammanställt våra respondenters svar och härlett dessa svar till undersökta teorier. Undersökningen har gjorts med hjälp av en kvantitativ enkätundersökning med målet att se deras syn på återvinning, miljö och välgörenhet. Vi ville även se om och vilka faktorer som kan påverka människor för ökad medvetenhet och intresse att göra en god gärning. Till undersökningen valde vi att titta närmare på olika teorier inom Socialt beteende, Påverkanstaktik, Miljö, Återvinning och Välgörenhet.

In query expansion (QE) terms are added to an initial query in order to improve retrieval effectiveness. In this thesis we use QE in the sense that a reformulation of the query is done by deleting the terms in the initial query and instead replacing them with terms from the documents retrieved in the initial run. The aim of this thesis is to, in a experimental full text invironment, study and compare the retrieval result of two different query expansion strategies in relation to each other. The following questions are addressed by the study: How do the two strategies perform in relation to each other regarding recall? What may be causing the result? Are the two strategies retrieving the same relevant documents? Two strategies are designed to simulate a searcher using automatic query expansion (AQE) either with or without relevance feedback.

Aspekter som frekvens och förödelse vid ett hot men även hur viktig datan är, är olika aspekter som måste utvärderas för att kunna anpassa och investera i rätt typ av skydd. Denna studie jämför två svenska IT-relaterade företag i varierande storlekar med avsikten att undersöka om det finns en relation mellan datasäkerhetsmedvetandet och företagens storlek, eller om det finns en annan relation som påverkar graden av säkerhetsmedvetenhet i en organisation.

The door and its surrounding, is an important part of all buildings. It often amount to a significant part of buildings total costs. The more demands of functions the largerdoes the costs grow.The purpose of this report is to analyze those demands and how to fulfill them.Another purpose is to examine of which reasons the cost grow and how to avoid it inthe best possible way. The study will be performed in collaboration with Bjerking AB. To define the demands a literature study will also be performed.

Already in the late 1970´s it became clear that the traditional catalogs in libraries were not suited for children, neither their interests nor their way expressing themselves were accounted for. The goal of this thesis is to investigate if and how children?s OPACs (Open public access catalogs) interface design is at present adapted to the presumed audience of children. My method consists of literature studies and an investigation on the graphical interfaces in OPACs for children, according to the five criteria formulated by childrens library consultant Lena Lundgren and IT-consultant Kia Gumbel. The aims are to find out: a) what requirements for children?s OPAC interfaces and their usability are defined in literature and b) what the actual (real) features of the children?s OPAC interfaces are.

Syfte: Sammanställa och granska studier gällande postoperativ behandling vid ruptur av ligament patella. Detta för att beskriva effekt och kvalitet på studier om postoperativ behandling.Metod: En beskrivande litteraturstudie valdes som design, med sökorden: patellar ligament, patellar tendon, rupture, knee injuries, surgery. Av totalt 1240 träffar valdes 13 relevanta artiklar publicerade mellan 1999-2013 efter sökningar i databaserna PubMed, PEDro, COCHRANE, SCOPUS, CINAHL, SPORTDiscus och AMED. Artiklarna kvalitetsgranskades enligt PEDro scale.Resultat: Två postoperativa behandlingar beskrevs, tidig och sen mobilisering. Antingen placeras knäleden i ett stabiliserande knäskydd som till en början låser knäleden i full extension eller så påbörjas tidig mobilisering av den opererade knäleden.

Vårt syfte i denna uppsats är att undersöka om Dubai kan vara en potentiell marknad för Swedbank och detta kommer att göras genom en jämförelse med etableringsprocessen i Kina. Vi vill även poängtera att vi genom denna undersökning kommer fokusera på sökningsfasen som är början på ett företags ingångsfas på en ny marknad. Därefter är vi intresserade att ta reda på de möjligheter som marknaden och dess aktörer erbjuder, vilket i sin tur leder till en ny fas, dvs. projektfasen. Vi har med denna uppsats kommit fram till att Dubai har en stor potential för bankbranschen vid en etablering då man bland annat kan vara en del av frizon med full ägandekontroll.

Processes difficult for an individual to distinguish and understand surround political decision-making. The purpose of this study is to investigate the decision process for a specific political issue, Swedish wine producers' desire to be able to sell their own wine at their vineyard; gårdsförsäljning. This is currently prohibited in the Swedish model due to an alcohol monopoly.

This essay studies the relationship between politicians and municipal chief officers from the point of view of the bureaucracy and its role in democracy and the substance of the chief position. I conducted interviews and observations with politicians and senior officials from the local public administration in Bromölla. The roles of the chief officer and politicians have certain common characteristics which makes it difficult to separate them. Senior officials working full time in contrast to part time politicians give them an advantage in the political process. Budget cut backs both enhance the role of politicians and chief officers in the administrative organisation.

This thesis will explore how swedish Talang 2010 used their strategic communication in Kalmar and Stockholm and how the effect of this work was shown in the two cities. With a focus on how the sender was working with the external communication in the two cities, the heart of the research was studying Talang 2010?s communication strategy in these two contexts. The research was made with surveys during two audition days in Kalmar and two days in Stockholm. The competitors, the audience and the general public were answering different surveys but with the same base to study the effect.

Syfte: Studiens syfte ?r att unders?ka vilka bakomliggande faktorer som p?verkar ?terg?ngen eller avslutet till idrott efter en l?ngtidsskada hos kvinnliga innebandyspelare i ?ldern 16?19 ?r. Metod: Studien ?r baserad p? en kvalitativ metod som grundar sig i sex semistrukturerade intervjuer. Deltagarna har tagits fram genom sn?bollsurval, bekv?mlighetsurval samt avsiktligt urval. Intervjuerna av de sex kvinnliga innebandyspelarna som haft en l?ngtidsskada transkriberades och genomgick b?de en tematisk analys samt en kvalitativ inneh?llsanalys.

Vilka var de viktigaste faktorerna till att fyra individer lyckades bryta med sin kriminella bakgrund? Samtliga informanter studien bygger pa? a?r medlemmar i en organisation som hja?lper individer med en bakgrund kantad av kriminalitet och droger tillbaka ut i det konventionella samha?llet. Informanterna valdes ut genom en kombination av sno?bollsurval och bekva?mlighetsurval. Studien baseras pa? narrativa djupintervjuer samt deltagande observationer.
