Denna kvalitativa intervjustudie handlar om hur man, med sångundervisning, kan stärka elevers självförtroende.Syftet med studien är att få en fördjupad inblick i hur självförtroende och självkänsla samverkar med sångundervisning. Vi ville se hur sångelevers självförtroende har påverkats under ett längre tidsspann och av olika perioder i livet. Våra frågeställningar syftar till att få en fördjupad insikt i hur sångundervisning samspelar med självförtroende, vilka begrepp och hur samtalet om sångundervisning, dess diskurs kommer till uttryck.Vi har intervjuat sex musikhögskolestudenter med inriktning sång. Vi kom fram till att avgörande för dem var att läraren gav dem bekräftelse i form av positiv feedback och det, i sin tur, har påverkat deras självförtroende i fortsatta musikstudier..

The purpose with this essay is to examine the phenomenon SMS in TV. Partly by identify the communication process behind the phenomenon and partly by describing it in a editorial and technical point of view. We have analysed the communication process regarding scientific theories in communication, interaction and convergence. With a qualitive approach we have fulfilled four interviews and two small ethnographical field observations. Objects for the interviews and observations have been two Swedish produced debate-programs, broadcasted in TV; Diskus in TV4 and Debatt in SVT2.

This report discusses a method to detect divers in harbour environments usingpassive acoustic detection. The goal was to achieve as high detection as possiblewithout having too high false alarm rate. A short execution time was also desirable.By using the characteristic of an inhalation a band-pass filter was applied to the signalto improve the signal to noise ratio. After the filtering an energy estimation of thesignal was made. This energy estimation was later used in a frequency analysis, whichcould tell us if there were enough energy in the frequencies that correspond to adivers breathing frequency.

Background: Prostate cancer is the fourth most common cancer disease in the world and affects mainly older men. While having prostate cancer the treatment can be both medical and surgical and both these treatments can give side effects like erectile dysfunction, lost libido and hot flushes. Sexuality among elderly is often associated with taboo, but sexuality exists among elderly and is important for their wellbeing and quality of life. It is common that nurses don?t address and discuss questions concerning sexuality with patients, even though they know that sexuality often is affected while having a disease or experiencing illness.

We have examined how the dependence, identity and social bonds affect customer loyalty and attachment to a training centre. The method used is a survey on SATS Karlstad city where 128 respondents were asked, out of which 118 surveys were used in the final analysis. The data was analyzed using ANCOVA and multiple regressions.The result showed significant relationships on attachment between identity and dependence. Social bonds had no significant effect on the attachment a member have towards training centre. Customer loyalty was measured by how long the individual has been a member and his or her training frequency.

The aim of this study is to describe and analyze the history and the current situation of the Church of Sweden. The renovation of Skalljö church in Lerum municipality has been used as an example to enlighten the common changes in the church buildings. The reason why the Heritage Conservation Act (1988:950) was altered in January 2000 was due to the change of relations between the State and the Church of Sweden. The thesis demonstrates a low-cost, low-bandwidth and low-resolution Analog-to- Digital Converter(ADC) in 0.35 um CMOS Process. A second-order Sigma-Delta modulator is used as the basis of the A/D Converter. A Semi-Uniform quantizer is used with the modulator to take advantage of input distributions that are dominated by smaller-amplitude signals e.g. Audio, Voice and Image-sensor signals. A Single-bit feedback topology is used with a multi-bit quantizer in the modulator.

SammanfattningSyfteSyftet med denna studie var att ta reda på om akut visuell biofeedback i form av EMG, från qudriceps och hamstrings kan öka knäextensorernas muskelaktivitet samt styrkeutvecklingen, vid en maximal viljemässig isokinetisk benspark (20o.s-1). MetodTotalt deltog 19 aktiva och motiverade försökspersoner, 9 kvinnor och 10 män, i denna studie. Försökspersonerna rekryterades under förutsättningarna att de inte hade några knäskador samt att de inte bedrev någon typ av kontinuerlig styrketräning för benen. Testet bestod av två omgångar koncentriska och excentriska maximala viljemässiga isokinetiska muskelaktioner (MVC) för respektive ben. Knävinkelhastigheten var 20o.s-1 och rörelseomfånget var 60o, från120o till 180o där 180o motsvarar sträckt knä. EMG-feedback från knämuskulaturen visades endast i omgång två då försökspersonen utförde kontraktioner med höger ben.

The aim of the study was to investigate how a significant other of threepersons with Parkinson?s disease experienced the communication in conversation. Astructured interview and analysis of a video recorded conversation was performed.The questions in the interview were aimed at mapping the significant others?experience of communicative problems, their frequency, degree and conversationstrategies used by a significant other in conversation. The result showed that thesignificant others? experienced problems in communication related to the disease inseveral different areas for two of three participants with Parkinson?s disease.

When we started this study we quickly saw that almost all the previous research that we find was focused and concentrated on the fact that the employees should be motivated. The research also presents a top-down perspective which means from the head to the employee. A Swedish newspaper wrote in an article that 1/3 of all Swedish heads can?t motivate their employers. A Swedish internet platform discusses this and says that heads need to be motivated to be able to motivate people around himself.
