Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva hur det är att leva med någon annan människas hjärta eller lever i sin kropp. En begränsning gjordes till enbart transplantationer av hjärtan och lever eftersom dessa har det gemensamt att donatorn måste vara död för att kunna transplantera ett sådant organ. Sammanlagt analyserades åtta kvalitativa vetenskapliga artiklar med en manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Detta resulterade i fem slutkategorier: att vara tacksam över sitt nya liv och leva varje dag fullt ut: kroppen som ett hot och ett hinder: att få stöd från människor runt omkring och från tron på Gud: att känna sorg och skuldkänslor över donatorns död: att ångra transplantationen. Personer kände en stor tacksamhet för gåvan till nytt liv och de ville därmed leva varje dag fullt ut.

Problems can arise from cultural differences in connection with that persons face in society and in international collaboration. In this study, I assume theoretical framework that exists in cultural and communication theme and professionalism to find common objectives within educated groups.Method: The purpose of this study, I have chosen to use a qualitative approach.

The wide spread of the Internet and new information technologies in recent years has come to effect how libraries manage and disseminate information. Search engines like Google are widely used by people who often find the information retrieval systems of libraries to be too complicated. In 2004 Google announced plans to digitise five major library collections. Organisations representing the publishing industry and authors have since then filed lawsuits against Google claiming that Googles scanning of library books infringe the rights holders copyright. Due to Googles potential impact on libraries this thesis aims to examine how Googles digitisation project, Google Book Search, has been received in the library community.

Coastman (Coastal Zone Management in the Baltic Sea Region) är ett internationellt INTERREG III B projekt och drivs av avdelningen för Industriell Ekologi på KTH tillsammans med Stockholms Stadsbyggnadskontor och ett antal universitet/kommuner runt Östersjön. Projektet innebär att värdera erfarenheter och metoder för kustzons planering där olika intressekonflikter finns kring såväl ekologiska, sociala och ekonomiska aspekter. Den Svenska fallstudien i projektet avser nedläggningen av oljeterminalen Loudden. Loudden är den största oljedepån i östra mellan Sverige och hanterar bensin, olika oljor och diesel. 1999 fattade Stockholms kommunfullmäktige beslutet att Loudden ska avvecklas och upphöra till år 2011.

Denna uppsats handlar om fattigvården i Borgstena socken under 1854-1863 och syftar till att undersöka hur fattigvårdsorganisationen såg ut, vilka som bestämde i socken, vilka de fattiga var samt i vilken utsträckning vården svarade för gällande nationell fattigvårdsförordning. För att avhandla detta har källor i form av fattigvårdsstyrelseprotokoll, sockennämndprotokoll och husförhörslängder sammanställts och därefter kompletterats med hembygdsföreningen i Borgstenas framtagna sockenbok som gavs ut 2011. Med detta material har fattigvårdsstatistik samt aktörer och deras livsberättelser blivit till, och med hjälp av dessa har frågeställningen kunnat besvaras. Slutsatserna som uppsatsen utmynnat i är att de som satt i fattigvårdsstyrelsen var de som ägde sin gård och ibland hade unika ställningar i socken. Det fattiga karaktäriserades av kvinnor i högre grad än män, av torpare eller av före detta torpare och av individer främst från gruppen som var över 61 år.

AbstractThe Swedish society has always been monolingual, but has for the past decades transformed into a multicultural and multilingual society. The aim of this study is to investigate if and in that case how preschool teachers work with language development in bilingual and multicultural preschools. The concept of linguistic and cultural diversity includes several different components, not least the social interactions that are of great importance to every individual's development, learning and participation in the world. By understanding the importance of language, language development and the role of mother tongue in second language acquisition, we look into various researches done concerning the effects of the preschool teachers? opinions, methods used to language developmental primarily for children who are multilingual and how the physical environment is shaped to promote language in multicultural and multilingual preschools.The method used in this study is semi-structured interviews with preschool teacher working in multicultural or bilingual preschool settings.

The subject-matter of the following essay is to investigate the relationship between what is commonly called Deep Ecology or Biocentric Philosophy, as articulated by the co-founder of the Deep Ecology Movement, Arne Naess, and later proponents of the biocentric school of environmentalist thought. I contrast Naess? concept of Self-realization as founded in his Ecosophy T to the ideas of american conservationist and co-founder of the radical green movement Earth First! Dave Foreman, and to the controversial finnish environmentalist and ecofascist Pentti Linkola?s ideological agenda of population-reduction respectively.According to some critics of the movement, especially the social ecologist Murray Bookchin and French liberal philosopher Luc Ferry, the Deep Ecology ideology is essentially misanthropic and totalitarian in structure. A central idea among deep ecologists is that ecosystems and natural entities have intrinsic value in themselves, even outside a human social context. This idea is thought of among deep ecologists to create a philosophically sound basis for counteracting the environmental global crisis.
