Title:Employer Branding ? Medias Influence on Vattenfall?s Employer Brand (Employer Branding ? Medias påverkan på Vattenfalls arbetsgivarvarumärke) Purpose/Aim:The aim of this study is to examine how a negative media image influences the Employer Brand of the Swedish company Vattenfall. First of all I will examine if Vattenfall have a strong Employer Brand and then if the media image have any influence over the Employer Brand. My hypothesis is that Vattenfall?s Corporate Culture is a big part of the Employer Brand and because of that negative media images has no power to influence on Vattenfall?s Employer Brand.

En klar definition på vad branschen egentligen omfattar finns ännu inte och detta medför viss osäkerhet kring begreppet. Många företag utger sig för att vara Cleantechbolag men i själva verket handlar det om att deras interna processer förbättras ur ett miljöperspektiv. Författarna till denna rapport har valt att utgå från att ett Cleantechbolag är ett bolag som erbjuder en produkt eller tjänst som i sig är en, ur miljöaspekt gynnsam, lösning på ett problem. The report describes the thesis I, Philip Bergstrom, have done at the University of Gotland. The work comprises 15 credits and is at bachelor level and has been done in collaboration with Lyktan Bankeryd Belysning.The project consists of developing the design of a kitchen lamp for the Swedish home following the catchwords stripped French bistro that will fit into the Lyktan Bankeryd lighting spring collection 2013, and it should not look too alike any existing lamp on the market today.The work includes analysis of the company's current products and the image the company wants to project, analysis of three other companies' products to draw inspiration from, and a simple ergonomic study of the lights in the kitchen.The final result achieves the demands made and fits well in the intended environment, there is also the possibility for further development of both a floor lamp and a wall lamp..

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the role of language and culture as ethnical identification factors and illustrate how these have been used as political weapons by the Serb regime in Kosovo during the last decade. The thesis discusses the concept of ethnicity, the relations between the politics of identity, nationalism, ethnic mobilization and the importance of language and culture. Kosovo has historically been characterized by severe ethnic antagonism between Serbs and Albanians. Different languages, cultures and religions beside political processes led to ethnic cleavages that paved the way for ethnocentrism, ethnonationalism, chauvinism, ethnic cleansing and civil war. Since 1989, the Serbian authorities have intervened in all important spheres of life, in an attempt to Serbianize Kosovo.

We look specifically at changes in religious practice, culture and mentality, as well as how religious philosophy is used as a tool for limiting the negative impact of tourism. The methods used are semi-structured interviews and participant observations. Central themes in the following essay are globalization in the form of tourism, westernization, subsystem theory and capitalism, which also make up the theoretical framework.

The Key Success Factors of Grameen Bank - A Case Study of Strategic, Cultural and Structural Aspects

The thesis aims to analyze strategic, cultural and structural aspects of Grameen Bank and its micro-credit project, in order to identify key success factors. A case study was performed with an inductive and qualitative approach, using semi-structured interviews. AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to analyse and interpret artist Hans Hedberg?s monumental, ceramic reliefs in Sweden and France. Hedberg is internationally famous for his ceramic fruits and eggs in different glaces and formats. A mostly unknown side of his artistic production is that he produced about 50 ceramic reliefs during the 1950s and up to the 1970s in public buildings. Hedberg was one of very few foreign artists in France, who, during a long period of time, produced monumental, public reliefs for the French state.

The aim of this essay is to describe the historical development of the intercultural teacher training program at Södertörn University in Stockholm. I have also examined how the intercultural teacher training program was started, how and why it became intercultural and how the people in charge of the development of the teacher training program discussed intercultural science. The teacher training program has been an active part of Södertörn University since 1998, but it became intercultural in 2002. I have studied these questions through documents from the Södertörn University archives and literature by the funders of the education. The study shows that the university profile, ambitions and motives have been a key factor in the decision to make the teacher training program at Södertörn a multi-cultural one..

Titel: Förklaringar till varför ersättning till VD och styrelse är olika - En studie om ersättningars form och funktion.Bakgrund: Ersättning till VD är generellt sätt högre än den ersättning en styrelse erhåller. Vi ämnar studera varför ersättningarna mellan organen skiljer sig åt i den utsträckning de gör och vad det kan bero på.Syfte: Förklara varför ersättningarnas form och funktion skiljer sig åt mellan VD och styrelse.Metod: Utgå från tidigare forskning och genomföra statistiska analyser av kontrollvariabler, för att sedan studera hur resultaten i testerna förändras när vi tillför våra egna variabler, som mäter skillnader i uppgifter hos VD och styrelse, och observera ifall signifikanta samband till ersättningarna kan utläsas.Resultat: Utifrån våra statistiska tester erhöll vi ett positivt signifikant samband med hur VD:ar har yttrat sig i VD-breven i årsredovisningarna, och VD:ns rörliga ersättning. Vilket visar på att en specifik uppgift för VD genererar en högre ersättning till denne. Detta tyder på att en skillnad i uppgifter mellan organen VD och styrelse, kan förklara varför det finns nivåskillnader i ersättningarna till de båda organen. Vidare kunde inga empiriska samband till VD:ns fasta ersättning, eller styrelsens fasta ersättning hänföras till våra variabler som mätte skillnader i uppgifter.Slutsatser: Vi kan konstatera att VD:ns rörliga ersättning påverkas av hur denne uttalat sig i VD-breven i årsredovisningarna.
