Detta arbete har utförts för att visa på att även till synes små hinder och problem inom materialtransporter för vägprojekt kostar stora pengar. Alla data är hämtade från Projekt Rv90 Etapp 3 som Skanska Sverige utförde sommaren 2005 utanför Sollefteå. Arbetet försöker visa på hur det bör fungera inom byggbranschen gällande kalkylering, täkt, transport och mottagning jämfört med hur verkligheten ser ut idag. Eftersom detta arbete kan göras hur stort som helst med noggrannare mätningar och utförligare intervjuer, har undertecknad varit tvungen att begränsa det till den externa materialförsörjning och fördjupning inom de områden som kan kostar mera pengar. Tio personer som dagligen jobbar med detta har intervjuats, för att få deras synpunkter och tankegångar kring detta.

This essay started with a describing of Vision2020 that aims to get incoming tourism doubled and to make global travellers choose Sweden as their destination at the first place. Furthermore, we discuss those 12 priority markets that a Swedish leading communications company in the tourism Visit Sweden puts effort and promotes. Poland was not on the list of the selected countries. With our research we aim to show that the Polish market has potential. Compelling factors point to that Sweden and Poland are neighbour countries with good transport connections and, not least, that the countries have long historical relationships with each other.

Luvata Sweden AB, Finspång, tillverkar tunna kopparband till fordons- och elektro-nikindustrin. Koppar har en förmåga att kemiskt reagera med den omgivande luften. Detta orsakar att kopparn missfärgas - det vill säga att metallen får en avvinkade färg. För att undvika att kopparn missfärgas under transport till kund, behandlas banden med ett missfärgningsskydd. Vid enstaka tillfällen fallerar dock detta skydd med missnöjda kunder och reklamationer som följd.Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka möjligheten att reducera problemet med missfärgning.

This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

In present there is no Swedish legislation regulating bareboat registration of Swedish ships. Despite this absence however shipowners with vessels already registered in the Swedish Vessel Register do not hesitate to take advantage of the positive aspects of bareboat registration and thereby allowing the registration of their ships in another State as well. The fact that there is a lack of legislation in this area has left a legal loophole resulting in Swedish ships being registered in a second State without any regulation providing options or protection for the different parties involved. With this as a background, the main objective of this thesis is to analyze parallel registration of ships, its consequences and the future of dual registration in Sweden. To fulfil this objective another aim is to impart a collected legal and economical presentation of the problems that may occur when a bareboat chartered vessel is registered in two different States simultaneously.

Som en del i Maskiningenjörsutbildningen vid Karlstads Universitet har detta examensarbete utförts under höstterminen 2013. Uppdragsgivaren är Barillagruppen som är världens största producent av pasta och pastasåser samt Europas ledande bagerikoncern. I Sverige känner vi främst igen varumärkena Barilla och Wasa, den senare är världens största producent av knäckebröd. Produkter med varumärket Wasa produceras idag vid fabrikerna i Filipstad och i Celle i Tyskland. The thesis was performed at Forsmarks Kraftgrupp AB in the department ofmechanical engineering, FTCM. Forsmark nuclear power plant has had problems with cracks in some of the controlrods which are placed in the reactor at Forsmark 3. To investigate the cause of this,material samples were taken from five of the damaged control rods. This sampling ofthe rods resulted too short rods to be transported in the shipping container to theinterim storage facility for used nuclear fuel in Oskarshamn. Control rods are crucial components in a nuclear reactor, regulating the reactoreffect by blocking or unblocking fuel rods. Control rods which have been in thereactor are always handled under water in order to protect against the radiation theyemit. The task was to design a control rod adapter that extends the control rod sotransport can be performed from Forsmark. The goal of the work was a complete setof blueprints so the control rod adapter can be manufactured and mounted on theshort control rods and then be transported to the interim storage facility. The work began with mapping of how control rods normally being handled from thereactor to the interim storage facility.

As for today, a large quantity of protein feeds is imported from other countries to be used in the Swedish dairy production. The main import is soya from Brazil. The soya-production in Brazil results in negative consequences for the natural environment in the area, and the long transport of the feeds requires a lot of energy. The organic dairy production in Sweden is, with the highest probability going to be forced to use 100 % organic feed to the cows in the year 2005, due to new EU-rules. These are some of the causes why there are reasons to look closer at the possibilities to feed Swedish cows with only Swedish feeds. In this study, I have looked at the KRAV-rules for organic feeding, where the goal is feeding with only KRAV-approved feeds.

The purpose of this essay is to examine one of Sweden's oldest motorways in cityenvironment. The researched section is motorway E20 east of Gothenburg. Olskroksmotetin the west and Jonsered junction in the east, a distance of about 11 km. The mainquestion was, can maintenance of areas and objects related to the motorway give greatermeaning to a system that currently lacks historical connection?The survey was partly an archival study and partly a physical examination of themotorway and its appearance today.The road through Säveedalen from Gothenburg has a long history that begins with theriver and its valley as transport routes.

Animals in zoos live in small enclosed areas. If a pathogen is introduced to the zoo, the animals are extremely vulnerable. The highest risk of introducing new pathogens occurs when new animals are introduced to the collection. Therefore it is essential that zoos have a protocol in place for disease prevention. This review has studied literature on the subject of disease prevention protocols when translocating animals between zoos.

This thesis analyzes the effects of export subsidies on Swedish cereal export. The analyzes are based on data on cereal export from Sweden to countries outside the EU from 1990 to 2003. In 1995 Sweden became a member of the European Union. Before the membership, the Swedish agricultural policy was decoupled in a larger sense than the European CAP was, which means that the Swedish producers had decreased their production more than the European farmers. When Sweden became a member of the EU the production started to increase again to an EU level.

De elever som går på gymnasieskolans transportutbildning ska utbildas enligt Skolverkets gymnasiekurser för att nå Skolverkets kunskapskrav. För att erhålla körkort och yrkeskompetensbevis ska eleverna utbildas och nå målen enligt Transportstyrelsens (TS) kursplaner för aktuella körkortsbehörigheter samt yrkeskompetensbevis. Dessutom ska de elever som påbörjat sin gymnasieutbildning efter den 1 juli 2011 ha gymnasieexamen för att erhålla körkortsbehörighet C (tung lastbil), körkortsbehörighet CE (tung lastbil med tungt släp) samt yrkeskompetensbevis. Gymnasieskolans transportutbildning ska alltså följa dubbla kursplaner, Skolverkets och TS. I mitt arbete som lärare på olika transportutbildningar har jag upplevt uttalade och outtalade schismer, ofta i samband med tolkning av kursplaner och andra reglerande dokument.

Sedan industrialismens start har människan påverkat klimatbalansen genom förbränning av fossila bränslen. Rökgasemissionerna förorsakade av internationell sjöfart kan inte tillskrivas någon särskild nations ansvar på grund av dess globala och komplicerade verksamhet. FN:s sjöfartsorgan IMO har således åtagit sig ansvaret att minska sjöfartens miljöpåverkan. Införandet av nya miljömål har resulterat i strängare globala och nationella regler som tvingar sjöfartsnäringen till omfattande anpassningar under kort tid. Som lösning för att uppfylla kommande krav gällande rökgasemissioner har flertalet alternativa bränslen diskuterats.
