Introduction: Parents have been shown to be of great importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Parenting practices such as control, open communication and good relations within the family have shown to be protective factors, whereas lack of communication and weak social and emotional support have been associated with an increased risk for cannabis use among adolescents. Aim: The aim of the study has been to explore parents? perceptions about their own importance in preventing cannabis use among adolescents. Method: A qualitative method consisting of focus group interviews has been used to fulfill the aim.

In a world of ?formal organizations?, which is constantly exposed for institutionalized super standards and ideas of a what a modern orgnization should be like, the pressure for changes are strong. This is the environment in which Lund University finds itself. Ideas in the beginning of the 21-century is concerning a stronger emfasis on steering, centralisation, re-hieriarchyzation, standardised processes and a new regulation concerning internal control. Through theories of new institutionalism, with conceptions as organizational identity and the expectations of adapting to new ideas, can you track the translation and adaptation that the ideas go through at the university- a decentralised organization where not only freedom has been a concept for the academic parts, but also for the administration.

The study has shown that retailers in the mid-price segment differentiate their brand through developing a strong company identity around the brand. The personality involves store atmosphere, merchandise and advertising. Larger companies have chosen to lay the responsibility on management level, which facilitates on store level. By controlling the strategies on a central level the company can make sure that the stores are steered in the direction that the company wants them to be steered in, and also that they follow the positioning-concept. The company can also devote its efforts to working with its core value, which is service.

The three post-communist states - Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine ? have gone different ways in terms of freedom and democracy since the breakdown of the Soviet Union 1991. During these years, the state and the civil society have been fundamental actors in the struggle against, and even for, authoritarianism.A strong state with great capacity in Belarus has undermined the chances for the civil society to fulfil its task as a watchdog of the state and link between the citizens and the government.Failed authoritarianism in Moldova has led to a situation where both the state and the civil society are weak. The major problem is lack of organization and cohesion; both the state and the civil society have often been divided by ethnical differences and are therefore not strong enough to promote democracy.In Ukraine, the dominance of a strong state ended in 2004 when the Orange Revolution took place, sometimes called a ?peak of democracy? where popular mobilization and protests succeeded in it's opposition against the state.

When the producers? responsibility for packaging was introduced in Sweden in 1994 the industry set up public recycling stations to facilitate the collection of the waste material. In order to establish recycling stations at suitable locations the municipalities assist the industry?s service organization for operation of the recycling stations, the Package and Newspaper Collection Service (Förpacknings- och tidningsinsamlingen, FTI). The objectives of this thesis are to improve the service of the public recycling stations within Lidingö town and to increase the accessibility to these stations for the inhabitants of Lidingö.

In this project we have used the theory of analytical mechanics to derive equations of motion for complex mechanical systems in order to study their behaviour over time. Even if the theory provides powerful tools to tackle tough problems which would be very hard to solve by methods of Newtonian mechanics, you are still relatively limited without running any computer simulations. One realises that in a faster rate it will be an incredibly difficult task to find an analytical solution when the degrees of freedom increases. Even if one would succeed to derive the equations, one still has to solve them to get the information of the systems behavior. Of experience one knows that the equations in general are nonlinear and hence must be integrated numericaly.

Bakgrund och problem Medvetenheten och intresset för företagens ansvarsroll i samhället har ökat. Idag har debatten till mångt och mycket kommit att handla om ett samlingsbegrepp för samhällsansvar - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Läkemedelsföretagens kärnverksamhet är att förbättra människors hälsa och livskvalitet och därmed kan det ses som att CSR redan är integrerat i företagens kärnverksamhet. Motiven till varför läkemedelsföretag arbetar med CSR är således inte självklara. Problemformulering AstraZeneca och Pfizer arbetar med CSR trots att deras kärnverksamhet redan kan sägas innehålla ett samhällsansvar.

Today  Real  estate  companies  face  the  challenge  where  extensive  renovations  on  existinghousing built before 1980 must be performed. Conditions have changed and the housing need performance-­?enhancing measures that meet today's quality. With a current renovation rate,  it  would  take  30  years  to  meet  the  renovation  needs.  The  renovation  rate  must therefore rise dramatically, which requires the real estate companies to act consistently in accordance with commercial principles and in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible way.The  paper  discusses  renovation  strategies  in  four  municipal  housing  companies  in  the Stockholm  suburbs.  The  report  includes  surveys  of  four  ongoing  renovation  projects; Fastighets AB Förvaltaren in Sundbyberg project Hundloken 3, Stiftelsen Signalisten in Solna project Ritorp, Sollentunahem in Sollentuna project Svalgången och Väsbyhem in Upplands Väsby project Dragonvägen. The main purpose of this study was to analyze the practices of redevelopment projects.

 The aim with this essay is to examine the individual's expectations in the meeting with a job coach. It has become all more common with job coaches, in order to meet the unemployment in the society. The survey builds on a quantitative method, where 29 individuals who are linked to a changeover-program towards new jobs, have replied to a questionnaire. The survey shows that the participants have expectations on the coach as a supporting function. There is also a trust to that the contact with a coach will lead to new employment.

Flygtrafikledningen är en bransch som inte är särskilt synlig för allmänheten men som har stor inflytande på flygtrafiken, till exempel flygets miljöpåverkan. Det verkar heller inte talas särskilt mycket om flygtrafikledningens samhällsansvar, eller CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), varken inom eller utanför branschen, även om just CSR är ett hett ämne som företag i andra branscher oftast tar på stort allvar. Därför besvarar uppsatsen följande tre frågor: (i) hur arbetar flygtrafikledningen med CSR och hur kommunicerar man det arbetet, (ii) varför arbetar flygtrafikledningen med CSR, och (iii) vilka framtida utvecklingsmöjligheter finns för CSR inom flygtrafikledningen? För att kunna svara på dessa frågor har forskning om företags samhällsansvar generellt och med koppling till flygtrafik studerats. Empiriskt bygger studien på öppna källor (hemsidor, rapporter etc.) och kvalitativa intervjuer med representanter från flygledningsleverantörerna LFV, ACR och EUROCONTROL.

This graduate thesis deals with the challenges facing us as we gradually make our urban environments withtheir many public buildings, such as shops, cafés and cinemas, more accessible for disabled people. Theperspective taken is that of the conservationist, who in her or his profession looks to the cultural andhistorical characteristics in buildings and building environments. In order to gain better accessibility, changesin the physical fabric need to be made, with consideration for the cultural and historical characteristics.The introduction presents the subject of considarate accessibility. The second chapter deals with the legalaspects concerning the protection of buildings as well as the accessibility for disabled people. Severalinterviews with different participants are presented here, aiming to tie the legislation to the reality of theconservationist, the disabled, the civil servant working with accessibility issues and the property owner,whose responsibility it is to make the adjustments necessary to improve accessibility.

The purpose of this study is to illustrate why Norway is not a member of the EU from a rational choice perspective. In order to fulfil this purpose, two questions will constitute the framework of the study. These are:1. What are the arguments of the EU-opposers in the Norwegian EU-debate?2.

Bakgrund: CSR, det vill säga miljömedvetenhet och socialt ansvarstagande, har på senare tid kommit att stå i fokus och konsumenter ställer allt högre krav på företag. Detta har lett till att fler företag väljer att frivilligt redovisa sociala och miljömässiga frågor i och kring sin verksamhet.Problem: Redovisning av CSR bygger på frivillig information som inte regleras i svensk lag. Istället finns det ett antal standarder och riktlinjer som är till för att vägleda och underlätta för företagen i deras hållbarhetsredovisning. Dessa är emellertid många och denna uppsjö av riktlinjer samt bristen på standardiserade krav skapar därmed stor förvirring.Syfte: Problematiken kring redovisning av CSR ledde därmed fram till uppsatsens syfte. Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats är att klargöra hur större svenska företag bör arbeta för att uppnå en hög kvalitet på sin hållbarhetsredovisning och utifrån detta framtaga bästa redovisningspraxis.Metod: För att uppfylla uppsatsens syfte har ett kvalitativt tillvägagångssätt använts.

A Swedish suffragette, Ellen Key was in the forefront to form opinions that reached the population. In addition, she also became a friend to the Swedish journalist and writer Hjalmar Soderberg. In this way, Key influenced Soderbergs social knowledge and writing.
