This essay examines the way the recurring motifs in Karin Boye's poetry might be read as expressions of queer or subversive desire. The fact that the lyrical I is not gendered in the poems opens up for a queer reading. In adherence to Sara Ahmed's notion of desire lines and sexual orientation I discuss the spatial aspects of desire, and explore the positions and movements of the lyrical I in Boye's poetic landscape as deviations from the concept of the straight and marked path, into the queer and unknown.I trace desire in Boye's poetry mainly through the themes of nature and night, and the ways in which these phenomena deviate from the normative structures laid out by the poems. Usually the motifs of night (such as fog, shadows and darkness) are associated with the fading of the senses. The night obscures the vision of the lyrical I and wraps them in heavy silence, making them experience and desire in new ways. Through motifs related to nature Boye formulates a feminine, matriarchal myth.

It is said that libraries are the cornerstones of democracy.What is then the democratic mandate, and how is itperceived by the library staff? That's what I examine in thismaster's thesis. I?ve made 14 phone interviews with librarystaff, from assistants to managers, and examined what theirdaily work routine looks like and what they think belongs tothe democratic mandate. I found that all agree that there is ademocratic mandate, but it is not clearly stated in anydocument.I found seven areas that my respondents saw as part of themandate; availability, diversity, children and young people,equality, public education, free of law and cultural history.These are not sharply defined, but can often move into oneanother.

This thesis has been made in cooperation with Forsheda Stålverktyg AB which develops and manufactures injection moulds and diecasting tools. The main concern has been their Trading-system which provides them with considerable amount of quality lost function.Focus has to however be put on the analysis of the Trading-system due to the fact that this has previously meant various quality issues for the company.This thesis treats quality assurance of the Trading-system, identification of the problems in the process and improvements of these problems.Quality assurance is carried out when a company detects that their quality based costs become too high. Quality based cost are? the costs that would disappear if a company's products and its different operational processes were absolute? (Sörqvist, 2001 p.30, free translation from Swedish). High quality based costs often result in increased quality problems, which can lead to substantial economic loss for the company.This work has resulted in a thorough review of the Trading-system whereupon problems have been identified.

In this master thesis, I investigate four Public Librarys´ program activities. The purpose is to explore what the library program activities contribute to as a part of a well functioning democracy. The theoretical points, I have brought from political science. I assume three different ideals of democracy; electoral democracy, participation democracy and deliberative democracy. All have different views on what can be characterized by a well-functioning democracy.My empirical material consists of library program guides, the libraries´ target documents and interviews with staff at the libraries who work with or have overall responsibility for program activities in their respective libraries.

Scenskräck ? en ständig kamp mellan kropp och sinne. Denna studie berör en företeelse som kan komma att uppstå hos varje individ genom olika framträdanden på scen, nämligen scenskräck. Genom en kvantitativ undersökning har jag försökt få svar på hur elever kan komma att uppleva detta på en scen eller annat offentligt framträdande och svaren skiljer sig anmärkningsvärt ifrån elev till elev. 23 elever i årskurs 9 har fått besvara en enkät och som sedan i kombination med tidigare litteratur och forskning lett fram till mitt resultat.

Syftet med denna studie är att ta reda på om det bedrivs någon medveten träning i muntlig framställning i ämnet svenska på gymnasiet. Vilken attityd och inställning har lärarna till muntlig framställning och retorik och i vilken omfattning ingår det i de olika kurserna? Vidare studeras i vilken mån lärarna upplever att eleverna behöver stöd och hjälp i sin utveckling till offentliga talare.Undersökningen består av enkät och intervjuer. Resultaten visar att flera lärare bedriver ett engagerat och medvetet arbete med systematatisk talträning. Arbetet med detta omfattar i de flesta fall 30% eller mer av kurstiden.

In this study we are focusing on Instagram and marketing. We want to know how Web 2.0 and social media creates a new place for companies to market themselves and mostly how they are using the social network Instagram. The amount of swedes using Instagram is 28% and that is the double of what it was a year ago. This creates a whole new place for companies to market themselves and most importantly; it?s free.Our question at issue is In what way is fashion and interior design companies using marketing and Web 2.0 on Instagram and how does it reach individuals? To get an answer we contacted eight different companies and asked if they would like to answer some questions.

Stick- och skärskador är ett problem inom sjukvården. Förekomsten är störst inom operationsverksamhet, där stora mängder blod och andra kroppsvätskor samt vassa instrument hanteras. Genom att använda olika skyddsåtgärder som dubbla/indikatorhandskar, mun och ansiktsskydd samt användandet av preventiva arbetsmetoder som Hands-free teknik (HFT) och trubbiga nålar kan eventuella risker för blodexponering och en potentiell risk för blodsmitta minska..

In 2007 the project with the renewal of the Vasa Park in Stockholm won the Siena Prize. The architects responsible for the project described how they aimed for upgrading the park within its historical framework. Since the project was a renewal and not a restoration of the park, I thought it would be interesting to study how the architects proceeded with this work. The aim of this essay has therefore been to examine how the last renewal of the Vasa Park has chosen to approach the history of the place. To understand the historical development of the park and how the renewal project was carried out, I started with a literature survey consisting of books, the program of the renewal and articles about the project.

Begreppet ?fasfel? är ett förvirrat begrepp inom ljud- och musikproduktion. Fasfel ? eller fasutsläckningar som det mer allmänt kallas ? är ett problem som bl.a. uppkommer då flera mikrofoner används samtidigt.

Fall är den vanligaste orsaken till skador hos personer från 60 år och uppåt. Den mest frekventa dokumenterade riskfaktorn för fall är gång- och balansproblem. Balansens huvudfunktion är att koordinera kroppens hållning, jämvikt och rörelse. Vid normalt åldrande påverkas balansförmågan. Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om balansen förbättrades hos äldre individer genom balansträning.

Bakgrund: Det har visat sig att det i många fall kan vara svårt att jämföra kalkylinformation mellan likartade enheter trots att dessa använder sig av samma kalkyleringsmetoder, särskilt om enheterna i fråga är geografiskt placerade i regioner med olika kalkyleringstraditioner. Det är därför av intresse att undersöka hur kalkylinformationen kan skilja sig åt i dessa fall. Syfte: Syftet är att analysera försäljningsomkostnader med hänseende på deras urval och värdering i kalkyler. Genomförande: Vi har genomfört en casestudie med intervjuer med tre enhetschefer i den svenska divisionen samt med tre engelska chefer för motsvarande enheter i den brittiska divisionen inom en och samma globala koncern. Resultat: Vi finner i vår studie att kalkyltraditioner spelar en stor roll för vad kalkylinformationen visar, men att det även förekommer stora skillnader mellan enheter som har samma kalkyltradition.

This thesis examine if social voluntary organisations are independent or if they are being regulated by the public sector. We ask how free the organisations are since they get so much support and funding from the municipality. This is examined by looking at the homogenisation pressure, which means that organisations are being exposed by a pressure to become more similar. The control that the municipality has over the organisations is another aspect in this paper. The study focuses on the relation between the municipality of Linköping and three social voluntary organisations and their characteristics.

Detta arbete handlar om att ge riktlinjer för hur nivåbaserad åtkomstkontroll kan hanteras vid sammanslagning och replikering av distribuerade databaser. Dagens komplexa distribuerade databaser kräver hög säkerhet och det räcker ofta inte med lösenord för åtkomstkontroll. Nivåbaserad åtkomstkontroll ger möjlighet till att förbättra säkerheten genom att både användare och objekt klassas i olika säkererhetsklasser. Arbetet behandlar, utfrån specifika exempel, hantering av nivåbaserad åtkomstkontroll vid sammanslagning och replikering av distribuerade databaser. Metoden som används i arbetet är litteraturstudie.

The tradition of a strong church ruling in the Swedish society ages back to the very first start of Christianity reaching the country.  Due to the separation between the church and state in 2000 in Sweden, there have been a lot of changes. No longer would the church be able to influence the politics as it had been able to do before. Since Sweden is a democratic country, the decision had to be made in a voting amongst the parties. The purpose with this paper is to understand the argumentation made by the Swedish parties Socialdemokraterna, Kristdemokraterna and Centerpartiet. This has been made using a text analysis, which studies the argumentations made by the parties in their motions.
