The aim of this study has been to highlight the situation for young men within the context of honour. The aim has also been to highlight the restrictions of young men within the context of honour, and how they rebel against those demands. The study was based on a qualitative research method and carried out in Sweden. The results have been analyzed using the hermeneutic perspective. The results showed that the situation for young men within the context of honour is often manifested by controlling their sisters and the expectation that the young men support their families in the future by marring a woman who has been approved by the collective.

Siemens har erbjudit alla som exponerats en hälsokontroll genom sin företagshälsovårdsleverantör Haluxa Arbetsmiljö AB. Sammanlagt rör det sig om 32 personer som erbjudits hälsokontroll. Hälsokontrollen har bestått av besök hos företagssköterska, spirometri och lungröntgen. Sammanlagt har 27 personer genomgått undersökning, i alla fall dock inte alla moment.

Pneumonia is a common disease in calves. There are several causes behind the disease. The main purpose of this litterary study was to estimate what kind of nursing calves with pneumonia could benefit from, especially the evidence-based nursing recommendations for the sick calves. A further purpose was to gain knowledge of different treatments of sick calves and what kind of practical measurements that are most suitable to use in the preventive work. The results in this study shows that there are only suggestions of nursing, rather than some actual evidence-based actions. The most important nursing actions is to isolate the calves with dyspnea, prevent or treatment of hypothermia, potential dehydration and malnutrition. It is also important to make sure to place the calf on soft and dry bedding.

Strandskyddet i Sverige är en del av allemansrätten som innebär att var och en har rätt att under ansvar färdas fritt i den svenska naturen, den rätten skyddas av strandskyddslagstiftning i miljöbalken. Dispens från förbuden i strandskyddslagstiftningen kan medges av kommunen. Strandskyddslagstiftningen har sedan 2009 fått nytt innehåll, bland annat att Länsstyrelsen är den myndighet som efter att kommunen medgett strandskyddsdispens granskar och i vissa fall överprövar dessa ärenden. En ny regel som ska säkerställa att fri passage ges vid tomtplatsbestämning infördes även 2009.Ett antal överprövningsärenden har studerats för att kunna analysera tillämpningen av bestämmelserna av tomtplats och fri passage. En litteraturstudie är tänkt att svara på om krav på fri passage förekommer i andra länder.

This study investigates how the host community of Tenerife perceives the socio-cultural effects of tourism on the island. The method chosen for the study was qualitative interviews which were performed with six respondents, each born in Spain, living permanently in Tenerife and employed within service-related occupations. The interview material was interpreted and handled according to a hermeneutic approach. The results of the study showed that the respondents had an over-all positive perception of tourism. Perceived positive socio-cultural effects were related to cultural and linguistic influences.

The purpose of this study was to investigate different relations between the damages of falls and background variables as well as the relation between the falls and the weather condition to later be able to use this report to expand the knowledge among workers at VTI about the pedestrian fall injuries. All of the fall injuries in the data that this study is based on have occurred in Sweden during the time period between January 2003 and December 2011.To be able to answer the questions that this report is based on several statistical methods are used. The statistical methods that have been used during the making of this report are multiple linear regression, binary logistic regression, correlation analysis, association analysis and descriptive statistics as well as visual analysis.The results of the study show that women around menopause age have a tendency to get a big increase in the amount of injuries compared to men of the same age. The study also suggests that men on average tend to have a lower level of injury compared to women.Age also seems to affect both the amount of injuries and the level of injury negatively. The study suggests that the most likely reason for this is both that the intake of ?Fall Risk Increasing Medicine?, which is medicine that increases the drowsiness, is higher among older individuals as well as lower estrogen levels among older women and lower amount of testosterone among older men, which causes a loss of bone density in both sexes.The weather seems to have a strong effect on how many injuries occur but also a noticeable effect on the scale of the injury.

Dilaterad kardiomyopati (DCM) är en relativt vanlig och mycket allvarlig sjukdom hos hundrasen Newfoundland. Sjudomen kännetecknas av att hjärtats kontraktionsförmåga minskar vilket leder till symtom på hjärtsvikt. Syftet med studien är att undersöka om sjukdomen är ärftlig och, i så fall, sjukdomens arvsgång. Etthundrafemtio Newfoundlandhundar användes i studien vilka insamlats som en del av en molekylärgenetisk studie av DCM. Hundarna har genom olika metoder diagnostiserats med DCM (t ex ekokardiografi, histopatologi och kliniska symtom) och de som vid sju års ålder fortfarande var fria från symtom på DCM har betraktats som friska.

Resurser existerar i alla delar av ett företag. Interaktioner mellan resurser är ett fenomen som ständigt sker och påverkar ett företag. Studier om resursinteraktioner och dess samband är ett relativt outforskat ämne. I vårt fall har vi utgått från fyra fokala produkter (produkter i fokus), som interagerar med andra resurser i dess närhet. Vår studie förklarar hur dessa interaktioner påverkar olika beroendeförhållanden (ekonomiska, sociala samt teknologiska).

För att kunna vara aktiv utomhus krävs att miljön inte är hindrande. Äldre personer har, i de flesta fall, en minskad fysisk kapacitet och är genom detta extra känsliga för hinder i miljön.Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om, och i så fall på vilket sätt, förändringar i den fysiska utemiljön inverkar på äldre personers aktivitetsutförande utanför hemmet. För att besvara studiens syfte sökte författarna svar på vilka aktiviteter de äldre utförde utomhus, hur de upplevde utemiljön samt om de uppmärksammat förändringarna i utemiljön. Informanterna var engagerade i ett flertal olika aktiviteter utomhus och promenader var den vanligast förekommande uteaktiviteten. Det framkom att de äldre var mycket nöjda med utemiljön i området och att de upplevde få hinder.

The aim of this paper was to examine which discourses of women that could be found in Swedish policy documents concerning alcohol from the seventies until today. The questions asked were in which ways women?s drinking was described and how these descriptions could be analyzed and understood by critical discourse analysis and gender theory. The results indicated two main discourses, one replacing the other over time. According to the first discourse, most clearly expressed in the official report from the seventies, women were not consumers of alcohol to the same extent as men.
