I detta arbete jämförs Symantec Ghosts mot Free open-source ghost (FOG) för att mäta användbarheten med avseende på kritiska attribut. Kritiska attribut är baserade på utförandet av en fullständig replikeringsprocess samt hur en användare upplever hanteringen av mjukvaran.

In this thesis a possible cost effective runner change of some of the units in the hydroelectric power station Olidan is investigated. The possibility to drive a unit at the same efficiency point through a change of the turbine shaft speed and the rate of discharge is tested. Furthermore the theories behind model testing, determination of efficiency increase from model to prototype and efficiency measurements shall be discussed and analyzed with Olidan as a starting point.A predicted curve has been built on information from model tests and field measurements on the existing runners and runner data from the test of the new model. The predicted curve shows the difference in efficiency between an existing runner and a modern one. It is the difference in efficiency that is used in the calculations that are to show whether changing to a pair of new runners will be cost effective or not.

From 1710 to 1713 the plague raged through the Swedish province of Scania. Other studies have been made on how the disease affected the society during the epidemic. This study tries to focus on the recovery afterwards. How did the population and the farmsteads recover after the plague? Statistics from parish registers and cameral records show interesting patterns in the demography, and that the recovery was far from complete 1720.

Det finns idag programvara som kallas för fri och öppen programvara som tar upp kampen med gamla klassiska proprietära programvaror. Öppna och fria programvaror släpper sin källkod helt fri så användaren själv har möjlighet att göra ändringar i den programvara som används medan proprietär programvaras källkod är skyddad och hemlig. Dessa tre olika sorters programvaror jämförs och diskuteras utifrån tekniska likheter och skillnader i denna kandidatuppsats. Syftet med denna kandidatuppsats inom informatik är att undersöka vad privatpersoner som är tekniskt intresserade har för tankar och attityder kring proprietär, öppen och fri programvara och visa vilka tekniska aspekter som prioriteras vid val mellan dem. I undersökningen har ett kvantitativt angreppssätt bestående av en webbenkät som besvarats av privatpersoner tillämpats. Resultatet från denna enkät har tillsammans med den teori som insamlats visat vilka tekniska funktioner och skillnader som påverkar en privatperson då val av olika sorters programvara ska ske. Undersökningen har visat att det som användaren prioriterar högst i en programvara är användbarheten som handlar om hur användarvänligt användargränssnittet är och hur lättanvänd en programvara är.

Both contemporary research in History of Religions and current public debate tell us that Christianity as a religious form is challenged in today?s society. Nevertheless, Christianity is often present in secular artistic expression such as fictional literature. The purpose of this paper is to examine how God is portrayed in two late-modern Swedish novels, Djävulen och Gud by Mare Kandre (1993) and Boken by Niklas Rådström (2013).The examination is based on a hermeneutic method using close reading in order to answer the questions asked. The result of the examination shows that God in the late-modern novels is portrayed as a figure with shifting emotions, and in both novels God goes through changes which are in some ways similar.

Health added-value foods are thought to reduce health-related risks or delay the onset of these major diseases. Therefore, interest among scientists, researchers and the public in general has been growing remarkably over the last decade regarding these special foods. The Swedish market seems to be a good target for health added-values food. However, as there are many risks and cost factors involved for companies to enter the market or invest in R&D, it is important to take a step back and analyze the current market situation.

Sammanlagt medverkade 56 personer i studien, 32 killar och 24 tjejer i åldrarna 10-18. En grupp lågstadiebarn och en grupp gymnasieungdomar testades i VT, EPT, SPT och SEPT betingningar.

I den här rapporten presenteras en undersökning av hur användare uppfattar patientjournaler. Undersökningen har omfattat intervjuer, öppen kortsortering (med inledande free-listing) och användningstest ? metoder som kompletterat varandra bra.

The student project Elba at KTH started in 2011 and is a project where a battery driven prototype car is developed. The vehicle competes in Eco Shell Marathon in Rotterdam, Holland. In this competition the vehicle that travels a certain distance including several starts and stops with the lowest energy consumption wins. To minimize the consumption is therefore very important, which requires knowledge of the vehicles energy losses.A vehicle's energy losses depends on several factors and can be divided into the powertrain efficiency and the driving resistance. The driving resistance can then be divided in to rolling and air resistance, if smaller losses like vibrations are ignored.

Abstract:Ambulance nurses have in their everyday work a varied work environment, the pace of work can quickly shift from being calm and structured to be a severe acute situation.Objective: The aim of the study was to describe how professional nurses in the ambulance operations experience their physical and mental work environment in daily practice.Method: A qualitative interview study with semi structured questions was used. The study group consisted of two women and three men, ages between 27?42 years. The study was carried out on an ambulance station in central Sweden. Based on collected data, a qualitativecontent analysis was performed that resulted in three categories.Results: The result showed that the ambulance nurses regarded that it was a lot of heavy lifting.
