Studien undersöker Linköpings kommuns externa webbplats och hur lättillgänglig den information som finns där är för en äldre målgrupp med utgångspunkt i framförallt språk och layout. Metoderna som använts för att samla in data är intervjuer och observationer samt en textanalys som utgår från det vidgade textbegreppet. Resultatet visar att de äldre hade vissa svårigheter med att hitta fram till rätt information, främst på grund av hur olika begrepp användes på sidorna, svag förståelse för länkhierarki och layout, fysiska svårigheter samt inställning och vana. För att göra webbplatsen mer lättillgänglig kan man till exempel jobba med visuell framskjutenhet, bilder och förenkla språket..

The purpose of this study has been to examine different aspects of the professional role of the high school librarian, especially the educational role, and its delimitations to the teacher's role. The methods that were used were studies of literature within the subject area and qualitative interviews with high school librarians and high school teachers of social studies. Andrew Abbot's theory on the system of professions was used in the analysis of the results of the study. The high school librarians who were interviewed enabled access to information, both intellectually and physically. They helped students develop information seeking skills and they functioned as educators and counselors.

Syftet med den här litteraturstudien var att beskriva vad patienter vill ha för information av sjuksköterskor efter en hjärtinfarkt relaterat till behoven, och hur de upplever informationen de fått. En beskrivande litteraturstudie genomfördes där vetenskapliga artiklar av kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär analyserades. I föreliggande litteraturstudier framkommer att hjärt och kärl-sjukdomar är ett stort hälsoproblem p.g.a. den ohälsosamma livsstil som så många har i dag. Hälso och sjukvården jobbar med detta genom att försöka förebygga ytterligare hjärtinfarkter, vilket kan innebära att patienten måste ändra sin livsstil.

Amning väcker ofta starka känslor och har förändrats genom tiderna. Från att ha varit något naturligt blev amningen omgärdad av regler på 1800-talet. Reglerna gjorde amningen svår att upprätthålla vilket ledde till att synen på amning förändrades till något besvärligt. Antalet ammande kvinnor sjönk som en följd av detta. Amning har flera positiva hälsoeffekter för både kvinnor och barn och forskare hittar fortlöpande nya positiva effekter.

Pensionen berör oss alla! Därför har syftet med mitt examensarbete varit att skapa en lättillgänglig broschyr som ökar förståelsen av hur pensionssystemet fungerar. Den här rapporten redogör för hur jag gick till väga när jag arbetade fram broschyren Så funkar det ? din ålderspension. Broschyren är ett informationsmaterial bestående av bearbetad text med visuella förstärkningar.Nästan allt informationsmaterial består av text, ibland tillsammans med bilder. Alla människor läser inte text automatiskt och utan ansträngning.

Jag skulle åt Team Tejbrant ta fram ett mellanting mellan cykelställ och cykelgarage. Team Tejbrant har en rad olika cykelställ och garage och det är meningen att det cykelställ jag ska göra ska komplettera deras sortiment. Jag började med att göra en research om cykelställets historia samt undersöka dagens utbud. Efter det skrev jag en enkät som distribuerades till så många som möjligt, för att få information och inspiration till projektet. När det var klart och jag sammanställt enkäten gjorde jag en enkel intervju med företagets konstruktör om vad han tror är genomförbart.

The purpose of this Masters thesis is to examine the attitudes of deaf and hear-impaired people towards libraries, information, and culture. The issues are: What are the attitudes of the informants towards libraries and culture? What do reference group theory and the theory of information access-/avoidance implicate concerning the information behaviour of the informants? In-depth interviews with five deaf and hear-impaired university students have been carried out in this qualitative study. The world of deaf and hear-impaired people is presented as well as a survey of political guidelines to make, for example, libraries and theatres more available to disabled people. The research overview analyses scholarly studies on deaf and hear-impaired people.

I uppsatsen redogörs för hur information och kommunikation utformas och förmedlas i ett företag under en stor ekonomisk förändring. Syftet med forskningen är att undersöka hur information och kommunikation kan fungera mellan strategisk, taktisk och operativ nivå för att nå fram med budskapet och för att processen ska bli så effektiv som möjligt. Syftet behandlar även kommunikationsmediets påverkan. Kommunikation är en komplicerad process där brister ofta förekommer, detta kan leda till att budskapet uppfattas felaktigt och syftet med processen uteblir. I val av medie är det därför viktigt att ta hänsyn till sändare, mottagare och meddelandets situation.

SAAB Support and Services, som är servicecenter för flygplanskomponenter, utför idag huvuddelar av sina mätningar manuellt, mätningar som ibland kan ta upp till fyra dagar. För att höja noggrannheten samt öka effektiviteten köpte de år 2007 in ett automatiskt testkoncept från MK Test systems.I examensarbetet har vi först undersökt den inköpta utrustningen.Sedan har vi tagit fram rutiner för kalibrering av utrustningen som klarar SAAB:s krav. Därefter har vi arbetat fram kravspecifikationer och instruktioner för hur utrustningen ska användas. Under arbetets gång har vi samlat in information för att kunna göra en utvärdering av hur lämplig utrustningen är att använda för att testa flygplanskomponenter.Arbetet resulterade huvudsakligen i tre st manualer som går igenom tre olika områden; kalibrering, kablagetest och ett standardtest för t.ex.paneler och styrboxar..

Nethouse Sverige AB is an IT consultancy in need of a mobile solution to inform participants of in-house events and distribute news to their consultants working in the field. This report  describes the planning and development of such a solution. The result of this thesis is a three system-solution. A mobile application where it is possible to view news and information about in-house events, and also receive suitable notifications, a web service which assists the mobile application by providing the corresponding information and finally a website to manage the information and notify mobile clients..

SAMMANFATTNINGSyfte: Syftet med denna studie var att på ett sjukhus i Mellansverige undersöka hur tillfredställda patienterna var med information om läkemedelsbiverkningar Syftet var även att undersöka grad av oro över eventuella biverkningar och jämföra om det fanns någon könskillnad gällande detta.Metod: Studiens design var en kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie med deskriptiv och jämförande statistik. Data samlades in genom en Studiespecifik enkät. Antalet svarande var 29 inneliggande patienter under 10 veckor som uppfyllde inklusionskriterierna.Resultat: Resultatet visade att hälften av deltagarna inte hade fått information om läkemedelsbiverkningar och att 78 % uppgav sig vilja ha mer information. Nio av tio deltagare instämde till att vara oroliga över eventuella biverkningar och 64 % uppgav att de var osäkra eller inte visste vart de skulle vända sig vid frågor om biverkningar. Trots detta var drygt hälften av deltagarna delvis eller helt nöjda med den information de fått.

The city of Kalmar has a desire that their 3D maps of the city should come to a greater use and get residents more involved in Kalmar city. The purpose of this report is to show one way to work with these 3D maps when it comes to presenting information about Kalmar for its residents and tourists in a specific area.  The report also includes information about advantages and disadvantages with the use of 2D and 3D maps in different environments. Various reports and other sources indicate an interest in 3D and a use for this, but even that 2D is still seen as a natural way to read a map. By collecting information from relevant literature, interviews and user testing, the group has obtained sufficient background information to present the results of a web site, where the visitor can navigate in both 2D and 3D in a specific area of Kalmar. User tests and surveys have been conducted in two rounds and the web site has been revised after their results..

The aim of this thesis is to contribute to increased knowledge concerning students? information seeking in an electronic environment. Using a qualitative approach; focus groups interviews, a total of nine nursing students were interviewed in two groups. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed with an analysis tool based upon Lucy Kuntz?s, Gary Marchionini?s and Carol C Kuhlthau?s models of the information seeking process.

Today it is not unusual to use a secondary screen to accompany a primary screen. The possibility to integrate these two in the form of an application for the secondary screen have long been possible but have not been developed to full potential. This thesis aims to study the use of the extra information and functions this type of application would make possible and how this type of application could be used.For this study a prototype-application including a real time newsfeed and a static menu for a specific episode of a Tv-series was created based on the information collected in an online survey. The application was tested on a number of people who got to evaluate the experience in short interviews and were given the possibility to recommend changes in the application.The result after the study showed the people where torn about what kind of information would best fit the application but showed over all that a dynamic newsfeed with information continuously updated with the episode where most appreciated. The problem with the difference in interest around the categories would be solved first and foremost by the application being configurable so that every single user has the possibility to choose which kind of information to be updated in the newsfeed.

The environmental work of companies has become an incredibly important factor in achieving reduced levels of environmental pollution. For companies the work on environmental issues began in the 1980s. During this time companies also began to show interest for the personnel, an interest that was shown in the form of attempts to disclose personnel information in economics. Earlier this information was separated from the financial information, despite the fact that the revenues are created by the employees.The purpose of this paper is to examine how well companies with a notification or a permit today account for environmental- and personnel information in their director?s report.
