In this essay I have described ecocriticism as a theory with several different subfields that are inspired by a cross-disciplinary approach, such as green culture studies, ecofeminism, and postcolonial ecocriticism. After a short summary of the background of ecocritical studies I analyze the various subfields, take a closer look at their contents and present various examples of ecocritical thinking. A presentation of the commonly used concepts within the discipline and some reflections on these is followed by my final discussion, where I state that even though ecocriticism is a relatively new theory and the concept doesn?t have a clear definition as yet, it is in my view a useful tool for analysis and can with time make valuable contributions to literary studies, not least by introducing a number of new perspectives..

In Sweden there is scepticism if there really is a difference between the two biggest political parties, the Moderate/Conservative party and the Swedish Social Democrats. The voters feels that the arguments used by both parties are more or less the same and that it does not matter on whom you vote. Hence I am going to compare the parties? policy programs, developed by the members in each party, by an analysis of ideas to see if the two parties are so similar that they hardly are two different options, or if there is a divergence between the two. My choosing of the parties? policy programs comes from a decision to look at the members? party, they are the authors of the programs, the core. I have to admit I am not unbiased in this work.

Jag gör i denna uppsats en fallstudie om hur fritidspedagogerna på en mellanstor grundskola kan tänkas tolka sitt uppdrag i den verksamhet de arbetar i, fritidshemmet. Bakgrundskapitlet inleds med att beskriva fritidshemmets historia med syftet att förklara varför det finns fritidshem idag och varför denna skolbarnomsorg numera kan sägas vara en utbildningsverksamhet i grundskolan. Det avslutande i det bakgrundstäckande kapitlet är en specifikt framtagen presentation av de styrdokument som fritidshemmet idag lyder under.Det specifika med denna presentation är således att styrdokumenten blir presenterade med syftet att försöka lyfta fram det som Skolverket föreskriver vara fritidshemmets och dess pedagogers uppdrag.I uppsatsens rapport redovisas och analyseras fyra intervjuer jag gjort med fritidspedagogerna i en mellanstor grundskola. Sammanfattningsvis kan dessa pedagogers tankar om deras uppdrag sägas vara lika när de återger vad de i sin verksamhet ska erbjuda sina elever. As new ways of using computers are constantly being developed, other ways of interacting are made possible. One of the most desired types of interaction with computers is a touch-screen where the user can actually organize everything simply by using the fingertips. The purpose of this project is to enhance an existing framework with an application that works with a touch-screen device. The application is to be used as a tool for presentational usage. The result is an application where the user by simple means can use a touch-screen to hold a professional presentation.

THE STUDY IS PERFORMED THROUGH DEEP-INTERVIEWS WITH A FEW KEY PEOPLE IN THE DIFFERENT CLINICS. FURTHER A SURVEY IS SUBMITTED TO EACH OF THE THREE CLINICS TO GET A BROADER INSIGHT OF THE PERSONNEL'S VIEW ON THE CHANGES.

The goal and purpose of this essay is to study if and how multimodality is used within a Swedish school in Kalmar. This is accomplished by observing the different modalities inside the classroom and how the use of different modalities affects the teaching. Unstructured observations combined with a material-based thematic presentation leads up to an analysis based on social semiotics and multimodality. The essay shows how the teaching uses lots of modalities: sound, images, movies, speeches and literary text in lots of different ways. These different types of modalities are used in a multimodal context, providing good conditions for learning..

Investeringar i varumärken är vitalt för värdeskapande och skapar stabilitet och identitet i företag. I många situationer är den ekonomiska effekten uppbenbar. Immateriella tillgångar är behäftade med problem rörande identifiering, värdering och presentation av internt upparbetade varumärken i balansräkningen. Svårigheten förknippas i första hand med brist på tillräckligt vägledande redovisningsstandarder. Inledning: Begreppet kreativitet används inom restaurangbranschen och av massmedia som positiv egenskap hos kockar. Forskningen visar att kreativa maträtter och produkter utvecklas när kockar kommunicerar med personer från andra discipliner. Unga kockar tränas traditionsenligt att bli skickliga hantverkare för att repetera mästerkockarnas maträtter. I kocktävlingen Årets Kock uppmuntras kockar till kreativitet, maträtterna som de tävlande kockarna skapar bedöms av tidigare vinnare och mästerkockar som vill bli både överraskade och samtidigt känna igen sig.Syfte: Syftet är att belysa vad begreppet kreativitet står för inom gastronomi och matlagning, med särskild inriktning mot vad kreativitet står för som det kommer till uttryck vid bedömningen av maträtterna i kocktävlingen Årets Kock.Metod och material: Flera metoder har använts för att öka förståelsen för eventet och kocktävlingen Årets Kock. Tävlingsledningen har intervjuats och matbilderna från åren 2007 - 2012 på de vinnande maträtterna har analyserats.

Arbetet handlar om huruvida man kan få till ett meningsfullt lärande genom att använda sig av metoden PBL, problembaserat lärande, i grundskolan. Jag gör en kort presentation av lärande under 1900-talet för att därefter koncentrera mig på tre pedagoger, Marton, Säljö och Dewey. Utifrån dessa tre pedagogers syn på lärande undersöker jag PBL. Jag beskriver hur metoden PBL fungerar och hur den är uppbyggd. Mycket i PBL överensstämmer med vad Marton, Säljö och Dewey anser vara ett lärande som ger bra resultat.

This study is based on an examination of students? habits of using the Internet in formal and informal environments. The focus within this study is on what kind of activities students use the Internet for and how and if their teacher connect the students actual usage of the Internet to base the education in school on it. What we have discovered in this report is that the student in this examination uses the Internet as a tool for communicative and entertaining purposes. Though, the use of the Internet is different depending on which physical environment it is situated in.
