The lack of housing in the Swedish metropolitan areas is today a well-known fact. This isespecially true for the region in and around Stockholm. Due to the large amount ofmunicipality-owned land within Stockholm municipality the area for many new housingprojects are acquired through land allocation. How much time this process of land allocationconsumes for a typical project is today not really known. Equally unknown is the exactoutcome of the process, i.e.

The focus of the thesis is: how conditions for agriculture in the Republic of Macedonia today may form the basis for development of the agricultural sector towards conditions needed for future accession into the European Union. The method for investigating this question has been to look at newly available farm monitoring system (FMS) data from Macedonia. Also to look at the latest government policies created in the country for the agricultural sector and rural areas in relation to the requirements for EU accession. Articles and empirical studies published by other authors related to the questions which arise in this study have been reviewed and presented herein. Trade relations, trade patterns and national economic and agricultural trends are displayed to provide a background overview for the study of the agricultural sector.

On commission of the County administrative board in Värmland County a method was developed for analysis of the occurrence of artificial land use at lakes and watercourses. With artificial land use is meant land significantly affected by man. Two bases have been used to carry out the analysis. In one of the analysis the vegetation database and in the other GSD¹-Marktäckedata (land cover data) was used (this method has been used by County administrative board in Jönköping County).The analysis comprises all watercourses within Alsterälven river basin. The digital water bodies are created by the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute on the basis of GSD-Översiktskartan (general map).

People who invest capital in promising projects as a profession are called venture capitalists. They are constantly looking for new investment opportunities. Recently, media have observed a growing interest in forest land as capital investment. This is because several fund and investment company market the possibility of safe return through investment in woodland, both in Sweden and abroad. When an investment in forests is seen as an acceptable investment option, focus turns to nearby areas, namely agricultural land.

We have been looking at three different types of agriculture in Södermanland, in the middle east of Sweden. We call the different types for Intensive, Extensive and Mix. The purpose is to get an economic defensible plan for how to run different farm sizes. We also have been looking at the working hours and how many hours the different types will give. We have a farm called Taxinge Gods as our pilot farm. Taxinge Gods grow 407 ha land and is located 60 km southwest from Stockholm.

På Bar Dubai i Dubai.Förslaget går ut på att bygga de två planområdena med punkthus (projektera bostäder), samtidigt förbättra stadsbilden och få mer uppmärksamhet till varje tomt, genom detta kan vi studera och jämföra byggtekniken och designen i ett varmt och kallt land med olika standard.Vi redovisar det i en Revit Architecture modell samt material och byggteknisk jämförelse.Därmed redovisar rapporten hur studieresan som vi utförde gav oss den information som hjälpte oss att utföra jämförelsen.Ur jämförelsen framgår att det är förvånansvärt få skillnader mellan byggandet i Stockholm respektive Dubai..

The agriculture in Sweden today uses chemical substances to control vermin, weed and diseases. This usage shows through polluted subsoil water and trace elements in the food we eat. There?s a risk that additional symptoms will arise in the future. Our product Sha Jun, developed in 2006-2007, is an attempt to try and minimize the need of chemicals in the agriculture. The idea started with the attempt to minimize the usage of pesticides on the cropland.

The forest property Fagerdal 2:10 was donated to the Swedish University of Agriculture in 1995 by Erik Rönnberg. The dominating species is Norwegian spruce (Picea Abies) and the average age is high due to selective cutting. The aim of this study has been to analyze how the forest on the property should be managed and demonstrate how a better estimated forest data affects the future management. The impact of the management on the carbon stock of the property was also examined. A forestry plan established in 2009 by Skogssällskapet was used as a basis for the analyses.

AbstractThe Swedish agricultural organisation, LRF, stands in front of many changes and the work with the changes in the organisation has caused some conflicts at the top. Is it like Michels say that it's a few people at the top that rules? The case with LRF shows to be something different, since the president Caroline Trapp was re-elected. The election committee proposed a new president, but the assembly had another opinion and re-elected Caroline Trapp. This shows that the opinions at the top were not the same as among the members of the organisation and the election committee couldn?t rule over them.In this essay I try to understand what kind of organisation LRF is and what made this case special.

Andelen utrikes födda utgör en allt större del av Sveriges befolkning. Många av dem kommer från länder utanför EU/EES, dvs. tredje land, och har en akademisk utbildning från sitt hemland. Det har visat sig problematiskt för dessa människor att etablera sig på den svenska arbetsmarknaden i linje med deras utbildning och problematiken är särskilt utmärkande inom reglerade yrkesgrupper. Tandläkare är ett reglerat yrke och personer som flyttar till Sverige, med en tandläkarexamen från ett tredje land, måste därför genomgå prövning och komplettering av sin kompetens för att erhålla svensk legitimation.

Målet med uppsatsen är att jämföra likheter och skillnader i gestaltningen av främlingskap i Ivar Lo- Johanssons roman Kungsgatan och i Theodor Kallifatides roman Utlänningar. Uppsatsen jämför förhållandet mellan stad och land i Kungsgatan med förhållandet mellan hemland och nytt land i Utlänningar. Socialpsykologiska perspektiv på främlingskap, identitet och acklimatisering i kombination med litteraturteoretiska begrepp från postkolonial litteraturteori används för att undersöka hur romanerna fiktivt gestaltar uppbrotts- och acklimatiseringsprocesser. Analysen indelas i förhållandet mellan stad/land och hemland/nytt land, kvinnans dubbla främlingskap, språkets inverkan på identiteten samt individens förmåga eller oförmåga att anpassa sig till en ny miljö. Det skildrade främlingskapets anknytning till en ny dubbel identitet analyseras för att tolka karaktärernas hantering av främlingskapet.

Göbekli Tepe is an 11000 year old religious center where Totem has been exercised. It was raised by megalithic hunters and collectors that still during the construction lived in small-scaled mobile groups in order to find food and therefore should not have had time to raised costly stone monuments. The religious center consists of four enclosures with two T-pillars decorated with pictures of different animals and birds. Any dwellings have not been found. The place has been constructed by a well-organized elitist organization that has been capable of raising constructions in order to exercise their religion in a way we did not thought was possible such a long time ago. Analysis and findings from the near east existing from this time shows however that social changes happen in the communities around the region. Can archeological finding from the excavations on the religious center give any answer or clue regarding how man came to develop from hunter and collector to farmer? Do the findings reveal that the religion has changed Mans way to think and organize so that she was prepared to introduce the agriculture that occurs? The aim of thesis is to clarify whether Göbekli Tepe has played any role in the complex origin of agriculture..

Ship formed monuments from the Late Bronze Age on the island of O?land, southeast Sweden, have never been thoroughly dealt with in previous research, despite the fact that the region is suggested to have had a key-role in maritime trade networks. This thesis aims to address the ship formed monuments on O?land in relationship to the monuments in northern Sma?land and the island of Gotland. My goal is to discuss how the ship symbolism was practised during the Late Bronze Age in Scandinavia from a new perspective.
