Purpose/aim: The purpose of this thesis is to examine if, and in that case how, the municipality of Umeå worked strategically with its communication during 2014 when Umeå was chosen as ?European Capital of Culture?. The research is mainly focused on the outlines of their communication plan, main goals, what  communication strategies the municipality has chosen to and their choice of media channels.Material/method: Two methods are used for this research; qualitative interviews with four employees within the communication team during Umeå2014 and a text analysis of three formal documents which provide the framework of communication policies and media strategies during Umeå2014.Results: The results clearly indicate a well structured, strategic planning outlined in the formal documents. The four people intreviewed all had a good knowledge of the policies and strategies in the documents, they also described their work in accordance with these..

AbstractOne opinion among people who are experienced in hand rearing newborn mammals is that goat milk is more suitable than cow milk if the young needs a milk replacer. The purpose of this literature review was to find out if there is scientific evidence that goat milk is a better milk replacer for piglets, rat pups and foals than cow milk. The milk is essential for the newborn animal, as its only source of nutrition until it has learned how to eat solid food. In this literature review, the composition of goat milk and cow milk is compared with the nutrient requirements after birth in piglets, rat pups and foals. The nutrient requirements and the milk composition are partly determined by the newborn mammals activity level and suckling frequency, which also is described.

With a starting point in the legislation for organic production set up by the Swedishcertification organization KRAV, the reasons to why these regulations are important isexplained and how pigs are affected by these rules. The study also shows how well the pigscope in the organic environment considering the origin of the genetic material; from theconventional pig population. The conclusion is that pigs do function fairly well in the organicproduction environment and the traits affecting their functionality involve: motheringabilities, strong legs, good meat quality, good sow durability and longevity, capacity to eatmuch roughage and dark skin color. It is not unusual that this is the foundation of a country?s industrialisation. Even though the industry brings many positive factors, there are also negative factors that will influence the industry?s growth in the future.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att förklara sambandet mellan faktorgrupperna kommunspecifika faktorer, kontraktsspecifika faktorer samt upphandlingsspecifika faktorer, och överprövning av offentlig upphandling. Teoretisk ansats: Utifrån denna studies teoretiska referensram innefattande Public Choice-teorin, NPM och kontraktsteorin, har vi definierat tre olika faktorgrupper som är kopplade till offentlig upphandling och som är av betydelse för överprövning. Utifrån denna teoretiska referensram har hypoteser formulerats för att testa sambandet mellan faktorgrupperna och överprövning. Metod: Studien består av två delstudier som är utförda enligt en kvantitativ metod. I delstudie 1 genomfördes en datainsamling för 30 olika kommuner gällande kommunens helhetsperspektiv.

This bachelor of economics paper discuss that the increasing globalization has put the small companies in the Swedish textile and clothing industry in a situation where internationalization has become a necessity. Furthermore has the European Union lead to that this type of companies has to seek growth on foreign markets with great socio cultural distance from the home country, Sweden. Nowadays there?s no time to internationalize in the same course of action like before. Before, the Swedish companies begun their operations abroad in fairly nearby countries and only gradually penetrated more far-flung markets.

In my paper I have examined the United Nations role in the democratization of Kosovo. In order to complete this purpose I have asked two questions? How has the UN contributed to the democratization of Kosovo that has taken place so far?? Att bromerade flamskyddsmedel är endokrinstörande är känt men min hypotes är att de även är neurotoxiska och att de kan orsaka neurologiska störningar hos människa. Människor exponeras för bromerade flamskyddsmedel via damm och föda. Barn och foster som är känsligare än vuxna kan även exponeras via modersmjölk respektive placenta. Barn har högre serumkoncentrationer av bromerade flamskyddsmedel än vuxna.
