Energy efficiency is important both to reduce costs and to reduce greenhouse gas in the atmosphere. In Sweden 40 percent of the energy consumption is related to the buildings sector. Hospitals are complex buildings with different activities in the same building, which requires Flexible technical systems for ventilation, heating and lightning. A quarter of the total energy consumption in Swedish hospitals is related to user activities in the hospitals. Therefore it is not only important to work with operational optimization but also to change user activities, to reduce energy consumption.The objective of this thesis was to examine the user-related energy efficiency work at two care units, at the central hospital in Sundsvall within Västernorrlands County.

The purpose of this study was to examine what social workers include in the term "parenting ability". More specifically the purpose was to investigate how social workers view the parenting ability among parents with an intellectual disability. Furthermore the aim was to examine what difficulties social workers come across in their work with families where one of the parents are intellectually disabled. The study was based on six interviews with social workers that specifically work with children under the age of 18, and occasionally come across parents with this type of disability. The interviews were analysed using Donald Winnicott's terms "good-enough-parenting", "holding" and "the holding environment".

Vårt syfte med denna studie var att förstå fenomenet retorik som partiledare använder sig av i partiledardebatter i Sveriges riksdag. För att klarlägga fenomenet har vi utgått från teorierna, övertygningsmedel och partesläran. Vi har sedan jämfört vårt empiriska resultat med våra teoretiska utgångspunkter.Vi har valt att använda oss av en kvalitativ ansats med en hermeneutisk inriktning och jämfört en fallstudie genom att utföra retorikanalyser med två svenska partiledare som underöskningsobjekt, Fredrik reinfeldt och Mona Sahlin. Valet föll på dessa då de är partiledare för de två största partierna i Sverige, Moderaterna och Socialdemokraterna. Våra analysresultat visar att de båda följer den retoriska arbetsprocessen men de nyttjar den inte till fullo.

This masters thesis examines the reading environment during "booktalk", with special reference to a reading project in compulsory comprehensive and upper secondary schools in Stockholm. The main question is: What does the reading environment look like during booktalk? Three questions are asked: Which factors affect the reading environment? Which are the conditions concerning book selection and book availability? How do the librarians perform as enabling adults? Different groups of pupils, together with their teachers and the librarian, are studied during booktalks in five schools. The study uses a qualitative approach, which takes the form of open observations during 15 booktalks and one interview with the two librarians involved in the project and studies of literature. The theoretical framework is Aidan Chambers theory relating to reading environment and its effects upon the reading process.

I have been using qualitative methods, to gather my empirical data. I have been using two unstructured interviews and one unsystematically observation, in a third grade class in a school south of Stockholm, with 30% second language students.
