The Working Hours Act regulates the working time conditions and together with the Working Time Directive of EU both acts aim to protect the workers. However, with The Swedish Model it is possible to diverge from the law-regulations by collective agreement by the parts of the Swedish labor market. The purpose of this thesis is to examine the national and international law regulations and further on study a few selected Swedish central collective agreements to discover in which extension deviation from the law occur. The sections of the Working Hours Act?s that has been investigated is ordinary working time, daily rest, weekly rest periods, breaks and maximum weekly working time.

One of such companies is Halmstad based Tooling Support Halmstad AB that manufactures threading-taps, threading-dies and parting off tools, towards a centralized warehouse in Schiedam, Holland. The large amount of different products, approximately 2500 is a big contributor to the problem along with a new order system that creates a demand of low setup times. Previously the company was forwarded orders through quarter based prognoses which enabled planning of the production over a longer time span. Hospitals are complex buildings with different activities in the same building, which requires flexible technical systems for ventilation, heating and lightning. A quarter of the total energy consumption in Swedish hospitals is related to user activities in the hospitals. To help myself and others to handle the negative stress within the profession and the education I choose to write my thesis about landscape architects' work cultures. The purpose of this study was to examine what social workers include in the term "parenting ability". More specifically the purpose was to investigate how social workers view the parenting ability among parents with an intellectual disability. Furthermore the aim was to examine what difficulties social workers come across in their work with families where one of the parents are intellectually disabled. The study was based on six interviews with social workers that specifically work with children under the age of 18, and occasionally come across parents with this type of disability. The interviews were analysed using Donald Winnicott's terms "good-enough-parenting", "holding" and "the holding environment".

Vårt syfte med denna studie var att förstå fenomenet retorik som partiledare använder sig av i partiledardebatter i Sveriges riksdag. För att klarlägga fenomenet har vi utgått från teorierna, övertygningsmedel och partesläran. Vi har sedan jämfört vårt empiriska resultat med våra teoretiska utgångspunkter.Vi har valt att använda oss av en kvalitativ ansats med en hermeneutisk inriktning och jämfört en fallstudie genom att utföra retorikanalyser med två svenska partiledare som underöskningsobjekt, Fredrik reinfeldt och Mona Sahlin. Valet föll på dessa då de är partiledare för de två största partierna i Sverige, Moderaterna och Socialdemokraterna. Våra analysresultat visar att de båda följer den retoriska arbetsprocessen men de nyttjar den inte till fullo.
