This essay seeks to gain understanding on the thoughts of Konrad Adenauer regarding the future of Europe in the post-WWII era, and European integration in particular. The material used is his memoirs, which gives an insight into the part of his thought that he chose to share with the rest of the world. The essay uses an analytical framework of three theories, popular within the academic discipline of international relations: realism, liberalism and constructivism. The conclusion it draws is that none of the theories can in a satisfying way describe Adenauer?s thoughts, but rather that they all in some way describe certain elements of his thoughts.

What is an economic crime? Who is an economic criminal? How do we speak of the phenomenon and what does they way we speak mean? The immediate result of the study is that there is a stereotype image of the economic criminal that is produced within peoples speech. This image contains characteristics that bring the subject, the economic criminal, far away from the traditional crime subject, and brings it closer to a non-criminal subject. This motion render possible that economic criminals can talk of themselves as ?not bad people?, ?normal? and ?like everyone else?.

The local council of Eskilstuna has a lot of fans on their Facebook page, but not so many people that ask questions, likes, comments or share their posts. This is a bachelor-thesis on how to inspire dialogue and encourage the fans to be a part of Eskilstunas Facebook page.I have made guidelines for the council how to use Facebook as a way to reach out to those who live in Eskilstuna, based on results from literature studies, analysis of several other Facebook pages and interviews. I've also made examples of statuses for the Facebook page for one week, in May 2012.The result shows that the fans want's to read about their local environment. It is important to have a personal appeal. Post should be no longer than 400 character, if they are, the posts will be truncated, and hidden.

Brooklyn Tigers ville ersätta deras nuvarande CMS system Joomla på grund av att det saknades viktiga funktioner. Brooklyn Tigers ville därmed ha ett egen utvecklat CMS som motsvarade deras krav. Funktionerna som de ville ha var att användare skulle kunna bli medlem på webbplatsen och få olika användarnivåer beroende på om de var medlem i föreningen eller inte. De ville dessutom ha ett administratörsgränssnitt där det skulle vara möjligt att lägga till nya artiklar, ändra befintliga artiklar. Lägga till nya resor, ändra resor och se bokningar på resorna, samt skicka ut e-post till de som är bokade.

Det har beskrivits hur upplevelserna av anknytningen till barnet kan variera beroende på mammans levnadshistoria. Med hjälp av anknytningsteorin förklarades anknytningsmönstrets betydelse för hur det sociala samspelet med omgivningen ser ut. Syftet med studien var att beskriva mammans upplevelser av att ej kunna knyta an till sitt nyfödda barn och problemområdet belystes med hjälp av självbiografier i en kvalitativ litteraturstudie. Resultatet redovisades under följande fyra kategorier: anknytningen blev inte som förväntat, prestationsångest och osäkerhet i mammarollen, känsla av att inte vara en bra mamma och ville inte vara med barnet. Slutsatsen blev att mammans upplevelser behöver lyftas fram och tydliggöras så att sjuksköterskan kan hjälpa igång och stödja mamman för att den livsviktiga anknytningen skall kunna slå rot..

Syfte med detta arbete är att undersöka huruvida avkastningsberäkning för en datalagerinvestering bör göras, hur det kan göras och om det görs. Vidare avses att undersöka om generella kalkylmetoder kan användas av företag, oavsett storlek, som avser att starta datalagerinvesteringsprojekt. Datalagerteknologin har ännu en hög utvecklingstakt och detta medför ofta höga utvecklingskostnader i samband med investeringar inom datalager.Undersökningen baseras på en kombinerad dokumentstudie och enkätundersökning. Dokumentstudien belyser den problematik vilken förknippas med problemområdet. Enkätundersökningen fokuseras mot olika större organisationer såsom banker, post och dagligvaruhandeln, vilka idag använder sig av datalager.

The purpose of this essay is to give the reader an insight in the subject of torture. This is done through both an historical perspective and by showing how torture methods are used today, even though torture is prohibited by law. Many refugees who come to Sweden today have survived torture, and the trauma can cause multiple illnesses related to the tragic memories. In addition to physical damage many also suffer from depression and post traumatic stress, due to the experiences of torture.Together with the Swedish Red Cross we designed a questionnaire which was sent to politicians and elected officials. In the questionnaire we asked questions concerning knowledge of injuries due to torture and what treatment options these people have in Sweden.

Syfte: Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att identifiera och beskriva de faktorer som kritiskt inverkar på en webbkonfigurators framgång och öka förståelsen kring faktorernas påverkan ur ett företagsperspektiv. Vårt syfte är även att försöka identifiera och beskriva eventuella mönster, som kan ses som generella inom området för webbkonfiguratorer. Metod: Som metod för insamling av empirisk data, har vi använt oss utav enkäter. Dessa har sänts ut via elektronisk post till de medverkande företagen. Vi har även genomfört ett test av de medverkande företagens webbkonfiguratorer. Slutsats: Vi har med bakgrund av våra empiriska och teoretiska data identifierat och beskrivit ett antal faktorer som vi kan se som essentiella för en webbkonfigurators framgång. Vi har även kunnat urskilja vissa mönster, som är generella och oberoende av bransch eller produkt..

Sedan mitten av 1980-talet pågår en debatt i Sverige om sambandet mellan redovisning och beskattning. 1995 kom SOU med ett förslag kring detta och 1998 kom RSV med ytterligare ett förslag. Förslagen innebär en frikoppling mellan redovisning och beskattning. Områden som frikopplas är exempelvis bokslutsdispositioner, obeskattade reserver, inventarier och maskiner. Mitt syfte med uppsatsen var framförallt att förklara hur förslagen påverkar ett medelstort företag.

This thesis is a qualitative study of a new law that was applied in December 2010. The law is called Lagen om etableringsinsatser fo?r vissa nyanla?nda invandrare, and is meant to help newly arrived immigrants that come to Sweden to establish themselves in the Swedish society. The aim of the study is to see what discourses the Swedish government produces as a result of this new law. Interesting for the study is to see what happens in the implementation stage at a local level, in this case in the municipality of O?rnsko?ldsvik.Theoretically and methodologically I emanate from critical discourse theory and institutional theory.

Fysisk aktivitet och beteendeaktivering har i tidigare forskning påvisats vara effektiv i behandling av depressionstillstånd. Syftet med ACTUA-studien var att utvärdera ett internetbaserat självhjälpsprogram med terapeutstöd via e-post. Totalt deltog 71 individer med egentlig depression som randomiserades till fyra olika behandlingsgrupper, två som ägnade sig åt fysisk aktivitet (FA), två som ägnade sig åt beteendeaktivering (BA) samt en väntelista. Behandlingsprogrammet bestod av åtta moduler som tilldelades deltagaren under en 12 veckor lång behandlingsperiod. Sudden gains, vilket är en företeelse som allmänt anses påverka det slutgiltiga behandlingsresultatet för en individ positivt, kunde påvisas i 47 (66%) deltagares behandlingsprocess.

The market risk premium is one of the most important parameters in finance. Its value and the ways to calculate a risk premium for the market is a widely debated subject. This thesis examines numerous ways of calculating a risk premium for the Swedish market with regard to how good an estimation they make of a real risk premium. Estimations based on historical periods ranging from 20 to 85 years is calculated as well as a premium based on forward-looking estimates. The real risk premium is solved out for a selection of companies and an index with the help of CAPM.

This paper presents an approach in contemporary, abstract art for a new way of experiencing modernist abstraction. This has not been possible until now, about 40 years after the postmodern turn against modernism in art, and the closely connected formalism. This new approach is represented in this paper by the Swedish contemporary artists Ann Edholm and Jacob Dahlgren. Modernist artists such as Kasimir Malevich and Piet Mondrian receives a new relevance to contemporary abstract art. This opens up for a new, more complex and more dialectical understanding and re-evaluation of modernism and its abstract art.This is shown by a historical and chronological investigation which highlights modernist abstract art, formalism, and the critical and post-modern Neo-geometric ?abstraction? of the eighties.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has the potential to be used for the diagnosis and study of osteoarthrosis in the equine tarsal region. In the development of new diagnostic MRI techniques cadaver specimens are often used. To allow the use of cadaver legs for these types of studies it is important to know the effect of time after death on the MRI image. Since the relaxation times are temperature dependent, it is interesting to examine whether the time after death and the temperature of the cadaver may play a role in the image appearance and quality. The radio pulse sequences that show the different types of tissues are also important to know when pathological evaluation with MRI is used.

The purpose of this study was to describe the school situation of adolescents who were subject to multisystemic therapy in Sweden, and also if a change could be measured after treatment. Factors that preceded the need for treament were also investigated. The sample consisted of 83 adolescents, boys (65 %) and girls (35 %), with an average age of 14 years. The method used was a secondary data analysis using pre-treatment- and post-treatment data collected from a 7-month follow-up conducted by Lunds Universitet. Results showed that the adolescents were low in school performance and high in truancy at pre-treatment.
