Bakgrunden till detta arbete var att företaget som kontaktades vill ta fram en ny modell av hästsportjacka. Arbetets syfte är att ta fram en modell som har form för funktionen. Vissa funktioner är mer viktiga än andra vid ridning, något som undersöks och presenteras i rapporten. Då många ryttare vistas utomhus blev det även viktigt att undersöka vikten av väderanpassade plagg. Ett grundmönster och en modell tas fram som även graderas.

Invoxicated is an interactive play sculpture where children can explore the wonderful and playful opportunities of sound. Talk into one end of the sculpture, and the sound will travel through the sculpture and come out in the other end. On its way, the sound gets distorted by a number of sound effects. By bending the sculpture?s body, and pressing the sculpture?s buttons, the sound effects gets altered in real time.

ABSTRACTThe aim of this study was to describe various methods of treatment and effects of treatment of ADHD, and to investigate wheater there is an association between adults with ADHD and obesity. Method:  Literature review. Twelve quantitative scientific articles were found in the data bases PubMed, Cinahl and MedLine.  Result: ADHD is a cognitive impairment that can lead to serious complications such as obesity. Studies show that drug treatments of adults with ADHD have positive effects in terms of reduced symptoms, increased efficiency and improved quality of life, but drugs can also cause side effects in form of loss of appetite and insomnia. For adults with ADHD and obesity drugs that affect metabolism have a significant impact on patients ability to lose weight.

To become old and live in an institution could mean that the habits and routines they have obtained during their lifetime and are used to may become changed. There are fixed norms and rules which the elderly more or less have to adjust to. The aim of this study was to describe how nursing staff attitudes influence on elderly care takers meal situation. The method of this study was a literature review. The result showed that norms and rules not always are adjusted to caretakers? wishes and needs.

Vid nya systeminvesteringar blir det idag allt vanligare att standardsystem väljs framför egenutveckling av ett skräddarsytt system. Införande av ett standardsystem påverkar verksamheten i lika hög grad som införande av ett egenutvecklat system gör. Det är viktigt att upphandlingsprocessen planeras och genomförs väl.I takt med att standardsystemen har utvecklats så har även forskningen på området ökat. Detta har resulterat i att ett antal modeller för upphandling av standardsystem har växt fram, dels för att underlätta arbetet med att inhandla ett standardsystem, dessutom kan en modell stärka kundens förhållande till leverantören.Arbetets främsta mål är att undersöka hur arbetsprocessen för upphandling av standardsystem går till idag. Vad anser företag är viktigt att behandla under upphandlingsprocessen, vilka likheter finns mellan företagen och vad skiljer sig åt.

Syfte med studien var att kartlägga och jämföra sjuksköterskors uppfattningar av två olika arbetstidsmodeller i relation till arbetstider, hälsa samt möjlighet till återhämtning.Bakgrund. Inom Hälso- och Sjukvården krävs effektivitet, färre personer ska utföra mer med bättre kvalitet till lägre kostnad. Inom VLL används arbetstidsmodeller för att ha kostnadskontroll, minska vikariebehoven och få bort övertid. Arbete dag, kväll och natt ger korta återhämtningsperioder med risk för ohälsa, minskad återhämtningstid med negativa konsekvenser som följd.Metod. Studien genomfördes som en tvärsnittsstudie med enkätsamling.

Uppsatsen behandlar explorativt en svensk modell för informationsoperationer, avseende ledning ochplanering, vilken skall kunna verka från nationellt försvar till deltagande i multinationell krishantering.Syftet med uppsatsen är att bringa kunskap om var Sverige står i dagsläget avseende synen påinformationsoperationer som metod, samt ta fram en modell för ledning och planering som passar vårtsätt att leda och planera.I uppsatsen har en utvecklad kvalitativ metod använts. Metoden har inneburit kvalitativ analys av texteroch intervjumaterial. What effects deliberative democracy could have in this context are scientifically as well as publically relevant seeing that participation in representative democracies as well as the forms of representation is altering.The essay contains both a theoretical segment and a case study. The information regarding the case is based on the results from a questioner, conversations by and observations from the author. In addition an analysis is performed in the case study.The conclusion of the essay is that there is too little empirical research on the subject of deliberative democracy to make a qualified conclusion about what effects the practice of deliberative democracy could have on a representative democracy.

In this study, the effects of using fine milled cassava stems as an additive in biofuel pellet production was compared to the effects of refined starch addition. The bulk biomass fuel raw material, to which the additive was added, was a blend of spruce and pine sawdust. An experimental design in the factors cassava/starch content, moisture content and material temperature was used. Measured responses were pellet bulk density, pellet durability, amount of fines, pelletizer motor current, pellet temperature, die temperature and CV for pelletizer motor current (a measure of process stability). Each response was modeled by multiple linear regression (MLR).

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the most common economic effects of countries pursuing trade facilitation. Trade flows are constrained by non-tariff barriers and through trade facilitation these barriers can be decreased. We will study the effects of trade facilitation from a theoretical perspective and evaluate a number of empirical studies. Several different trade barriers will be identified as well as those regions and countries that will gain the most from trade facilitation. We draw the conclusion thatlarge gains would prevail for all countries and that the consumers, businesses and the state all benefit from trade facilitation.

This report is a thesis work for a B.Sc. in Forestry exam at the School for Forest Engineers, SLU. The work was an assignment from Södra Skogsägarna and the aim of the work was to investigate the economical and biological output after mechanical planting with Eco-Planter compared with traditional manual planting. Eco-Planter is a tool for mechanized planting, fixed at the end of the boom on a conventional harvester. The study confirms that manual planting is less expensive under normal conditions. However, the differences between mechanized and manual planting are not that big and with technical development and/or increased labor costs together with an improved work organization the system with Eco-Planter could be competitive. The biological output, e.g. planting result and survival rate, seems to be quite good.

Resultatet av studien visar att det är förvånansvärt liten skillnad mellan koncernbolagens utformning av styrning.

Within the subject of retouching there is an ongoing debate about whether fashion retailers should retouch their ads or not. There has been a large amount of criticism to the communication of stereotyped beauty ideals that is used by companies in their marketing. The stereotyped ideals also contribute to negative psychological effects among people. As a response to the criticism, or as a way to differentiate one-self from competitors, retailers are starting to use unretouched models in their advertising. How this affects the consumer's perception of CSR along with the attitudes and behaviors is still unknown.
