The purpose of this essay was to examine what consequenses of alcohol and narcotics that youth magazines describe and how the user and addict is described. My porpose was also to examine what situations the magazines claim that alcohol and narcotics are related to.The questions for my studie was:1. How is an alcoholic/drug addict /user described in youth magazines?2. What situations are related to alcohol/narcotics in youth magazines?3.

My essay is an examination of the poet Mina Loy and two poems that are essential in her authorship, these poems also represents a thematic entrance to Loys life and literary concepts. AbstractThe aim of this thesis is to examine Interreg as an instrument for regional policy in the European Union. Interreg is an initiative designed to strengthen economic and social cohesion throughout the European Union by fostering balanced development through cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation. But how does it work in practise? Three main questions are asked to answer this:How well does the implementation in the programmes work?How does the programme management look and how well does it work?What degree of efficiency does Interreg show in financial and physical effectiveness?With evaluation and implementation as theories the questions are answered together with a qualitative method. The conclusions that can be drawn is that Interreg strengthen European unions economic and social cohesion in form of integration and regional development that in many ways make it easier to travel and trade over the borders.

Introduktion: Under de senaste tre decennierna har forskare försökt nå konsensus kring frågan om den möjliga hämmande effekten av kombinerad konditions- och styrketräning avseende utveckling av muskelstyrka jämfört med enbart styrketräning. Senaste meta-analysen inom området fastställdes 2012 och har kartlagt forskningsresultat fram till 2008, där konklusionen påvisar att forskningsresultaten är tvetydiga. Syfte: Att genomföra en systematisk litteraturstudie i form av en aktuell kunskapssammanställning över den forskning som bedrivits inom området för kombinerad konditions- och styrketräning för att undersöka om kombinerad träning har en hämmande effekt på utvecklingen av muskelstyrkan. Metod: Studien är en litteraturgenomgång där data samlats in via de medicinska databaserna; PubMed, Web of science, CINAHL, Scopus, AMED, Cochrane library och Physical education index. De sökord och sökordskombinationer som användes var; Concurrent training AND Endurance training AND Combined, Concurrent training AND Physical fitness AND Resistance training och Concurrent training AND endurance training AND Resistance training.

Taiwan has over the past thirty years experienced a substantial political transformation. Being ruled by Chinese nationalists since World War II, Taiwan started its democratic transition in the late eighties. The new democratic system did not only provide people with freedom to vote, it also marked the beginning of a search for a new national identity. Based on the international theory of constructivism, this paper defines and studies the Taiwanese people?s progression away from a dominant Chinese national identity towards a uniquely defined Taiwanese identity.

As no previous studies have been done in order to review the adaptation of RG:s work and its effects on the disabled, the purpose of this paper is to examine spinal cord injured individuals perception of independence concerning situation of life, ability to function and physical activity.MethodData have been collected by using three questionnaires.

In this paper we take a look at digital applications to help the user with public transportation. The main goal was to evaluate the problem a user can face when aiming to use the public transportation system, and to create a application for Apple Iphone that can enhance and help the user, no matter if he is familiar with the local public transportation system, or if he is less familiar with it. The aim was that the user wouldnt need any previous knowledge to be able to use our application. We combined Location-Based Services with Realtime-travelinformation and trip planning to examine if this combination could make both of the two different user-groups satisfied. To understand the problematics a user faces when approaching the public transportation-scene, Scenario-Based Design is evaluated as a method to grasp this problem.
