I denna uppsats prövas orsakssambandet mellan USA:s militärstrategiska kultur och dess armédoktrin FM 1 (Field Manual 1). Syftet är att påvisa i vilken grad som den militärstrategiska kulturen påverkat utformningen av doktrinen och om detta element kan sägas utgöra en självklar grund till doktrinens kontext. Focus lies on how to create a courtyard on beam joists where shape, style and different types of functions are important elements. The report also brings up ground materials, details, plants, availability and built up plantings. All these aspects together are what create a well functioning and pleasant courtyard. All through the work with this report I have taken part of the meetings concerning the project.

Background: Overweight in children has been an increasing problem in recent years and research show that early intervention is important. The parents? diet- and exercise habits are important to lay the foundation for a healthy lifestyle for their children. Aim: To investigate parents? attitudes towards overweight in children.

In my essay the dilemmas originate from what I have experienced. I have observed myself and some of my colleagues, how we meet children who are lacking the qualifications which school and most pedagogues expect them to have. Focus, in my written experiences, is on children who live in poverty, but how we meet and act toward them is often quite the same independent of what qualifications they are lacking. With the support from literature and theories I reflect and analyse the dilemmas. Through essaywriting I investigate my practical knowledge and I examine how we as pedagogues handle the complex situations encounter when in school and how it is possible to understand why we act the way we do.I think that the knowledge which essaywriting gives me will strengthen me as a person and in my work as a teacher for after-school-center.

Over the years, the number of students steadily declined andthe reason lies partly in the school's physical environment which cancertainly be regarded as substandard. This despite the fact that it islocated right next to Sweden´s largest trading block. A thorough analysisof the school building and the ambient area has been made incombination with a continuous dialogue with students and staff at theschool.

In the project Echoing Nature i have searched a design for an exhibi¬tion concept. That visualizes the natural phenomenon of self-assem¬bling materials in a simplified way. My question is, how can you emo¬tionally re-connect the modern man to nature and raise awareness. I assume my thesis that the experience of a natural phenomenon can inspire us to see a bigger context, provoke curiosity and generate an initial sense of belonging to nature. The result is an interactive sculp¬ture that consists of 3-dimensional Tetris blocks.

Manual para defensores y defensoras de derechos humanos" som är utgiven av organisationen CEJIL (Center for Justice and International Law) som verkar i Nord- och Sydamerika. Först ges en förberedande textanalys där källtexten och förutsättningarna för översättningen beskrivs. I den följande analysen studeras översättningsproblem som rör textens komplicerade meningsbyggnad och tunga koordinationsfraser. Utifrån olika teorier och artiklar om svenskt klarspråk studeras det vilka strategier som har använts för att skapa en enkel och tydlig text på svenska.

Abstract This paper seeks to answer how well the unit managers in a community live up to its responsibility for rehabilitation. What opportunities and obstacles center managers feel that they have in the rehabilitation process and their expertise in rehabilitation are adequate. The essay is based on qualitative, in which six interviews were conducted to help capture the Heads of Unit subjective experiences. Five of the respondents are heads of units in the elderly, and an interview with the rehabilitation coordinator of the municipality. Respondents' comments and relevant literature form the basis for this essay.

This study intends to nuance the problems that previous research and previous researchers have de­fined as democratic deficits in the European Union and ends up in conducting a textual anal­ysis of the latest European Union treaty, the Lisbon Treaty.The aim is that by using previous research on the democratic deficit in the European Union examine whether the Lisbon Treaty has enhanced the EU's position regarding democratic legitimacy. In other words, my study aims to identify what the deficit is and if it exists.The results show that the Lisbon Treaty has been trying to improve the democratic legitimacy and that some practical adjustments have been made, but it also show that there is much that still can be improved before citizens have full democratic rights..

The essay is written at the request of Nyköping municipality park management by PatRadestedt who wanted a design proposal for one of the five courtyards at the Tessin Schoolin Nyköping. The Tessin School is located 2 miles from the center of Nyköping and the schoolhouses approximately 900 students. To make a design proposal for the courtyard that lies atthe canteen I decided from the outset that I wanted to take some of the Tessin SchoolStudents' opinions and wishes regarding their own outdoor spaces. I had a workshop witheight students from the arts program with the image orientation in which they had to drawand tell them what they wanted to do in the courtyard. The outcome of the workshop, Iused to move forward in my future work with a concept that fit into the environment, wethen apply it in my final design proposal.
