The aim of this study was to examine how Tanzanian HIV-positive women experience their socioeconomic situation. Semistructured interviews were carried out and the number of interviewees was 15. Collected data was analysed according to a qualitative content analysis and resulted in an overarching theme; Struggle for survival and tolerable life. Important in the lives of the informants was the access to economic and social resources. The informants described access to economic resources as important because of the possibilty to support oneself and the possibility of a lower level of physical strain.

Aim: To investigate the quality of life and the social life situation, with special focus on the consequenses of fear of hypoglycemia (FoH), in Islet transplanted patients.Method: 11 patients were included, four women and seven men, who have been Islet tranplanted at Uppsala University Hospital during the years 2001-2009. Two questionaires, Short Form 36 (SF-36) and the Swedish version Hypoglycemia Fear Survey (Swe-HFS) were used to investigate the quality of life, in relation to fear of hypoglycemia. Also, telephone interviews were conducted to investigate the patients social life situation in relation to FoH, after Islet transplantation and were analysed using content analysis method.Results: The mean value for quality of life was lower than that in the normal population. Three out of ten patients experienced FoH. Three predominant themes were revealed, one theme associated with pre- transplant, was ?Struggle for control of Social Life Situation? and two themes associated with post-transplant, were ?Regain power and controll of  Social Life Situation? and ?At Peace with the balance between the Present and the Future?.Conclusion: The patients experienced improved control over social life situation and quality of life in relation to FoH may been improved following islet tranplantation..

Den här uppsatsen handlar om HTF:s och Sif:s arbete med jämställdhet och mångfald. Hur de som fackförbund är förebilder med möjlighet att påverka samhället. Syftet med denna uppsats är att studera om det svenska inkomstutjämningssystemet har direkta skattehöjande effekter och om inkomstutjämningssystemet påverkar hur kommuner svarar på skattehöjningar i konkurrerande kommuner. Teorin säger att system för inkomstutjämning, baserat på skillnader i skattebas, kan påverka skattesättningen på lokal nivå. Genom ett inkomstutjämningssystem baserat på finansiell kapacitet kompenseras kommuner för den dödviktsförlust som uppstår till följd av höjda skatter. Skattebasen kommer att minska i kommuner som tar ut en högre skattesats eftersom individer och företag flyttar sin verksamhet till kommuner med lägre skattesats. Detta leder i sin tur till att bidraget från inkomstutjämningen ökar eftersom skillnaden i skattebas har ökat.

The purpose of this essay is to explore how I can meet children with different kinds of attention deficit disorders. What can I do when the child kicks me and makes me cry? How can I handle it right so that the child and I can feel good? In my text I am writing about how I can prioritize my way when I am angry. I wonder how to prioritize my feelings and feel safe with the other person. I am developing these questions in my text.

I enlighet med den trend som råder inom den tekniska utvecklingen i samhället i stort, introduceras nu ett sätt för bankers kunder att ha personliga rådgivningsmöten via Internet. Tidigare har sådana möten skett ansikte mot ansikte på det bankkontor som kunden tillhör. Det finns en rad fördelar med att tjänster sker online som exempelvis tideffektivitet, geografiskt oberoende och mer flexibelt i allmänhet. Den här kvalitativa studien handlar om en underökning kring hur personliga (finansiella) rådgivare upplever att arbeta med den här typen utav möten, närmare bestämt vilka faktorer som de anser viktiga när möten som skett ansikte mot ansikte kan komma att ske online. Studien innefattar ett induktivt tillvägagångssätt i syfte att ta reda på dessa faktorer samt att granska dem utifrån ramverket datorstött samarbete och synsättet kroppsbaserad kognition.

The intention with the study is to describe the home and life conditions for boys at the age range between 13 to 18 year, who has been under custody according to the § 2 LVU.The empiric is 21 real court cases, judged in Stockholm and to Stockholm counted surround-ings 2006, in which the range of the boys were representative.A text analyze method is used to execute the study. The study penetrates the life situation of the caregiver and how their situation affects the boy and the boys actions.The total conclusion of the study, based on an ecological evolution perspective, is that life-situation of the caregiver affects the boys and the boys actions.The boys are affected negatively by the situation of their caregivers, and according to the study, the boys have established own problems, like difficulties in school, criminality, or other psychological diagnoses. They are also often exposed to physical or psychological violence by the caregiver. Additionally the conclusion is that the caregiver neglect the boys in many other ways, prior themselves and their needs before the boys..

Denna uppsats behandlar i vilken utsträckning svenska tillverkande företag med 20-100 anställda tillämpar huvudmomenten inom Target Costing. Dessutom undersöks om det finns samband mellan tillämpningen av Target Costing-momenten och kundstyrning samt entreprenöriellt agerande. Fortsättningsvis undersöks eventuella kopplingar mellan Target Costing och företagens finansiella prestation. Relationen mellan Target Costing och finansiell prestation undersöks även vid olika nivåer av kundstyrning och entreprenöriellt agerande. Totalt tillfrågades 280 slumpvis utvalda företag ifall de ville delta i undersökningen.

The purpose of this study was to examine what previous research says about children?s experiences living in a low-income family. Its aim was to found out what children themselves say about their life living in a low-income family and what consequences, practical and emotional, low-income environment has on children. More specifically our aim was to find out how children themselves experienced their situation compared with their peer?s economical situation.

AbstractThe purpose with the study is to contribute knowledge of teacher?s thoughts of, and actions in potentially stress filled situations at preschool. The methods I?ve been using are qualitative interviews and unstructured observations of hallway situation at dressing and the transit between lunch and rest.At the interviews with the teachers it showed that none of them feels stressed but there are stress filled situations. The lunch and transit between lunch and rest is a stressful situation, where there is a lot to do, like the dishes, the teachers break and the lie-down.

The purpose of this study has been to examine what it is in the situation that affects which leadership that is applied on the members of the organization. Our questions that we have explored were; What is it in the situation that influences the leadership applied on an individual or staff group? What similarities and differences have emerged by Hersey and Blanchards situational leadership model?Further, we used qualitative semi-structured interviews at the interview procedures with three managers and three employees. Hersey and Blanchards situational leadership model and Goffmans theory in the book "The presentation of self in everyday life" have been used as a foundation and inspiration in this study.We have found that circumstances like the size of the staff group along with the organizations financials and the resources affect the leadership behavior and how well it is matched with the employees. The function of the leaders position in the context, and the purpose of the situation influences how the leadership is formed.

Syftet med vår uppsats var att undersöka hur en vikarie upplever sin situation av att arbeta som vikarie. Det kan vara mycket påfrestande att inte veta när man ska jobba, man har inte möjlighet att planera sin tid och ekonomi på samma sätt som fast anställda. Den empiriska studien skedde genom intervjuer med fyra vikarierande undersköterskor på ett äldreboende. Resultatet visade att alla respondenterna upplever situationen som vikarie som påfrestande. Detta beroende på att det finns begränsade arbetstillfällen och att man lever i en oviss ekonomisk situation.
