AbstractStudiens syfte är att undersöka hur lärares uppfattningar om elevers socioekonomiska bakgrunder inverkar på studierna och undervisningen i samhällskunskap på gymnasiet, samt mot bakgrund av detta avhandla mer allmänna frågor och problem om skolan som institution för jämlikhet och likvärdighet.Utifrån detta syfte har tre gymnasielärare i samhällskunskap på gymnasiet intervjuats. Dessa intervjuer har sedan genomgått en ideologikritisk analys utifrån den teoretiska utgångspunkten, som utgörs av den dialektiska materialismen. Resultatet av analysen visar att lärarna tillsammans med utbildningssystemet i stort styrs av en dominerande utbildningsmässig diskurs, som tilltalar de elever med studietradition från hemmet i större utsträckning än de utan. Således sker det en utbildningsmässig segregation inom samhällskunskapsämnet på gymnasiet beträffande elevers socioekonomiska bakgrund.

This report is the final result of the master thesis that have been done at  Sharpman Engineering. Sharpman Engineering is a small development and manufacturing company that produces and make drawings for everything from heavy duty log raft to aids for disabled people. The purpose have been to make one concept that make it easy for elderly and people having problem with knee- and back problem to stand up from a sitting position. The final result will the company have for further investigations and use for a pre-serial production with the goal to produce a new working product.To get an overview of what is on the market have a comprehensive survey has been done, followed by a survey on patent. This patent survey are for no intrusion on existing patents should occur and give new ideas.

Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka vilka intentioner gymnasieungdomar som går teoretiska program i Luleå har för att börja arbeta direkt efter gymnasiet samt vilka faktorer som påverkar deras intentioner. De faktorer som undersöks är attityder, subjektiva normer och upplevd beteendekontroll som, enligt Icek Ajzen?s (1991) teori om planerat beteende (TPB), påverkar intentionen till beteendet. Undersökningen genomfördes med en enkät utformad efter Ajzen?s (2002) instruktioner, vilken besvarades av 50 elever vid Luleå Gymnasieby.

Syftet med arbetet är att se hur begreppet hållbar utveckling presenteras i svenska läroböcker inom ämnet geografi vid gymnasiet. Jag har även haft som syfte att undersöka förhållandet mellan läroböckernas texter med det rådande forskningsläget kring begreppet hållbar utveckling. För att få svar på frågeställningen har jag använt mig av en textanalytisk metod av tre läroböcker som är vanligt förekommande i undervisning i geografi vid gymnasiet. Resultatet visar på att man använt sig av en ytlig presentation av begreppet hållbar utveckling, vilket stämmer väl in på hur man valt att presentera nya händelser som tex. konferenser, rapporter etc.

This final thesis is performed on commission of Hargs Bruk Ltd. Hargs Bruk manages one of Sweden?s largest privately owned forests. A main part of the managed forest is situated in Roslagen in eastern Uppland. Since 1934 felling calculations have been performed within the estate every tenth year.

This is a final project which makes up 20 credits at the Landscapearchitecture programme at SLU in Alnarp. The thesis is design based. My final project is comprised two parts; of a competition entry for ? A New Square in the Centre of Täby? as well as a theoretical study that derives from the competition proposal. The competiton itself was announced on March 1st 2007 with the final hand-in date on May 28th 2007. The program of the competition asked for a flexible urban square that offers a diverse range of activities that can be used during both night and day, all year around. I became interested in the term ?mutlifunctionality? and I went on to use the subject as a base for my design approach.

To get an optimal print result with rotogravure on improved newsprint, MF-paper, knowledge aboutwhat adjustment that should be done through the whole production is needed. This degree project investigatesthe reproduction?s effect on the final print result.A test print is done at Quebecor World Nordic Interprint´s regular print unit. The evaluation of theprint shows how important the use of a unit adjusted ICC-profile is for the print quality. A comparisonbetween the two separation methods GCR and UCR shows that Interprint´s present ICC-profile, usingUCR as separation method, gives less missing dots.

Biogas is a renewable energy produced through anaerobic digestion, which means that organic matter is degraded by microorganisms under anaerobic conditions. The produced biogas can then be used for cogeneration, electricity, heat or upgraded to vehicle gas. Eskilstuna Energy & Environment AB has four digesters at Ekeby water sewage treatment plant, Eskilstuna. One of the biogas reactor (RK4) is equipped with a jet-mixing system while the remaining digester uses top-mixing. The mixing system is an important parameter to achieve optimum operating conditions for the process regarding gas production and degree of digestion.

Undersökningens syfte har varit att ta del av likheter och skillnader i gymnasieelevers uppfattningar om Matematikvägen, utifrån frågeställningen ?Vilka upplevelser har eleverna av Matematikvägen??. Metoden för undersökningen har varit intervju.Matematikvägen är ett grepp att möta elever med ett stort matematikintresse inför och på gymnasiet. Detta görs genom att eleverna får möjlighet att läsa ungefär halva gymnasiets Matematik A redan under sista terminen på grundskolan. Eleverna ligger på så sätt en termin före de som läser matematiken på normal fart vilket innebär att de det sista året på gymnasiet kan välja att läsa linjär algebra på högskolan.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka möjligheten att betygsätta elevers fantasi i ämnet svenska i B-kursen på gymnasiet. Materialet består av kvalitativa intervjuer med en lärare och fyra elever samt textanalys av dessa elevers provsvar. Intervjuerna har utgått från ett prov läraren formulerat och rättat, vilket eleverna skrivit svar på. Styrdokumenten för gymnasiet samt annan relevant litteratur har granskats och sedan kombinerats med resultaten från intervjuerna. Mitt resultat visar att formuleringarna i styrdokumenten samt den praktiska möjligheten i undervisningen inte ger något tydligt svar på om fantasi bedöms eller ska bedömas.

SCA is the largest private owned forest owner in Sweden, with an ownership of 2 million hectares of productive forestland. To manage the planning of such large areas and to fit the traditional organization structure of a Swedish forest company, the planning approach is subdivided into three stages; strategic, tactical and operational. The strategic part, based on a statistic sample of stands, returns a harvest level estimate which should then be implemented at actual sites in the tactical part. This procedure can lead to incompatible solutions as the strategic solution is not necessarily possible to translate into actual sites in the tactical plan. The geographic aspect is important in tactical planning due to the large costs for moving equipment and maintenance of a large number of forest roads.

SAMVERKAN MELLAN HEM OCH SKOLA PÅ GYMNASIET? HUR SER PEDAGOGER SAMT ELEVER PÅ DEN?ABSTRAKT Uppsatsens syfte är att ta del av vad pedagoger och elever anser om samverkan mellan hem och gymnasieskola. Uppsatsen innefattar en litteraturdel som behandlar forskning kring ämnesområdet samt att skolans läroplaner behandlar samverkan mellan hem och skola. Som metod har såväl kvalitativa som kvantitativa utnyttjats för att belysa pedagogernas och elevernas uppfattning. Resultatet påvisar att samverkan avtar under gymnasiet samtidigt som pedagogerna uttrycker en önskan om att föräldrar engagerar sig mer.

This degree project has been carried out in cooperation with Enertech AB in Ljungby and is pilot study to automating all current manual soldering. The soldering process accounts for a large part of the processing cost in the production of a heat pump. The process is also a quality risk and has a major impact on the lifetime of the final product.The Main task of this project has been to evaluate automation of the soldering process, to develop automation solutions and a principle layout, to draw the design changes required for the automation and to calculate the supposed solution.This pilot study has resulted in a suggested automation solution using laser as a heat source for soldering. Calculations of the solution show that a automating a laser soldering cell is very profitable..

This thesis aims at investigating the two municipality?s Gislaved and Ljungby. Where the aim is to see if there is any connections, between the type and the degree of public-private partnerships, and the municipalities obtained environment performance. In this essay the starting point is that the environmental performance in the chosen municipalities is good.Interviews among local politicians and representatives for the municipalities plastic industries, has functioned as a way to test the hypothesis. Gislaved and Ljungby have thereafter been compared, in order to see if there is any similarity in the sort and the degree of public-private partnerships, and how that will affect the environmental performance. The overall questions in this essay are:How can the cooperation among the chosen municipalities and the      local business life be described? What kind of Public-private partnership      exists in the selected municipalities?Is there any difference between the municipalities, referring to      the degree of cooperation between the municipalities and the local      business life? Does the degree of cooperation affect the progress on the environmental      performance? The end result shows that the local business life doesn?t have any impact on the environmental performance.

The definition of procrastination can be described as a behavior with deliberate postponement of tasks or commitments despite expected negative consequences for the individual and his or her environment. This study examined how widespread this behavior is among students in higher education in Sweden. Using a web-based survey, data was collected for analysis. A statistical program, SPSS, was used for evaluation of the collected data. The purpose of this study was to examine whether there are differences in the degree of procrastination between students located on campus versus students who do their education at distance.
