The aim for this paper is to investigate how a limited number of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their vocational competence, which kind of power the persons in the essay experience to have in their workplace and which kind of status they experience that they have in comparison with other occupational groups in their schools. The final aim of the paper is to find out how teachers interact with youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues when it comes to their vocational competence. My questions are:How do a group of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their professional assignments?How does a group of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their power in their workplace in comparison with other occupational groups?How do a limited number of youth recreation leaders and leisure-time pedagogues view their status in relation to teachers, other occupational-groups and parents? Which role have my respondents been assigned by their team and why do they think they have gotten that role?To answer these questions I have used a qualitative method which includes four in depth interviews. The overall theoretical perspectives are symbolic interactionism and social constructivism.

This report describes the bachelor degree project called ?A case study in strategic product design in collaboration with Elfa? carried out by Mathieu Gustafsson and Pär Rickberg,students at Carl Malmsten Furniture Studies.We had the opportunity to do our degree project in collaboration with ELFA after a previous school project where we made suggestions for new products. Initially the brief was to develop new products for the company which was based on previous proposals.Reasoning led us in to design strategies and how to use such a strategy to develop newproducts for ELFA. During our first superficial analysis of ELFA and its current products, we found that we wanted to recast the framework of identity and context in which the product would be created. According to the researches made by SVID (The Swedish Industrial Design Foundation),companies that continually are working with design strategies strengthens the brand, its competitiveness and become more innovative.

I have together with Frimeko AB developed new hallway furniture for preschools. The background to the project is the fact that all the existing hallway furniture?s on the market today have a similar design and same features. None of the furniture stands out immediately. Companies who work with school furniture in general have been inspired by each other, and therefore is the collections monotonous.

Eftersom antalet gymnasieelever som går direkt till universitetsstudier har minskat och även de totalt antal sökande har minskat måste universitet/högskolor arbeta på att öka sin marknadsföring för att försöka påverka eleverna till att börja läsa. För att på bästa sätt kunna påverka eleverna måste marknadsföraren hitta de bakomliggande åsikterna i attityden mot vidareutbildning för att kunna utforma eller justera marknadsföringsstrategin. Uppsatsen bygger på två frågor, den första handlar om elevers attityder gentemot vidareutbildning och den andra belyser vad som är viktigt vid valet av högskola/universitet.Genom en enkätundersökning som vi genomfört på olika gymnasieskolor i Sverige har vi undersökt elevernas attityder gentemot vidareutbildning. Vi fann att 80 % av eleverna har positiva attityder till att läsa vidare efter gymnasiet. 18 % vill läsa vidare direkt efter gymnasiet, 62 % vill läsa vidare men först efter ett till tre år.

The interviews took place inApril 2014. The interviews were recorded and then analyzed to bring out the similarities anddifferences between the companies.Results & Conclusion: The study shows that Swedish companies corporate cultures haveconnections with internal communication, and implementation of social media as acommunications tool. The study found that connections to companies with a comprehensiveone-way positive consider social media as alternative communication tool to strengthen theunity and community within the company.Suggestion for further research: One of the study's three companies is owner-led and thiscompany showed a high level of corporate culture.

The local politicians in Sweden are responsible for a great deal of the welfare system why one would assume that there are a lot of demands put on them - demands for certain skills or a certain level of competence. I have in this study tried to find out how the demands on the local representatives concerning the demands for competence and the actual level of competence among the politicians are affecting the local politics. This was done through investigating how the local politicians are perceiving their level of competence and the demands put on them, but also how the employees are perceiving the demands and the level of competence put on the politicians. The study was made in the municipality of Gislaved in Southern Sweden. I was using both quantitative method (an opinion poll among the politicians and employees in the municipality) and qualitative method (interviews with three politicians and three employees and literature studies).In order to investigate the demands for competence I split the concept into ?soft? competence (socially and emotionally based skills), and ?hard? competence (skills based on knowledge, education and experience).

Syftet med studien är att i valfrihetens spår studera hur denna valfrihet utnyttjas och vilka utbildningsvägar en elevkohort tar. Studieobjektet är tre elevkohorter som gick årskurs 5 i tre skolor i tre olika stadsdelar i Uppsala. Med hjälp av statistik som bearbetats från Uppsala kommuns elevdatabaser har utbildningsvägar fastställts och analyserats mot den socioekonomiska bakgrunden i stadsdelarna. För att förklara utbildningsvägarna användes teoretiska begrepp såsom utbildningskapital som lånats av Pierre Bourdieu. Resultaten visar att den vanligaste studievägen för elever från Sunnerstaskolan är att efter årskurs 5 välja friskola och sedan ett studieförberedande program på gymnasiet.

It is based around a questionnaire aimed towards store managers and consequently used it to run regression analysis using the software package SPSS.Main results: The main result of the essay is that the motivation among store managers is positively related to the degree to which they absorb information. Thus, a possible problem exists for the corporation in that they need to make sure that the store managers are and stays motivated. Further, it seems that the longer a store manager has been employed by the corporation the less information is absorbed. BackgroundResearch shows that the majority of patients feel anxiety before and during anesthesia. It has been shown in several studies that preoperative anxiety may cause adverse effects in the postoperative course. Nurse anesthetists have a key role in creating a safe environment and the opportunity to use different interventions to reduce the degree of anxiety.AimThe aim of the study was to examine which interventions may reduce anxiety in adult patients before and during both general, local and regional anesthesia.DesignSystematic literature review with a quantitative approach.ResultsSeveral studies indicate that gabapentin and pregabalin can reduce anxiety before and during anesthesia. The anxiety reducing effect appeared to be dose dependent. The naturopathic drugs Citrus aurantium blossom and Passiflora incarnata Linneaus were found to reduce anxiety before anesthesia.

I den här studien undersöks hur ett antal lärare arbetar med genrer/texttyper och om deras arbetssätt passar andraspråkselever, alltså om deras undervisning är tillräckligt tydlig för att andraspråkselever ska uppnå en genrekunskap. Den teoretiska delen av studien presenteras i form av en litteraturgenomgång om forskning kring andraspråkslevers språkutveckling och olika genrepedagogiska inriktningar. I undersökningens litteraturstudier framkom två genredefinitioner som ger två olika genrepedagogiska inriktningar, därav en lämpar sig bättre utifrån andraspråkselevers behov. Intressant är att de två olika genredefinitionerna ger lärare olika utgångspunkter vilka påverkar deras arbetssätt. Lärarnas arbetssätt utifrån genredefinition ger eleverna olika förutsättningar för hur, bland annat, språkliga och strukturella skillnader tydliggörs mellan olika genrer/texttyper, vilket den här undersökningen synliggör.

The housing sector uses 40 % of the energy in Sweden and half of the electricity usage. Theuse of energy is the main reason to the increasing rate of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.This is the main motive but also a wish of higher safety, that is a higher rate of selfsufficientenergy production in Sweden, we want to decrease the need of using fossil fuel. Now whenthe energy price rise, the interest in energy issues increase and more people discuss thepossibility of reducing the usage of fossil fuel. A change to renewable energy such as sun,wind and water is the only solution where we can get a sustainable development.One way to contribute to a better use of energy is to build in the principle of passive house.The house is being built with a thick and tight insulation. If you use a heat-exchanger withhigh degree of efficiency and a final heating battery on the ventilation system, the heat fromlamps, devices and the ones living in the house should be enough to fulfil the criteria ofliving.

En analys av två läroböcker i historia med utgångspunkt i eurocentrismen (Engelsk titel) Individ och Samhälle, Historievetenskap och lärande, Lärarexamen 270 hp, Malmö Lärarutbildning, Malmö Högskola 2008 Syftet med denna undersökning är att undersöka eventuell eurocentrism i det språk som används i gymnasieläroböcker i historia samt att koppla detta till relevanta styrdokument för historieundervisning i gymnasieskolan. Rent konkret syftar studien till att synliggöra mönster i lärobokstextens ordval och skrivning som kan kopplas till eurocentrismen. Denna undersökning utgår från kritisk lingvistisk textanalys av två olika läroböcker i historia A för gymnasiet. Resultatet för varje bok redovisas separat.

Syftet med studien är att få fördjupad insikt i hur sångpedagoger arbetar med musikteori i enskild sångundervisning på gymnasiet. I bakgrundskapitlet presenteras de rådande betygskriterierna inom ämnet Instrument eller sång I samt tidigare forskning och litteratur som har anknytning till studiens syfte. Jag har använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer och har sedan analyserat materialet ur ett sociokulturellt perspektiv. Samtliga informanter har utbildning från musikhögskola och arbetar vid gymnasieskolans estetiska program. De beskriver sin syn på musikteori ur ett sångperspektiv, berättar hur de arbetar med musikteori i sin undervisning samt ger exempel på hur eleverna kan motiveras till lärande. Resultatet visar att alla informanter anser att musikteori och notläsningsförmåga är viktigt för elevernas musikaliska helhetsbild.

Syftet med denna studie är att ge en bild av hur lärare i svenska på gymnasiet ser på datorspel som texter inom ämnet svenska. Inledningsvis har en enkätundersökning genomförts bland svensklärare på gymnasiet i Luleå och Bodens kommuner, därefter har kvalitativa intervjuer med tre lärare genomförts med enkätsvaren som grund för ett strategiskt urval. Resultaten visar att de studerade lärarna generellt sett har låg kunskapsnivå och få erfarenheter av datorspelande. De vittnar dock om att spelandet är vanligt hos deras elever. Flera respondenter har aldrig kommit på tanken att nyttja datorspel som text och hänvisar detta till brist på engagemang och kunskap om spelen.
