A LED spectrometer has been constructed for qualitative spectrometry using certain wavelenghts. The LEDs and the photodiode are being controlled with a microcontroller that is connected to a computer to power the components and save data. The spectroanalysis made with the LED spectrometer were significantly different to a standard spectrometer, concluding that more analysis should be made until a final product is ready. Some areas of improvements are suggested. .

The social imbalance recruitment has been a current topic for years. Since much research has focused on the higher education's problems with this, this thesis aims to investigate if you are already at the high school choice were influenced by your social background. To get a further dimension to this topic, the French sociologist Bourdieus thoughts on people's possession of, what he calls cultural capital was used, and we made use of it in the sense of parental education. Through a survey conducted in four ninth grades in two municipalities with different characteristics in terms of socio-economic conditions, we asked questions about their choice to high school. What programs did they choose? What factors were important? And which person had influenced them? The results showed a pretty clear dividing line between the pupils who came from homes with strong cultural capital to those who did not in the same sense.

This final thesis was performed at Ericsson in Gävle between April and June of 2008. Ericsson is a world leading manufacturer of radio base stations (RBS), which handles mobile phone traffic with 2G and 3G technology. The main purpose of this study is to examine if two different types of products (RBS and site material) should have different terms and conditions, today the terms and conditions are the same for both types. During the course of our study we have tried to think of the terms reliability, validity and generalization. The intention in doing that was to keep the thesis at a high academic level. To name an example of this we have tried to keep our minds at an objective level during the interviews and informal conversations.

I denna uppsats undersöks tre läroböcker i ämnet religion: en för år 4?6, en för år 6?9 och en för gymnasiet. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka förekomsten av variablerna röst och kausalitet samt att jämföra böckerna med varandra. Även läsbarheten har jämförts efter LIX-värdesmodellen. Materialet för undersökningen består av ett avsnitt i vardera av de tre läroböckerna, vilka alla behandlar hinduismen. Böckerna har samma författare men riktar sig till olika åldrar. Variabeln röst har mätts med hjälp av tre begrepp.

Detta examensarbete behandlar rollspel som undervisningsmetod inom historia på gymnasiet. Syftet var att undersöka hur denna undervisningsmetod stämmer in på pedagogiska teorier, samt vilket utrymme den har inom styrdokumenten Lpf 94 och kursplanen. De teorier som analyserades är de som representeras av Dewey, Piaget och Vygotskij. Läroplanen och kursplanen för historia A analyserades med hjälp av Blooms kunskapstaxonomi. Resultatet visar att rollspel i vissa delar passar in i pedagogiska teorier.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet var att ta reda på om det finns ett mönster i hur Uppsalas idrottande ungdomar konsumerar alkohol.Frågeställningar:? Följer alkoholkonsumtionen inom idrotten ett könsmönster?? Spelar den sociala tillhörigheten roll för alkoholkonsumtionen för idrottare?? Skiljer sig alkoholkonsumtionen mellan individuella idrottare och idrottare i lag?? Finns det ett samband mellan olika typer av idrotter och idrottarnas alkoholkonsumtion?MetodI arbetet användes både en kvantitativ metod via enkätsvar och en kvalitativ metod via intervjuer. Målgruppen avgränsades till aktivt idrottande ungdomar som läser idrott på gymnasiet. I de allra flesta fall gick ungdomarna i årskurs två på gymnasiet. Undersökningarna gjordes på fyra gymnasieskolor i Uppsala under lektionstid inom idrottsämnet.ResultatIdrottarna drack alkohol oftare än genomsnittet för samma åldersgrupp (17-18 års ålder).

Being able to predict the future had been an invaluable competitive advantage for any corporation. Forecasting is a vital part of any business, hence a good forecast allows enterprises to invest in a beneficial way. However, there are several ways to prepare forecasts and the forecast methodology can vary. An industry that is dependent on forecasts is the energy industry. By predicting consumers' energy consumption, Swedish energy companies can hedge on the Nordic power market Nord Pool.

The grain market is facing substantial changes. Tradionally, cereal has been a supply-led market i.e. supply conditions have had a major impact on price level or indirectly, through market interventions implemented through the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP). Just a few years ago, Sweden and the EU were not affected so strongly by world market prices for cereals. EU was a surplus-area and to a substantial degree a local market.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka svensklärares föreställningar om utbildningens roll för elevers kritiska tänkande och dess utvecklande. Vårt empiriska material har vi samlat in genom att intervjua tre lärare verksamma inom grundskolans tidigare år och tre lärare verksamma inom gymnasiet. I resultatet menar lärarna att det kritiska tänkandet är ett ifrågasättande och en reflektion som fungerar såväl inom skolan och svenskämnet som utanför. Det utvecklas enligt lärarna genom litteratur, nyhetsbearbetning och diskussioner. Nyttan med det kritiska tänkandet är enligt lärarna att våga ifrågasätta den information som man ställs inför. Det kritiska tänkandet fungerar även som ett verktyg för att tolka de budskap som andra människor sänder ut. Slutsatsen är att utvecklandet av kritiskt tänkande är svårt att ge enkla svar kring.

Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet arkitektur på gymnasiet och kurserna Arkitektur-hus och Arkitektur-rum som blev implementerade via gymnasiereformen GY11. Med hjälp av etnografisk metod undersöks hur lärare förhåller sig till kurserna Arkitektur-rum och Arkitektur-hus mot Skolverkets styrdokument för Teknikprogrammet inriktning samhällsbyggande och miljö/arkitektur, respektive på Estetiska programmet inriktning bild och form, profil inredning och design i skoluppgifter. Avgångselever våren 2014 i gymnasieskolan var de elever som hösten 2011 började på gymnasiet i den nya gymnasiereformen GY11 och blir därmed de första elever som genomfört kurserna i arkitekturämnet.Syftet med undersökningen är också att belysa de diskurser som synliggörs i samtal med lärarna om ämnet och på så sätt diskutera och närma sig arkitektur som en visuell och materiell kultur inom gymnasieskolan. Forskningsresultatet visar på att lärarna arbetat varierat och med stor användning av utomhuspedagogik och stadsstudier samt med ämnesintegrering där det varit möjligt. Tydliga diskurser framkom i elevuppgifterna och i samtalet om arkitekturämnet..

Utgångspunkten för denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur sånglärare på gymnasiet talar med elever om instudering och att få en inblick i vilka metoder de erbjuder sina elever att använda sig av när de ska lära sig en ny sång, samt att undersöka eventuella skillnader i pedagogiska infallsvinklar mellan de olika sånglärarna. Jag vill också ta reda på hur de intervjuade sånglärarna förhåller sig till läroplanen Lgy11 när det kommer till musikalisk instudering. Studien genomförs med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer med fem sånglärare, verksamma i gymnasieskolan i Sverige. Resultatet visar att samtliga sånglärare har skapat egna metoder för musikalisk instudering utifrån olika medierande redskap. De huvudsakliga redskap som används är texttolkning, lyssning, visuella bilder, interpretation och i viss mån notbild.
