The purpose of this essay is to examine how a newly built library and an old library from the sixties work out of an experience and feeling oriented view. Are the fundamental conditions of an old library compatible with the library standards of today? To be able to carry out this examination we have chosen two rather small Swedish libraries. One is the public library of Hässleholm, which opened in the year 2000, and the other is the public library of Kristianstad opened in 1965. The material used to attain the purpose of the study consists of literature studies and qualitative observations and interviews.

Vårt syfte med denna kvalitativa studie var att granska hur pedagoger bemöter pojkar och flickor, hur medvetna de var i sitt bemötande och se om det fanns någon skillnad i deras medvetenhet och hur de agerade i praktiken. Metoderna som användes för att få fram empiri var observationer och intervjuer som sedan har jämförts med varandra. Undersökningarna har skett på två olika förskolor, där vi har besökt en avdelning på varje förskola. På dessa två avdelningar var barnen i åldrarna 3-5 år. Det var sex pedagoger som medverkade i studien.På den första förskolan fanns det lite större skillnader i bemötandet.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur skådespelarens scenkonstnärliga uttryck påverkas av att gå från tal till sång, och vad som är orsaken till skådespelarens eventuella osäkerhet inför användningen av sin sångröst. Tanken att skriva en uppsats om skådespelaren och sångrösten, kommer av att författaren till uppsatsen observerat sångundervisning på en av Sveriges högre utbildningar för skådespelare. Författaren har också funnit inspiration till uppsatsen från litteratur som riktar sig till skådespelare och artister som önskar utveckla sången i sitt yrke. För att kunna jobba praktiskt med sång integrerat i skådespeleriet, önskade författaren få veta vad skådespelare och skådespelarelever själva har för förhållande till sina egna sångröster och hur pass stor betydelse de anser att sången har för deras skådespelarkarriär. Arbetets uppläggning bygger på litteratur inom området teater, sång, och psykologi med fokus på självförtroende och tillit till egen förmåga.

Mitt syfte med detta examensarbete är att få en inblick i gymnasieungdomars livsfrågor, samt studera huruvida det finns en religiös dimension i deras resonemang. För att få svar på detta har jag visat en film och i samband med denna genomfört två kvalitativa fokusgruppsintervjuer med åtta gymnasieungdomar. I transkriberingen av intervjuerna har jag urskiljt sju teman som visat sig vara centrala när ungdomarna resonerar kring livsfrågor. Resultatet av min empiriska undersökning stämmer till stor del överens med den tidigare forskning och de teorier som jag presenterar inom ämnesområdet.När ungdomarna reflekterar och samtalar kring livsfrågor befinner de sig ofta i den egna sfären. De livsfrågor som ungdomarna i min empiriska undersökning uppmärksammar är framförallt kärlek, identitet, orättvisor men också familj och vänner, ångest och stress samt döden.

Democracy is now a legitimate claim not only in the society but even in the classrooms. According to the 1994 Curriculum for the Non-Compulsory School System, Lpf 94 in Sweden, are all pupils in all types of schools ought to have a high level of possibilities to be able to influence their education. But many studies have led to unsatisfactory results about the actual situation in schools. Swedish students are critical of the limited opportunities they have in influencing their own learning process. This essay is only one among the many studies that have dealt with school democracy during the last 50 years.

This study examines whether the ownership structure of Swedish firms contributes to explain the variations in executive pay. A regression analysis was performed on 102 companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. The analysis suggests a negative relationship between ownership structure and executive pay after taking company profitability and size into account. The result is in line with previous studies and the agency theory. This indicates that large shareholders have a stronger position in Swedish companies or that large shareholders monitor the management to a larger extent, rather than providing incentives.

Search terms that were used were: children, young adults, adolescents, cognition, and breakfastSelection criteria: Ages 12-20 years, measures cognition, RCT, studies comparing breakfast eating with omitting breakfast, human studies, language English or Swedish, no sick adolescents or adolescents with diagnosis.Data collection and analysis: Two original articles met the inclusion criteria and were reviewed by the SBU audit template for RCT studies.

Assessment of hearing aids can be done by inventories. The result of the inventories can show the patients need and how the hearing aids works in the patients daily life. The result of the inventories can be influenced by the difference in languages and the cultures. The inventory IOI-HA should not be sensitive to those factors.The aim of this study was to compare and analyse material, method and to report and analyse the result from a pilot study made at Sahlgrenska University.The result showed that IOI-HA is a natural inventory which is able to be used internationally. The four studies in England, USA, the Netherlands, and Germany showed that the psychometric properties are similar across languages and cultures.

The main aim is to find out how masculinity, sexuality and gender are constructed in this erotic fantasy. More over terms as femininity, unmanliness and gender have relevance to the study. Several studies have been done on romance novels and Harlequin in particular from a gender perspective, but few of them from a masculine point of view. Hence, no earlier study has been done on Fifty Shades of Grey with masculinity studies as the main tool of masculinity, or with theories of romance.

The aim of this review is to evaluate the best way to transport the horse. When it comes to transporting horses there are a number of different types of trailers and trucks that you can choose from today. The most common type of trailer is designed for two horses and the horses are transported facing the direction of travel. In Sweden we have the highest rate of nontraditional students among Europe. Coincidently, we also have the highest rates of drop outs among OECD. In this particular field, drop out from higher education, there is a need fore more qualitative studies that can support the "statistics". Studies about experiences of drop outs are significant for society, university and individual. The aim of this study is to describe and understand how nontraditional student experiences drop out from higher education.
