We have in this study preformed a quantitative examination on how hooligans use film and new technologies to spread private videos on the Internet. With today´s technologies it is very easy for hooligans to publish their videos. In this study, we have choosen to do a questionnaire poll based on seven questions about what people think of hooliganviolence on online video sharing sites. We have also conducted an online interview with a former swedish hooligan. The people who participated in our study are all anonymous, and therefore we have no age or gender included in our study.

Varifrån kommer föreställningar om vad som är rätt eller fel, normalt eller onormalt? Hur har de uppstått och hur upprätthålls de? Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka hur sådana föreställningar kan uppstå och upprätthållas och att undersöka vilka sorts aktörer som är med i den processen samt hur de agerar och vad det bär med sig? Varifrån kommer till exempel föreställningarna om hur man ska bete sig för att uppfattas som en "normal" man eller kvinna? Vad händer när någon avviker från dessa normer och föreställningar?Jag har i min litteraturstudie funnit flera olika teoretiska perspektiv som är knutna till det vida begreppet kultur. Jag har närläst undersökningar där man kan studera hur norm, ideal och avvikelse, både i teorin och i praktiken, genererar normativa identiteter.De resultat jag har sett är att det görs skillnad på pojkar och flickor redan när barnen går på dagis. Denna åtskillnad att tjejer bland annat inte får ta för stor plats i det offentliga rummet eller höras för mycket eller att pojkar inte får bli för "lipiga" tar sin början innan barnen har en möjlighet att ta ställning till begreppen man eller kvinna. The concept of sustainable development is a challenge that demands cooperation from all levels of society for it to be successful. The focus for this thesis is how politicians within the local councils understand the concept of sustainable development and how they implement it in political decision-making.The basis for the study is a questionnaire that was distributed to 303 local politicians in three municipalities of varying size in Southern Sweden. The study concentrates on departments within the local councils that are directly connected to the Swedish environmental law and the Swedish planning and construction law. One of the primary goals with the aforementioned laws is the achievement of sustainable development within one generation.The outcome of the study was that over half of the local politicians could correctly define sustainable development according to the World Commission on Environment and Development?s (WCED) definition.

This essay examines a small selection of Swedish newsreel and documentary short films, primarily travelogues, produced shortly before and after the second world war. The general aim is to expose differences in the representation of ?The Other? and the ?ethnic Swede? by applying a critical discourse analysis. The purpose is to illuminate how the material positions the latter as the norm and then contextualize this with xenophobic currents that had developed up until the middle of the twentieth century. Theoretical and methodological framework is drawn from the field of cultural studies as well as the nonfiction film.

People in refuge face states with a dilemma. This dilemma consists of a wish (or obligation) to help those who need a refuge, and at the same time consider domestic issues such as financial costs and security problems. Thus, there are two perspectives which are important to consider when refugee policies are made. The aim of this paper is to see which perspective the EU had when making their migration policies. The question asked is: which perspective is behind the making of European refugee policy?The theories realism and idealism are used to describe the conflicts in the making of European refugee policies.

Monster fyller en väldigt viktig roll i dagens skräckfilm och skräckspel där en av deras största uppgifter är att vara skrämmande. Denna uppsats är en studie som fokuserar på hur man designar skrämmande monster inom spel och film. Vi har, med hjälp av teoretiska tolkningar, tagit reda på faktorer som kan påverka vad människor ser som monster samt hur man kan göra monstret skrämmande på en kognitiv nivå. Exempel på sådana här faktorer är kultur, etnicitet, religion. Även sexism och rasism har en betydelse i detta samband.

AbstractSyftet med detta arbete är att ta reda på om Bollywoodfilmer innehåller korta eller långa sekvenser med mindre ingående eller mer ingående sekvenser med religiöst innehåll. Detta har genomförts genom att jag först har skaffat en bakgrundskunskap om filmindustrin Bollywood, om Indien, och om hinduismen.                      För att genomföra undersökningen studerades fem Bollywoodfilmer och alla sekvenser med religiöst innehåll antecknades. Dessa sekvenser analyserades sedan och fick antingen stämpeln kort, mindre ingående eller längre, mer ingående.                       Resultatet blev att antalet sekvenser i filmerna varierar väldigt mycket från film till film. En film kunde innehålla endast kortare mindre ingående sekvenser eller många korta mindre ingående sekvenser och flera längre mer ingående sekvenser. Något som dock påverkade antalet sekvenser i filmerna var speltiden, de längre filmerna innehåller fler sekvenser än de kortare filmerna.Slutresultatet är att de kortare, mindre ingående sekvenserna är klart dominerande i Bollywoodfilmer. Nyckelord: Bollywood, hinduismen, Indien, Tid av glädje tid av sorg, Paheli, Lagaan, Marigold, Devdas..

Within the literature and film sciences there are clear models of storytelling and methods of creating a good story. In the game industry it's more difficult because the games are often non-linear, and games are a less established medium than the other two. With this study our purpose was to examine game developers and methods they used when creating a videogame, with focus on storytelling. Four interviews were made with representatives from four different videogame companies in Sweden. The information from the interviews was put in relation to theories regarding the structure of videogames and an established model for creating videogames.

The investigation aims to clarify to what extent non-conscious thought has efficacy in for instance decision making,and also examine some aspects of the question whether decisions are caused by free will. This is done by an analysisof new research in neuroscience, economics, the combination of the two within neuroeconomics, evolutionarytheory and especially the new theory of Unconscious thought (Nordgren & Dijksterhuis 2006), which will enjoyspecial scrutiny due to its recentness in the scientific field. A decision strategy ought to put high-level consciouscognition to use where it is most effective, and this is on a different level than the canonized one. Meta decisionmaking is decision making concerning which decisions ought to be made consciously. It is the area where the largestamount of freedom can be obtained wherein the largest amount of thought effort ought to be invested.

Syftet med vårt examensarbete var att undersöka huruvida lärares intention vid filmvisning överensstämmer med elevernas reception av samma film. Om dessa två faktorer inte överensstämde, ville vi även titta närmare på vad det var som styrde efterarbetet av filmvisningen: lärarens intention eller elevernas reception? Dessutom ville vi undersöka om det var någon skillnad på elevernas reception om läraren innan filmvisningen antingen berättade respektive inte berättade om filmen eller gav respektive inte gav anvisningar om vad de skulle titta på i filmen. Undersökningen genomfördes med hjälp av intervju med en lärare, observationer under filmen, enkäter i anslutning till filmen och observationer av lärarens eftersamtal med eleverna. Resultatet av vår studie visade att elevernas och lärarens reception av en och samma film divergerar men att det är lärarens intention som främst styr efterarbetet.

This phenomenon is relatively new and has been criticized not only because of the rules concerning compensation, but also from the point of view of permissibility.An intervention in the protection of property must fulfill the requirement of important public interest set out in RF 2 kap. 15 § in order for it to be allowed. There is no definition regarding what constitutes an important public interest, the only thing that exist is a non-exhaustive list in the preparatory work. This in turn has led to the creation of a broad discretion when it comes to determining what constitutes important public interests.

En film om en lärare, hans personlighet och mötet med eleverna.

Syftet med detta arbete är att undersöka vilka känslor och associationer elever vid gymnasiets estetiska program får vid lyssning av musik som är för tänkt för film, men utan bild. Utifrån att endast lyssna på musiken vill jag se om elevernas tolkningar förefaller lika varandra och om det finns genusskillnader. Jag vill utforska musikens så kallade ?koder? som styr våra sinnen mot en speciell riktning och på vilka sätt den kan manipulera oss. Jag valde att spela upp fem delstycken (satser) av en komposition jag skrivit, avsedd att illustrera ett händelseförlopp i form av en filmsynopsis.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to examine whether there exists a hegemonic relationship between librarians and users of libraries with a focus on the librarians point of view. The future of movies in the library is also going to be examined. Qualitative interviews were conducted and were examined for signs of hegemony and habitus according to the respective theories. The results of these interviews showed that librarians were in favor of user suggestions to improve the libraries collection. We found that there exists a hegemonic relationship in the libraries, but that it was subliminal and unwanted.
