The distribution of work related tasks depending on gender leads to different appraisal depending on which gender is performing a task. This aim of this research is to study how gender differences influence task allocation within the restaurant industry. The study is inspired by a discourse analysis perspective complemented by constructivist and critical pragmatic theory. Interviews were conducted in two focus groups with seven participants in total. The analysis is divided into four sections which answer six discourse analytical questions using the interview material.

My purpose with this thesis has been to find out how to choreograph a fight sequence in ananimated movie. With the help of professional stuntmen and dancers, I have tried to findmethods and techniques used on stage and in live-action film and apply those to animatedfilms. To successfully identify the techniques used, I conducted a number of interviews andanalyzed literature that deals with the subject of fight choreography. By the analysis of themethods provided by the choreographers and selected parts of the literature, I have compiled anumber of steps I recommend 3D animators should to take in their efforts to create their ownfight choreography..

A two-factor design of experiments done on GGAB for the identification of two selected factors influence on the length of the scattering of heat exchanger gaskets. Denna undersökning grundar sig på erfarenheter där jag sett att rita är en aktivitet som uppstår spontant i stort sett alla dagar på förskolan och jag anser därav att det är relevant för min profession att undersöka denna aktivitet närmare. Syftet med undersökningen är att bidra med ökad kunskap om ritandet som spontan aktivitet och jag valde av den orsaken att rikta blicken mot vad, varför och hur barn ritar. För att undersöka aktiviteten ville jag även fånga pedagogers förhållande till- och avsikter med det spontana ritandet. Resultatet av undersökningen berättar att då barnen ritade som del av den fria leken var målet för barnen att rita något föreställande. Resultatet visar även att det finns flera möjliga svar till varför barn ritar.

Wind is used as an energy source all over the world. To be able to use this effectively, there is a need for as good forecasts and forecast models as possible. One of these models is Coupled Ocean/Atmosphere Mesoscale Prediction System (COAMPS®) that is used to calculate short time forecasts. This model is used here to calculate wind speeds at two different areas in Västra Götaland, Bengtsfors and Vänersborg. There are also wind measurements with SODAR stations for these areas.

Syftet med min undersökning var att ta reda på hur mötet mellan eleven, läraren och den rörliga bilden går till i klassrummet. Jag utgick från tre forskningsfrågor som fokuserades på pojkars och flickors medievanor gällande TV och film. Vidare ville jag se hur den rörliga bilden användes i förhållande till det skrivna ordet under svensklektionerna och som sista område ville jag ta reda på vilket förhållningssätt lärarna har till ungdomars fritidskultur med betoning på den rörliga bilden. Metoden bestod i att jag dels gjorde en enkätundersökning samt gruppintervjuer med elever ur båda könen samt två enskilda intervjuer med en kvinnlig och en manlig svensklärare. Resultatet visade att det ungdomar ser på TV under fritiden, och som dominerar deras val av program, styrs av de kommersiella kanalerna vilka betonas av ett utbud av underhållning.

Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka filmiska skildringar av kvinnor och deras sexualitet samt att analysera och diskutera skildringarna utifrån teorier om genus, makt och film. Arbetet görs utifrån ett feministiskt perspektiv där premissen är att kvinnor underordnas män på grund av sitt kön och att filmens narrativa struktur är utformad efter patriarkala språkstrukturer. Uppsatsens syfte är att i studier av fyra amerikanska långfilmer hitta strukturer och variationer för att utifrån ett poststrukturalistiskt perspektiv kunna föra resonemang kring hur karaktärer positioneras och agerar; en viktig utgångspunkt är att strukturer är instabila och formas av de agenter som verkar inom dem. Poststrukturalistiska tankegångar har även format arbetets gestaltande del där diskuterade strukturer lyfts fram i fyra bilder som skildrar ett sexuellt möte. Gestaltningen har inspirerats bland annat av de filmiska skildringarna och har utformats i samband med resonemangen i uppsatsen.
