När konsumenten får tillgång till ny teknologi möjliggörs nya sätt att se på tv och film, detta nya sätt att bestämma över reklamintag har ändrat sättet som konsumenten utsätts för reklam. När konsumtionsmarknaden ändras måste teknologin och marknadsföringstekniker följa efter. Produktplacering är ett sätt att integrera marknadsföring i kontext med kända aktörer och få konsumentens medvetenhet för produkter att öka. Produktplacering är inte ett nytt sätt att marknadsföra produkter men har blivit mer centralt då marknadens intolerans för reklam ökar. Undersökningen grundar sig på att beskriva hur filmindustrin använder sig av produktplacering inom svenskproducerade filmer.

This thesis focus on the presentation of the filmic room the viewer sees in George A. Romero´s three horror classics Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. The hypothesis goes as follow; fear and element of tension becomes greater if the audience/viewer has a good knowledge about the filmic room in the film, in other words, a good spatial awareness. The conclusion is that it does. The environment is active in its becoming and in its presentation to the viewer.

The northern province of Sweden has in both literature and film been depictured as something foreign and mythical, unlike the rest of the country. It has been my purpose to show in this essay that the systematic categorization of Norrland and its literature reveals multiple criteria known to define the colonial era. By reading the novel Stallo by author Stefan Spjut with postcolonial structures in mind I aim to show how the author uses Swedish mythology and through the presence of The Other criticizes colonial structures in place to this day. By examining the gothic atmosphere I intend to indicate how the trolls in the novel figures as both a horror element as well as a representation of nature itself. It is my belief that the author by further reinforcing the mythological in relation to Norrland addresses the problem at hand.

Syftet med uppsatsen Den manliga hjälten och de döda kvinnorna är att från ett genusmedvetet och feministiskt perspektiv undersöka genusroller och patriarkala tankestrukturer i Richard Mathesons roman I am legend och de tre filmatiseringar som gjorts av denna. Jag ska se hur män och kvinnor skildras, omverken vidmakthåller de stereotypa könsroller som det västerländska samhället traditionellt bygger på, eller om de bryter av mot dessa normer. I uppsatsen använder jag mig av Pierre Bourdieus teori om den manliga dominansen, och även av Gilbert och Gubars resonemang om kvinnan i litteratur som ängel och monster. Om mannens roll är att vara hjälte, vilken roll får då kvinnan?.

The purpose of this thesis is to create a greater understanding of relationships and networks on regulated markets. This includes what the climate are like on such a market and how different aspects within relationships and networks are affected by regulations. By the use of a deductive approach, a qualitative study was performed. This was carried out by interviewing different actors on the Swedish market of alcoholicbeverages. The theoretical framework includes relationship quality, consisting of power and dependence, cooperation,adaptation and trust.

The Swedish municipal community Vellinge has since 2004 adopted ?The Balanced Scorecard? by Kaplan & Norton, measuring not only the financial parts but also other, important factors. The adoption took place since the Swedish government applied new demands on county councils and municipal communities through ?God ekonomisk hushållning?.

Ett av lärandemålen för utbildningen inom barnmorskeprogrammet vid Göteborgs universitet (GU) är att självständigt handlägga en normal förlossning. Kliniskt träningscenter vid institutionen för vårdvetenskap och hälsa ger studenter möjlighet att träna praktiska moment i handläggning av förlossning utan att involvera patienter. Då dessa träningstillfällen är begränsade finns behov av andra inlärningsformer. Film som undervisningsmetod vid inlärning av praktiska moment har visat goda resultat. Utbudet av pedagogiska filmer för blivande barnmorskor är emellertid litet eller obefintligt.

I denna studie undersöks det ifall karaktärer med psykopatiskt beteende uppfattas mindre skrämmande och mer lättsamt i animerad form än i icke-animerad form. En litteraturstudie har genomförts som till stor del fokuserar på psykopater i film och de extrema personligheter och beteende som är frekventa i animerade verk. Två klipp har skapats utifrån två icke-animerade referensklipp innehållandes psykopatiska karaktärer spelade av skådespelare med identisk handling, karaktärsbeteende och miljö fast i animerad form. Dessa animerade klipp utvärderas genom strukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer med en fokusgrupp inriktad på föräldrar med barn som är 7-9 år gamla. Undersökningen visar att de animerade karaktärerna upplevs som mindre skrämmande och mer lättsamma än sina icke-animerade motsvarigheter..

The Lodgepole pines susceptibility to Heterobasidion spp. was investigated in three parts ofthis study. In the first part, discs from freshly cut stumps were collected and analyzed to seeif the fungi can spread and grow naturally in Lodgepole pine stands. In the second part, rootsamples were collected from Lodgepole pines planted in former infected Norway sprucestands to see if the fungi can spread through root contacts. Det här är en studie som genom ett normkritiskt perspektiv tittar på barnbokens plats som material i förskolan. Syftet med studien är att få en fördjupad förståelse för varför barnboken är ett så populärt pedagogiskt hjälpmedel i förskolan och vilka antaganden som ligger till grund för detta. Undersökningen utfördes genom intervjuer med sju pedagoger och fokus för intervjufrågorna var antaganden kring barnböcker och deras användning samt antaganden kring andra sagoberättarformer. Resultatet visade att barnboksanvändandet blivit en norm för förskolor och att detta kan ha att göra med varför de flesta pedagoger jag intervjuade var skeptiska till andra former, då främst tekniska så som film, dator och iPad..

The goal with this project, was to explore the producing of a musicvideo with a synergistic focus in a practical way. Beside the practical work with the recording and editing of music and video, I wanted to explore the sound engineers role in such a project? To my help I had the video producer Hannes Knutsson from the small film- collective Lefvande Bilder and the singer, guitarist and songwriter Conny Flink. The result of my work is a musicvideo published on the internet website YouTube and the report of the making of it along with my work around the question above is published in this report. The name of the recorded and filmed song, written and performed by Conny Flink is ?My Way?. .

En av huvudmålen med arbetet var att få ökad förståelse för hur medborgarnas makt och inflytande utvecklats historiskt inom stadsplanering. Jag var även intresserad av arkitektens roll i denna process. Jag ville som arkitekt, med stadsplanering som huvudfokus, hitta intressanta vägar att arbeta med medborgare och medborgargrupper och att förstå hur ett reellt lokalt inflytande kan ta form. Därför har jag försökt titta på relationer mellan medborgare, arkitekter, planerare, organisationer och kommun/stat. Jag drevs av en övertygelse att jag lättare kommer att finna argument för mina ?sociala ambitioner? som arkitekt om jag förstår de historiska processerna bakom medborgardeltagandet i både Sverige och ur ett internationellt perspektiv.

The purpose with this essay is to illustrate the problematical mother-daughterrelation in Mar-gareta Garpes drama/play ?To Julia? through a psychoanalytic and philosophical perspective. To get a deeper understanding for the relations between mother and daughter, and the kind of motherhood that Gloria is practising in the play I have used a hermeneutic method in search for answers to the questions: Why does Gloria take a position as a so called friend or sister in the interaction with her daughter Julia? Why is not mother Gloria capable to be mature, caring and nursing in the interaction with Julia? Through Gloria Margareta Garpe is giving me possible answers: Gloria is still seeing herself as a rejected and lonely child. The role of the daughter Julia in her mother?s life is to fill an empty space that was created in Gloria?s adolescence when she experienced the same feelings as Julia in present time in the play.

The purpose of this study is using McDonald?s in China and Sweden as a case to find out how fast food restaurant retailers combine adaptation and standardization with symbolic attributes of store atmospherics under different cultural background, and find out possible reasons. The study used McDonald?s in a case format to study in-store atmospheres. Further, the research has an investigating and explanatory qualitative approach, collecting the empirical data through observation with photos.
